Thinking Out Loud.....

Thank you all for being my breast friends - the support is always here. Wouldn't it be awesome if real life was always l ike that
I really had no idea what Sheila meant by VD!!!! Nobody has specified to me a specific D and I see you mentioning D3 - can you explain?
They would treat my DH's aneurysm under certain circumstances (if it were still bleeding or leaking, if it were causing any symptoms, if there were mutliple aneurysms......) So for now, he has to take 15000 units of vitamin A daily and be seen every two months. It's pretty funny, I think I told you that the dye they injected in his arm is causing him and his urine to be sparkly gold - well they will do that test each time again, it is an angiogram for the eye. I can't figure out how the dye gets to the eye in under a minute.
Thinking of you Meece...
-
Thank you. And thinking about your hubby. It can be difficult because guys don't do "sick" very well. Pardon the pun.
-
Great plan Meece. I will wait for the dog.
Here's a link for D2 and D3. The RX is D2 and you can get D3 everywhere!

Hi I'm done. I love my DR. We have been together for 24 years now and Those with dirty minds let me clear hes been my DR for that long.
BP is perfect I asked for another VD test. He was explaining to me how many patients of him got stuck with the lab bill because insurance is not finding the test necessary.
I said I take my chances i have never been denied of any test that I remember.
Okay its $200.00 if any issues and I fight and slap everybody until they pay.
I rechecked my VD level it was 38 not 37 last year 1/24/10.
I went to Stop & Shop after the DR got few things and my weekend dessert. They overcharged me and i went to CS they refund the money so I will enjoy my free dessert tonight.
NO GF left because of the BOGO.
-
He must be VERY GOOD!!
-
Oh yeah - vit D is in units, not mg... oops.
Well, I hope DH's aneurysm resolves on its own. I hope it doesn't hurt. Is it affecting his vision?
VD test is $200?! Man.
-
Chris - No effect on DH's vision - he had no idea that he had a problem.
Sheila - it seems you are being very defensive now about your doc
Me thinks you doth protest too much.
Linda - thanks for the article on D.

In reading what you are talking about I guess i should take vitamins but really can't afford them, but guess I should try. I found the mulit ones I was taking...so will do that again. Got 2 needles yesterday, dont' like that nurse at all and my cell phone fell out of my pocket so it is still there, it is a safelink one so don't really care. We are supposed to get snow tonight here also....am tired today and am thinking about all of you and Deb for DD results (my oldest daughter 33) and have never heard of an aneurysm like that just the other ones. Foots where r u and Seyla.....what is weekend dessert?
-
You should get your cell phone in case you have an emergency.
Weekend dessert......Margaritas and Dairy Queen?
-
Wine, GF or chocolate
By the way I love BS he is in his 70's. Head of the BC Center. He doesn't do this just for money.
(I meant all the surgeries...just in case if dirty minds need to know)
OMG...I have to watch every word I'M posting....lalalalalalala
He explains, talks nice and he takes women with no insurance and donates his time. This is what I call a DR.
I have to go to the last page I forgot everything I read already.

My DR was talking about SILENT MIGRAINES might cause all these white flashes Im experiencing. I copied this article. I learned something new not that thats what I have but could be.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Symptoms of a Silent Headache or Migraine
Typical symptoms of these very different types of headaches consist only of the aura which is just typically the visual event. This might include seeing zig zags or flashing lights, or having dizziness or vertigo.
It's estimated that only about 10-15% of migraineurs experience the aura. There are actually a host of possible symptoms that can hit, usually before a headache stage, such as slurred speech, numbness, pain in other parts of your body such as in the face or on the skin, and ringing in the ears.
-
I had never heard of that, Seyla. By the way, why on earth would you think we woulld have dirty little minds?
-
Meece
-
HI Sandy. Please take your calcium with VD or separately. The generic ones are less expensive.
(((HUGS)))
-
me never heard of it either. i drink alot of milk!! HUGS BACK!!
-
I was telling my DR about these flushes and i said went to see the eye DR nothing was wrong.
He said Im glad you took care of it. <This could also be Silent Migraines.>
I googled it. It also says they get worse when you are under stress. And I am.
-
I think they were just talking about these types of migraines on the Today Show the other day.
And yes, we all have dirty minds, that's why we get along so well!

Now the forecast is 4-8" with 10" possible in the northeast hills. Light, fluffy snow. How much snow are you supposed to get, Linda? Heaviest snowfall during the morning commute. Looks like a snow day.
-
I am in the 10 inch range. All the city schools have been cancelled. Another warm June day for myself!
-
They are saying will be over in the morning.
Hey Linda you are right you might even go to month of July LOL
-
RCG, sounds like your DH is in good hands. I have to go to a specialist also, about a year ago out of the blue in work when I moved my eyes to the left, the right eye would flash a white concave line. One of the girls at work said she used to work for an ophthalmologist and it could be a detached retina. So I waited a while then made an appt. Everything was fine but I do have cataracts, the one in the right eye is getting worse than the left eye. I get checked out about every 4 months.
DD made delicious sautee brussel sprouts in GALIC O O.
Sheila, sound like you have wonderful DRS. I love mine also. Except the butt doctors RN

I have a F/U visit Wednesday. I am soooo tired of being poked in the end, LOL.
-
Are you still having AFs?
-
F/U for AF Sorry Deb
-
LOL!! I hope your bottom is better. You too Sandy.
-
I think they are healed, I am still using the ointment the doc prescribed, I will find out more after my appt.
I better not see his RN or I will just walk out.
-
Do you rather have him to do F/U
-
See You All Tomorrow Morning.
Good Night
(((HUGS))))
