Sandy, It's so nice to be busy. enjoy!!
-
So I guess your early morning days are over!! LOL!!
-
I have been awake since 8:30.
I was just going to post.
Last night I went to bed around 12:30. My sleep pattern is changing not that it makes a different but I really don't like to sleep very late in the morning.
Sandy...congratulations on the good news. I hope the other family issues will resolve somehow. We missed you and here for you.
Hello Deb....Still cant peek ha!
-
Are you ready for a walk?
I meet you halfway some place in Conn. Yes?
-
Fairfield has nice beaches! See you there!
-
How far are you from Fairfield Conn?
-
I don't know, I would guess about 4 hour drive??? Just guessing.
-
Beautiful flowers ladies....hope you all are ok!!! I am fine!!!
Sandy
-
Sandy....you came home early today. Glad to hear you are fine.
I am fine too.
How are you Deb?
-
My son is driving me insane!
-
Then you are not fine and I understand you.
Few more years just be patient. This shall pass.
Is your DH back yet?
-
Linda...I was thinking of you when I read the hot flash topic on Calling Sisters thread.
-
I'm hanging in there. Just got back from bringing my father to the hospital to have chest X-rays, the VNA nurse did not like the way his lungs sounded. He breaths too fast and quick shallow breaths and this causes his oxygen levels to go down the fluid will develop in his lungs. I try to tell him to take deeper breaths but he doesn't listen. His dementia is getting worse, he doesn't even know what he had for supper. They let him go on the bus to go out to eat, he forgot his wallet and they had to go back because he wet himself. I taped signs on his walls near his bed, near his shower and also on the door asking him to pull the cord and wait for the home health care aid to come in to assist him. He will not do it. Twice he ate breakfast at midnight. I don't know what to do, I have had it!
Plus my DD is trying to get home from Dubai but the airports are closed in Paris and London due to the volcano that erupted yesterday in Iceland.
-
Deb..When i heard the news this morning I thought of your DD. I didn't mention anything before just in case if you weren't aware of the situation.
Do they know how long they will keep it close?
About your father I used to take care of few. Leaving notes or repeating its not gonna change anything. Try not to frustrate yourself. It is very difficult to watch your loved one in that condition.

She booked a flight and put it on hold to get permission from the VP's at work because it is a business class trip and expensive, I don't know her schedule yet, she said she would send it to me. She will probably be home Saturday sometime. Otherwise she would have had to wait until next Wednesday to get home.
-
good Morning
I'm up since 8. Also went to bed early.I was falling asleep before midnight.
Last night I heard about one day sale at Macy's. I really don't feel like going but I do need few more things. Coffee time
-
Have fun at the sale!
-
Have not heard from my DD. I wonder when she will be home. I am so glad it is Friday even though it is going to be a rainy weekend. I will probably wash the curtains in the family room.
How was the sale?
-
Yep one day sale and it is on again tomorrow, Friends and Family is then end of the month into May. It is raining here, just ordered a cheesesteak and ranch ff and the boys pizza and a cheesesteak. Deb sorry aboout your dad!!

-
Because that's what teenagers do! How many do you have??? And they don't drive you insane??? Teach me!! He wants to be able to go over to girls houses with out adults present. I don't think so!! He's 14! I am not ready to become a grandma! Today is a better day!
Sheila, Are you still at the one day sale? What did you get? How many days til you leave? Is it may 7th??
Hi Deb, Hi Foots, Hi all other peeping ladies!
-
I got home about 8:30.
I'm happy because I found cotton tops and had a $10 coupon i was so tired at the end i actually bought 2 of the same things I didn't feel like going into fitting room again.
I even found a bras 50% off.
Sandy..I'm fine now I'm really fine. Finished my shopping ready to go.
Linda....I'm a very open minded mother but I agree with this one 14 alone with a girl!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't want you to be a grandma either.
I leave May 6 at 1:30 in the afternoon from Newark airport.
I take a an anti anxiety medicine when I board the plane and take it from there.
I'm not even hungry. My neighbor brought eggplant and sausage this morning.
I have been so good for weeks now that I decided I will treat myself and not even feel guilty.
-
Sounds delicious! Enjoy!!
I am very open minded too but defintiely need parental supervision where these kids are involved. They are always welcome here.
-
I totally agree with you Linda.
I would like to be a nana.
-
Its bedtime.
Good Night
-
I'm taking it easy today. I'm tired.
good Morning
-
Then take it easy.
It's rainy and yucky. Baesball was cancelled. My kids friends should be arriving soon.
-
Deb..I just watched the news and hope DD can make it home soon.
It is darkish outside. I can be a computer potato, couch potato, or any kind of potato.
lalalalalalalalalalaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
-
Rebekah just landed in NY, JFK airport, she will rent a car and drive home.
-
To my Mom & BC Buddies that lost their battle to this Beast:
I wish Heaven had a phone so I could hear your voice again. I thought of you today, but that is nothing new, I thought about you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and a picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake, from which I'll never part. God has you in his arms; I have you in my heart.
-
Thats a very good news Deb. How was she able to do that?
You must be relieved.
