    Ack, I haven't followed broadway in ages. Something Rogers and Hammerstain, like Oklahoma.

    (Thanks for asking, everyone. I recovered from the nightmare of AC only to be hit by a nasty cold and sore throat - no fever though, thankfully. I got a Neulasta shot, so I should bounce back shortly.)

    my positive life force. Yoga taught me to appreciate prana (breath, life, vitality of the spirit).

    (windlass, try popsicles or frozen fruit/juice bars for dry mouth/sore throat.  Lemon ice was one of my favorite things.)

    I can't think of the meanest girl in grammer school....only the meanest boy....Larry, a fat kid who enjoyed punching a few girls (one of them me) in the stomach.  He never punched a boy though.  If I ran into him today I give him a karate kick.Wink

    My 50th surprise party.  All 5 of my best friends were there...3 flew in, 2 live here.  When I saw them standing there together, I didn't see anyone else for at least 5 minutes.

    The birthday gift that still holds a place in my heart is..................

    Neat story, wellwater. My group of friends suprised me like that on my 30th birthday!

    One day when my DS was a little boy of about seven; he and I were out shopping, and as we went through the toy aisle I commented that I had loved Barbie dolls when I was a girl and that I wished they would have had the Barbie's little brother doll that we were walking past (Tommy, if my memory serves me right). On my birthday he bought me a Tommy doll with his own money. Ahhh!!!!!

    The best suprise party I was ever in on planning for someone else was......

    Awww, Ruth, what a charming story -

    I was in on the planning of a baby shower for a girlfriend at her house...we arrived en masse with food and gifts.  She had no make up on (was never caught without it), old grubby clothes and her house was a disaster.  She wasn't very happy at first but soon got into it and talks about it to this day (40 years later)

    I passed on all my precious Barbie dolls to................
