Thinking Out Loud.....

And where's Diane? Still partying to celebrate finishing rads? I had my wine all ready for the big celebration!
-
Hello
I have no complaints today and hoping you are all feeling the same way.
Peace
-
Ha - I have lots of complaints. I wish there were a website like this one for dealing with the elderly. Lots of problems with in-laws. Just found out their cable phone service was shut off. Who knows what else is in jeopardy.
I'm glad you are having a good day, though. Hope everyone else is having a good day!
Peace
(grumble, grumble)

Thank you linda, sheila, chris, valjean.....i think i had dessert a bit early yesterday. DH took me to lunch at 11:30 and well, I decided to celebrate just a little. Then a friend came by and made 40 cloves of garlic chicken - yum! Then I crashed.
Today, I am SO damn happy to not have to be anywhere at all. I am in my jammies and just may stay that way for a few hours. Then, it is time to catch up on some paperwork - probably at least a weeks worth of things to do that I have ignored.
Soon, I will be joining those of you taking the pills - the man pills. Ugh.
-
Diane ...After 5 years i finally will become a woman in March.
Dessert is good. I didnt have any instead Im eating and eating ...............................
-
What can I do to be productive today.
chris...i can relate to you with family issues.
Meet me half way we take a nice walk together.
-
Sheila, will BBB be part of that ?
-
NO he's working very hard to make ends meet.
-
Man, I lost my post. When I hit send, I got the screen saying the page couldn't be found or something - the one that looks like I've lost internet. That keeps happening. Something is flaky here.
I was saying - I wish my house weren't such a dump...and I can't cook to save my life...otherwise we could all meet here. You all eat so fancy - and healthy. I don't even know what half the food you eat is!
-
Chris - I don't think it is fancy, I think it is just different based on part of the country. I am from the Boston area, then lived in Maine for several years, then North Carolina for a few more and have been in Seattle for a good long while now. So I definitely picked up foods from all of these areas. Seattle, for example, has more ethnic food than "American" offerings. I know when my friends have visited they have found this difficult, they want a burger and fries not curry and naan or sushi or whatever....it's a "when in Rome" kind of thing.
The house probably isn't as bad as you state, but remember nobody ever went to their grave saying "I wish I had cleaned more".
-
Yes - burger and fries! I know what they are!
-
I am hoping to know what those are tonight when my friend takes me out to celebrate
Now, if I can just stay awake!
-
i eat hamburger and ff all the time. I laugh at you guys all the time eating healthy and rabbit food....firstly I can't smell and taste anything and secondly, I am never going to deny myself what I want and what I want I want all the time, lol!!!
-
Have a great time celebrating - hopefully you'll get a second wind for the celebration!
I just opened a bag of Hershey kisses. 9 pieces per serving, 8 servings, 200 calories per serving = 1600 calories if I eat the whole bag...
-
I say Fukitol
-
Eat the whole bag and wash it down with a bottle of zin!
-
Ooooh - good idea! But I have white left. Does white go with chocolate? Probably supposed to drink red with chocolate.
-
anything goes with chocolate and anything goes with booze!
-
I prefer my chocolate with scotch.
-
Day 2 of my eating.
-
LOL on your pic Sheila! Tooo funny.
Chabba, I prefer my chocolate with margaritas. I also prefer my margaritas with margaritas.
I'm thinking out loud that we may have to change the name of this thread to the drinking and eating thread.
-
Have no more chocolate, wine, beer..............
-
You better call BBB quick!
-
BTW, Chris, I am making pigs in a blanket (dogs in cresent rolls) for the boys and a BJ's rotisserie chicken for DH. FANCY! LOL!
-
BBB to exercise or for more food
-
I meant to bring more food but if you need some exercise and he's up for it (lol) why not?
-
Linda...I will post this here because DD's are on my FB. This is regarding yout latest post LOL LOL
My ex A** is an A**
-
I understand!
-
Hehehe - BBB guy - food delivery AND exercise. Sounds good to me!
Chocolate and scotch - hardcore.
Didn't eat all the chocolate - supper was ready in time. Ham, mashed potatoes, and green bean casserole. I didn't have lunch - just had some corn tortilla chips - apparently that wasn't filling enough. I ate too much supper. Now I'm stuffed. I feel like the pic Sheila posted.
Can't have wine - still have a kid that needs to be picked up later. I have enough trouble getting out of my driveway sober! When they put curbs on our street several yrs ago, they made it narrow. Then with all this snow, they didn't plow it wide enough - not enough room for 2 cars to pass. I keep not cutting the corner enough as I pull out and then I back into the snowbank behind me. Between my hitting snowbanks and trying to remove the ice that encased the car after the ice storm and the curb that I scraped my tire against, I'll be lucky if this car survives the winter!
But Linda - what did you have? Some kind of fish with healthy veggies...all fancy-like. jk
-
No, no fish for me tonight. I am having MEAT! CHICKEN!! Simply because I don't feel like cooking. DH should be home soon and I will eat with him and then watch the celtics game and have a chocolate martini. I could careless about dinner, but am looking forward to the martini!
