I've had a couple, one with a rattlesnake sunning itself on a rock in a path we were hiking (luckily it felt us coming and slithered away after rattling at us for a very tense moment), and another with a dog scoping me out during a walk (got a creepy feeling and turned to see him focused on me... if you know that look you'll have goosebumps like I did... crooned something soothing in a high-pitched voice, then turned my back and walked 'confidently' away - praying he would not come after me and TG he didn't. Haven't seen him since then so maybe he was lost & scared.).
One time I KNOW I had an angel at my shoulder was ...

at a gas station....I had just put the nozzle in and noticed the young boy on the other side trying to get the nozzle out...mom got out of the car talking on a CELL PHONE and had a lit CIGARETTE in the other hand...and that was the hand she reached down to take the nozzle out with. No explosion - wow. Same day....next to a dump truck going around a curve...I was in the right hand lane and for no particular reason slowed down so that the truck took the curve alone....truck was full of rock - and it toppled over on its side. Had I been next to it, I would have been crushed. I consider that day to be the luckiest day of my life.

Pal....he was a mixed puppy my dad bought me when I had my appendix out at age 4. He mysteriously disappeared though.....hmmmm I think my mom was behind that one.

Windlass .. Praying for you .. Safe and comfortable passage during your first chemo infusion today ...Please ask questions .. and make sure you get the answers, you are looking for. Never ever let anyone there in at your Oncologist Office or center brush off your 'concerns', or 'questions!

Actually sauteed is my favorite, but if I can't have that I'll take BROILED
Windlass.....gentle hugs for you. I always took a small cooler with snacks (yogurt, fruit, crackers) because when they hooked that bag of steriods up, I was ravenous! Hope your s/e's are minimal.
Staying with fish.....tartar sauce or melted butter to dip the fish in?
