Thinking Out Loud.....

I was very interested to hear by rad onc say that he and his partner decided, when creating their practice, to be salary only so that treatment recommendations would never be perceived to be based on income, insurance, etc. The practice is within a private hospital (no public funding) and so they also decided to accept those on limited incomes to the point that they can afford. Very idealistic - love it.

Meece...I love my morning 12 oz mug coffee.
I also drink one cup in the morning and thats it.
I tried to get some persimmons today they weren't soft. I only found one. And I did try the harder one but it never got soft ready to eat. Today I will go to the other V store see what they have.
I love those small yellow Haitian mangos. Did you ever try them?
-
Seyla, buy them anyway and set them upsidedown in a brown bag and they will ripen.
-
Meece....Brown bag in room temp or fridge.
-
Room temp for sure. If you leave them just out on the counter the will ripen, it just takes a little longer, but store them bottoms up.
-
You meant this way right?
It never rippened on the counter. It was so bitter.
Did you ever try fuyu fruit (sp) . They are all over the veggy stores.
-
Yes, supposedly the Fuyu are better for eating, the Hachiya better for baking. I had a Hachiya tree and it bore wonderful fruit.
-
Thanks.
I see you later.
-
Have a good day!
-
Back from grocery shopping. It's COLD! Wind chills in the single digits. Yuck!
Great idea raj! I think you should be president!!Never had those cookies, Meece, they sound yummy.
Off to change sheets. What a day!
-
They are a spice cookie. Soooo comforting.
-
I also have never heard of those and they sound so interesting. Willing to share the recipe?
-
Sure. I will PM it to you a bit later.
-
Opps, I meant Diane. Sorry about that! PM me the recipe too!
-
Sure will. What did you mean Diane about?
-
What about me????
-
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need a vacation and sleep! I thought Diane posted about the cookies, but it was you Meece, right? Seriously, I have NOT had a margarita for days!!!
-
But how about the tequilla?
-
(((LINDA)))
-
Okay you two, the recipe has been PM'd.
-
Thanks!! LOL on the tequila, perhaps that's what I am missing!
-
Just don't add it to the recipe.
-
Good idea. I will sip it while I make the cookies.
-
That could be interesting. My first batch is in the oven as I post.
-
Are you sure you haven't been sippin' it? Reread your post. lol. I've got to go and check on dinnah!
-
I have kn idea what you could be referring to.
-

-
