How about next weekend ?
-
Hey Fixmyradboob - I don't think any answered you. I do not know of anyone. I recall hearing about and the person in Florida. I heard it is so new many are not properly trained yet in this area. I think there was one dr in this area but can't recall who .
-
Hadn' t heard back from the group so assumed today was off. Judy, I would be available next Saturday if you want to meet at California Pizza Kitchen in Fairfax Corner. Cuetang, can you join us? Anyone else?? Just let me know so I can know how many people are coming. THANKS!
-
I'll be out of town next weekend. I hope to attend in November. Have fun
-
I'm available next Sat.
-
Still on for lunch Saturday at noon at California Pizza Kitchen in Fairfax Corner. Hope to see everyone there!
-
Changed my appointment time so I may be able to make it tomorrow, but will be super late...
-
We'll save a spot for you!
-
Next luncheon was to be on Saturday 11/07 at the Sweetwater Tavern in Fairfax near Gallows Rd. Unfortunately something has come up so I won't be able to make it. If you guys want to meet without me, I understand.
-
The next luncheon will be on 12/05/15 at Cheesecake Factory in Dulles Towne Center. Who's in???
-
I'm in. Also, need input please. Young co-worker needs to see a breast surgeon and has scheduled with Dr. Cohen of Inova. Anyone heard anything about him
-
Odie, Count me in! Mary--haven't hear about Dr. Cohen, hopefully someone can provide any experiences....
-
I have a conflict. Sorry to miss all of you!
-
Hi, Monique,
I saw your thread and decided to pop in. I lived in many areas around D.C., including Fairfax, Virginia. I worked for years near DuPont Circle. Boy, your thread makes me homesick! I wish I were there now, as I am dealing with the complexities of DCIS while trying to tolerate Tamoxifen and waiting for a re-excision surgery in late January. I think it might be easier if I were around familiar places and people. Life is a constant balancing act, isn't it? Somebody mentioned pajamas. I bought myself some nice night gowns and p.j.s this year before my diagnosis. It seemed frivolous, but now I think it is a good thing to have nice p.j.s. I wish you the best in finding good support from the NV crowd. Wave at the blossoming cherry trees for me this spring, please. And, I will pray for your recovery.

Factory at noon. Hope to see you there!! »»»»»»
-
hey odie! While 'tis the season of giving, I think I'll have to pass on tomorrow as I don't want to "give" this cold to any of you! Will miss you all and see you 'next year'. Happy holidays everyone!!
-
Hi Odie,
I will be there today after all...
-
Hello Mary625, I just noticed your post. I am familiar with Dr. Cohen at Inova Breast Care Center as I am using his colleague Dr. Bloom from the same office. Dr. Cohen is very reputable and has made the Washingtonian's top doc list several times. He also did my port placement which went extremely well. If I recall from our brief discussion prior to my port placement surgery, Dr. Cohen has 25 years of experience.
-
placid-- think odie cancelled the lunch on the other thread. May be good to PM her and see
-
Jennifer Mary and anyone else who wants to join us, we can still meet for lunch if you guys want. Was going to cancel since it was just me and Mary (no one else had replied) but would be happy to meet you ladies if you want. Just let me know!
-
I'm fine either way. I have missed a few lunches, so wanted to attend since my appt for window shutters was changed. I defer to you guys
-
I've already changed course for the morning and would not be able to get ready in time.
-
OK, no problem. I'll see you all in January,
-
Wishing everyone that celebrates HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
If anyone is interested in meeting for lunch at The Cheesecake Factory in Dulles on Saturday January 8th (?) , let me know.
-
Odie-- you had me at Cheesecake.....
. Sign me up!
Happy Holidays!!
-
Bump! Any takers for Saturday
-
I can't. Got to have my Zometa tomorrow at Georgetown.
-
We will move the lunch to February instead. Have fun everyone!
-
HI All,
I guess our little group has fizzled? Sorry I have not been able to get to any lunches, but life gets in the way.:(
If anyone wants to have lunch some Sat or Sun, post it! Too bad when there are posts it doesn't ping your email. I don't always get to this site.
Hope everyone is well!
Judy

Judy,
I would like to go from time to time. I missed a lot of them late last year due to conflicts.
I feel quite a bit better than a year ago, or even six months ago.Hope you are well, too!
