Wow Diane - you are a busy lady. Everything is crossed for DH.
Another snow day Friday? If so, I'm going to have to reschedule DS's appt to get his braces on AGAIN! I'm sure they will understand. Probably won't be happy about it, but I can't help the weather. And we went out a couple extra days just in case - and it still might not be enough. Oy.
I can barely type. My hands are tired from shoveling. I was out shoveling the icy stuff off the driveway before it freezes solid tonight. And I went on the roof of our back porch to get rid of some of the snow. Wish I could get the ice out of the gutters - they are frozen solid. I'm afraid of ice damming. The roof is not steep and I was very careful, but it did get slippery at the end.
Concert tonight. It will be fun to hear one of the pieces they are playing. It's a piece I played in high school.

(((Diane))) (((Sandy))) (((Sisters))) (((HUGS))) ♥
I did all my veggie and fruit shopping
I changed my DR appointment for tomorrow at 10:45 am.
I better put the alarm i need to catch the bus around 9 am.
Other than that things are quiet as we wait for our snow and freezing temp weekend.
-
My gutters are frozen solid too Chris. Praying for the best.
Good luck at the appointment tomorrow Sheila. Hopefully the weather wont start until you get home!
-
I think the weather isn't due 'til later, but the roads and sidewalks could be slick. Be very careful. It's already getting slippery out. The sidewalks and parking lot were slick after the concert tonight. Hoping for good news from all the doctor appointments.
-
Hope you enjoyed the concert!
-
Thursday night into Friday is what I hear, 6 to 8 inches. My sidewalk was a skating rink this morning, I had to put tons of rock salt on the asphalt to melt it. DH is still sore from yesterdays snowblowing.
I'm sure Rebekah's mam is OK. She does have large dense breast. Her doctor knows about family history of BC, that is why she is having one 5 yrs earlier.

Good night! Be careful tomorrow!!
-
HI...My daughter is having the first base Mammo one when she turns 35.
Snow is coming Friday right?
tomorrow DR is not an important one. Cholesterol etc....
I will ask for another VD test. Last one year ago was 37.
-
Do you think you got VD from BB&B guy?
We are home, it has been a very long day. DH has an aneurysm beneath his retina as well as some swelling. We don't know why as usually people get this from diabetes or high blood pressure and he has neither. They are going to watch him for a while as the aneurysm is not leaking now and they hope it will be absorbed. So, cheers for pretty good news!
You guys are all getting killed with snow and we are getting drowned with rain - brutal. I feel for you, I really do.
-
My VD level was 25 so she had me double up.
-
what is vd level?
-
OMG Diane...We never used that since you joined it means
VD=Vitamin D
-
Thank goodness Sheila - I thought you meant venereal disease
-
LOL
How is everything?
You can PM me if you wish.
-
I was very low at 21, but started taking 1200iu and it is up to 37 now.
-
Meece...We have the same level of VD
-
Do you take VD3
-
I got as low as 6 last year, did the prescription and am now taking 3000/day. My most recent score was 30....
-
Yes, in 400iu pills. I do better in the summer when I can be outdoors enjoying the sun.
-
How about calcium.
My intake is 2 Caltrate a day total of 1200mg calcium and 800iu VD. But not VD3
-
I do 1000 mg calcium...
-
I better go to bed. I have to wake up early tomorrow (for me 7am is still in the middle of the night)
Good Night.
♥
-
Good Morning All.
-
I laughed out loud when I read your post, Diane, about the BBB guy and VD!! LOL!!!
Glad to hear they have found what's wrong with DH. They don't do anything for that??Good morning all! I take VD too. My level started out at 16 and has gone up to about 35. I did the RX and now do mega doses of D3. I think I need to move to where it's warm!
-
Linda, you are slurring you speech, have you needed a Margarita already this morning?
-
I guess I am Meece!! Too early in the morning for that. I'm delirious just thinking about more snow and another snow day. Maybe I will have a Margarita for breakfast tomorrow if the kids are home!
-
I was just thinking what it would be like to be snow-bound with boys in the house. Maybe I should send you a St. Bernard with some Rum.
-
It looks like we're supposed to get only 2-6", but during the morning so I don't know whether they will call school or not. Midterms. Just dropped DS off - all he had with him were pencils. And I had to remind him to bring them. Duh. Actually, he had a book to read if he finished early and left it on the stairs when he went upstairs to get pencils. And he doesn't have his house key. Wonder if he has his phone? Good thing he's a walker. And good thing he has me around most of the time to chase after him with everything he forgets! When do they learn? 20? 25? 30?!
Diane - glad to hear DH's eye problem will resolve on its own. Disconcerting when you have things happen for no apparent reason. What were his symptoms?
My VD (lol) level at the end of 2009 was 28. Dr. told me to take 1000mg of VD. I took 2000mg (because I can't do what I'm told). Then when my onc suggested I start taking calcium, I found a calcium supplement that had 400mg of VD in it - so now I take 1800mg VD. Haven't been for a physical to see what my level is now. Should make that appt....and the gyn....and the mammo...and the eye doctor.... too many doctors.
