tjh, that's very funny! But if you are receiving compliments from college students who you don't know well, you know it looks good.
-
Queen Celeste, those are two very cute wigs, but I like your gray pixie best!
I am finally getting some hair. Not just fuzz but actual real stubble. Taking a long time, but I can see the difference daily. Such a relief to see something!
Hugs to all

Hooray, Octogirl! Great news!!! Our next goal: enough hair to cover our heads.
-
I remember how I loved being wigless hatless scarfless -- just a plain nekkid head in a little breeze with my new stubble -- it was such a wonderful sensation to appreciate the tickling of the hair shafts. Soon Octogirl and Peachy!!
-
I must admit, I wear a wig out, the minute I get home I throw it!!!! LOL I love being bald especially being so hot and summer uuugh...I stay home mostly and I too enjoy the wind across my hair as the little bits are starting to grow LOL.
-
phoebe and Melclarity wind that will blow my fuzz sounds nice. Wish it was warm here on the east coast of the states. The only good thing about a fuzzy head is when I go to the gym and sweat I get cool so fast. I guess I'll be a wash and go kinda gal for awhile.
-
I wear hats out side...it us Wisconsin winter...the high for the next 3 days is below 0 with 15 mph winds....when I am inside no hat.... I never would have anticipated that hat head would be a great joy to see!

Hi All. Last year at exactly this time my hair was falling out. So hard!! I finished Chemo in March. I take Biotin and it is growing like crazy. I have had to cut it 3 times. Never thought I would see the day. I will post a picture at 10 months PFC. You will all have hair again!! You can kick your wig and scarves to the curb!!

Queen and Penny- your hair is coming in well. It looks thick and healthy!! As mine grew I got it shaped a bit and I colored it. It made me feel better and less like a patient. Last summer was hard. By October I was done with Wigs. It's pretty amazing process!!
Hugs to all!

PMR53, Wow, your hair looks amazing. I love the color. Did you go to a salon for color or do it yourself? Did you use organic hair color? I want to color mine too......one day.....but I want something that is safe.
-
PMR53- Beautiful!
-
My Sunshine- my girlfriend is professional stylist so she colored it. I did it myself though starting at 4 months PFC. It looked better and it felt thicker. . I used Sally Color Performance Demi color. It washes out after 20 or so shampoos. Super easy to do and gentle. It came in with my usual gray and regular brown color. I used 2 shades lighter and it covered gray well . Thank you!! I forgot to add that the Sally Product I used had no ammonia!! Gentle.

-
PMR pretty color.
-
Patty, what beautiful hair!
Weekly hair check: it's starting to snake down the back of my neck, just barely. I can see I'll need to trim it if it's all to end up the same length. Not yet, though.
Bought shampoo this afternoon for the first time since last April! Of course they were out of my brand of conditioner so will need to hit another drugstore at some point. Still, cause for celebration!
-
so I tried straightening some of my crazy curls.....

-
PMR and Cats, - wow!
I am jealous!! I have been going 'au natural' for months now, but my hair still so thin on top that I just purchased a new wig.
-
How soon after hair starts growing can you dye it? Is there an actual recommendation of how many weeks/months after pfc that is safe to dye? And with what kind or type of color? I love that I have fuzz turning into hair but I am not digging the grey and white at 45. I'm almost 6 weeks pfc.
-
beautiful CatsRus....
Rain, I bought shampoo today also! I don't really need it, but actually I read somewhere that it is good for the scalp also. Sloan who posts on this thread swears by baby shampoo.

Shampoo may be good for the scalp but DEFINITELY is good for the soul, no matter how much hair you have. It smells pleasant and makes you feel good about yourself.
