Thinking Out Loud.....

I am sitting at our desk computer and looking out as it gets progressively darker.
I really want to go out and work in the yard some. We went out Thursday and took all the lights off the trees and house and the bows out of the trees. It looks so bare. I would take down my Chirstmas trees, except DH is watch football and I would have to be crossing in front of him a lot.
-
I want to take down the tree and other things as well, but need help from the DH and FIL who are ensconced for Bowl Day.
-
55 here also, it was wonderful.
-
Linda, you must have gotten more snow that us, I am seeing bare ground in some places.
-
It sprinkle enough to dampen the pavement for awhile, but already drying up. Gotta love Bowl weekend, I mean New Year's weekend.
-
-
I can't even take down the diningroom tree because I would have to walk in front of the TV to get the ornament boxes.
-
How many trees do you have?
-
I took down 3 trees today! YAY!!!
Deb, do you remember seeing the small area on the weather map that had the jackpot snow totals? I like smack dab in the middle of it!
Hope you had fun with Rebekah today!
-
Tomorrow she will be home, around 3 in the afternoon. I have 1 small tree in the bay window and a skinny 6 foot tree to take down. The one in the bay window goes in a box very carefully wrapped and will still have the decorations on it No need to take them off. The other will be taken apart after Rebekah and I take the ornaments off. It is a pre-lit tree.
-
This year, only three. I didn't get my "snowman" tree, or the minature trees out. Just had my 7' wine tree in the dining room, and our traditional 9' in the family room, and a granny tree in the spare bedroom.
-
Meece - that's some serious decorating - I wanted to see the wine tree - what is the essence of that one. I only have one tree but it is 11'.....
-
I made ornaments from plastic grapes and wine corks, and have some german glass style grape ornaments. I will go take a pic and see if it turns out.
-
Took some pics and uploading them now.
-
-
The tinsel things are some vintage ornament hangers DH's aunt had.
-
Meece...Is this the tree that you had an ornament from Hawaii on it?
-
Now, that ornament is on my traditional tree.
-
that is clever and beautiful! I posted my tree with a dark picture on fb since I haven't mastered this yet.
-
Hi Diane..How was your day?
-
Hi Sheila - I have had a pretty good day, it is 4 p;m. and we are watching the Rose Bowl, tenderloin in the oven, and soon will make some carrots and some creamy polenta. Got my monthly burn on the edge of the oven rack but have not yet got my monthly slice....I am clumsy.
-
I love polenta and everything else. Can i come over?
-
I have had this ornament that I bought a a church fair, it is a white egg hollowed out and a hole is cut and inside is a small piece of styrofoam and a small pine tree with a skier, I will have to take a picture and put it on FB. I don't know how to download picture on BCO.
-
Your tree is beautiful! They all sound beautiful!!
-
Of course you can come over! Anyone can always come by my house for wine or meals or hugs.
-
i didn't make anything for dinner. You think that i was expecting someone to cook for me
I have cheese tortellini in the freezer.
-
Sandy, love the New Year pic of you on fb. I couldn't comment on them but wanted to let you know you look fabulous!
-
I am waiting for FDIL and we will have our corned beef & cabbage meal.
-
