One year my husband's aunt Mary (who is not much of a drinker) hosted Thanksgiving. She had a couple of martinis when we first got there. She was going to start bringing the food to the table but excused herself and we never saw her again. We found her asleep in her bed....we all ate and cleaned up before we left. Her husband was pretty ticked off but we thought it was a hoot and laughed about it for years.
Another funny memory was..............
-
Lol-to bad she missed all the fun. She must have needed a break.
A fun memory was when we made some amazing homemads rolls & had some left over. First-my one niece sat on a tray of uncooked rolls (how she sat on them & didn't know???) Then my other niece when asked to put the rolls away in zip-lock bags somehow managed to take ALL the 5 pans & STUFF them into one bag. Needless to say they weren't edible & no leftovers for turkey sandwhiches:o Maybe you had to be there but it's a fun memory.
