Unanswered for a day... I will give it a shot:

One piece of advice I give to my kids is when it comes to alcohol and drugs etc, its your body for life... treat it well..  I will never tell them not to do something because then it is a lecture... Choose not to do something because you want to be good to yourself... seems to work.... except now that the girl is in college... but she at least is responsible (and tells me)... keep those doors open... Sorry so long

... near the end of "The Return of the King" when Frodo is about done ... he can't do it ... and Sam says to him regarding the ring, "I can't carry it for you, Mr. Frodo, but I can carry you."  He picks up and carries him to the fire of Mordor.  Oh to have friends like Samwise Gamgee!!!

This is a GREAT question ... I'll ask it for a third time:

My favorite movie scene of all time is.... well, maybe not favorite but the two that immediately come to mind are the scene in "Sophie's Choice" where Kevin Klein is conducting in front of those curved windows and at the end of "Breakfast  at Tiffney's" where Audry Hepburn gets out in the rain to get cat.

Again Favorite or most memorable movie scene is.....

(there are so many but what comes to mind is) at the end of The African Queen when Charlie and Rosie get married with nooses around their necks and the Captain says, "By the authority vested in me by Kaiser William II, I pronounce you man and wife. Proceed with the execution."

I will pose the question again, hopefully you're not sick of it yet.

My favorite or most memorable movie scene is ...

my favorite movie scene is...Heaven Can Wait (Warren Beatty).......end scene where Julie Christie rushes to the football field after the game and they sort of recognize each other.  You just know they'll be able to rekindle that great love they had for each other even though he's a different man.  Sooooo romantic.

    Again....favorite movie scene is............
