Yes this is fascinating.
Right breast - upper outer quadrant. (adenocarcinoma - in the gland)
-
Mine was upper, outer quadrant of the left breast. I wonder why so many of them occur there. And right-left seem to be about 50:50??
-
Right Breast...
Mine is nearly central of the upper outer and upper inside quadrant, but the majority of the mass is in the upper inside quadrant.
-
Thank You! I have you all added.
Pam

My first was Left central outer. And in the right upper inner.

Mine was right breast, 11:00 position but 5cms under nipple, so not sure what that section would be called. Had a large batwing procedure on 3/25, then re-excision on 4/8 - and often wonder if this dang thing will ever competely heal!

Linda,

Hope you heal soon!

Hi, Do quadrants affect prognosis, aggressivity and/or tx? Also- just fnd out that if the BC is in the inner/ medial portion of the breast it is most likely going to grain via the IM node. Did you get tested for that or know about this? Did you get a pet or ct scan after dx? Sorry so many ?'s. Thanks. G

I am so deeply sorry. I truly did not mean to freak anyone out. I was freaked out myself as I was not aware of this 3 yrs ago when my mom was dxed and it upset me. I was wondering if this was common knowledge to others or not. Trying to understand things. Sorry again.

Hi rdrake0. Did you have chemo? I have the same oncotype score as you and am wondering if chemo was not suggested for me due to age (62). My tumor was upper outer quadrant, deep to chest wall, left side. Supposed to be easiest spot to treat my doctor said.

Upper outer quadrant, left side
