Wow, things do go fast on this thread!

Mak, we are still having temps in the 90s.  The frost won't come until late Oct at the earliest.  I still have tomatoes, peppers, okra,zucchini, cucumber and my strawberries are startng to produce again.

I was just looking at frost blankets to buy for my plants.  Nights are only getting down to the high 50s so far.

Hey there guys, nope no offendedmy 2nd ex are friends and have been for a long time, It is going to b 90 today also, air is on, feeling better but have to keep taking the medicine....getting nails done and Andrew is coming over, yipeeeee.......I really am not a fruit person...eat some but no even once a week. Weekend plans?  I have to work tomorrow?

Football game tonight - well, actually I'm mostly interested in the halftime show.  Then set-up for our Band Home Show tomorrow.  We're hosting a band competition - bands numbering somewhere in the teens and then Central Connecticut State University will perform for us.  One of last year's seniors will be in that band.  I'm working Hospitality - feeding the judges and band directors.  Food is donated - I won't be cooking - lucky for them!  Gonna be a long weekend.

Last night at the end of band rehearsal, trumpets were named best section.  My DD is section leader.  I was proud of her and them.  Band director said they get free Frosties.  And then he told the trombones they were paying for them.  LOL  Guess the trombones still have work to do.

Hey everybody, sad day today, we lost another BC sistah, Bethie.  I had the honor on meeting her when 27 of us had a meet and greet in Las Vegas.  That makes #3.  RIP Beth.

My Dad is still in the hospital, they were thinking on sending him to rehab today but the doctor said his breathing is to labored.  When I was there a little while ago, he could not even say a full sentance.  Only like 4 words at a time and very weak.  I told the nurse that I think he needs more care at the hospital because he will just be right back here if he is released too early.
