A bathroom set (toilet cover, towels, rug); bright sky blue background and a huge Santa Claus staring out at you from each piece.....I passed it on the next time I needed a white elephant present).
An ornament that has sentimental value to me is.....

a sourdough ornament of a little girl with curly hair holding a teddy bear. She looks like my daughter at that age. The bear is holding s heart with my daughter's name written on it. One tradition I started is buying an ornament for my grandchildren each year
My funniest holiday memory is

I really can't think of a funny holiday memory so instead I will tell about the first Christmas dh and I had after we were married. We were living in the NC mountains and dh was working at a brand new water plant that included a nice kitchen plus a shower. He had to go to work at 5am on Christmas day. The day before turned freezing cold and our well froze up so we had no running water. Christmas morning I packed our few presents in the car, food to prepare for breakfast, plus soap, shampoo, and a towel for my shower! We were the only ones at the plant. It was so peaceful and beautiful bc the kitchen had a gorgeous view of the mountains.

I have a good friend who, on a school trip to Washington, DC when she was a girl, met Robert Kennedy. Later that same day, her group was coming down the steps of the Capitol and ran into him going up. He stopped and talked to them and remembered all of their names!
I have a relative who....

I have a relative who...caught a shark so huge, it made the front page pf the local paper
(Grandpa, my mom’s dad, who loved fishing but hung up his gear after that, because he said anything after that wouod be a disappointment!)

started her own Travel Club. (My aunt, who loved to travel, worked in a bank and when she realized that women couldn't advance to the top......she quit & started her own business. At it's peak, she had 5,000 members in her Travel Club. As a guide, and on her own, she visited every state in the United States and 49 other countries as well. She led her last tour at the age of 86!).

The last wild critters I’ve spotted were....
(me: the neighborhood rabbit last night under our birdfeeder, and squirrels and tits (birds not knockers!)in the yard this morning)
