The Next Person Game

False. But I should be.
The next person is glad tomorrow is Friday.
-
True....I like Friday even though I work on Saturday so it doesn't signal the end of my week, it's still a good day.
(Pallir: Hope your surgery goes well and your healing process is smooth)
The next person is in shock over the news that Hostess Cupcackes is shutting down (I grew up loving Twinkies)
-
no kidding - I had no idea... so I guess, true!
(Pallir, I hope your surgery goes VERY well!! Are you having a DIEP? 5 1/2 hours is all? Mine was 10.... (for one breast)
The next person is planning to retire in 2013.
-
I am seriously considering it.
the next person will miss many aspects of her job when she does retire
-
probably - I will certainly miss the troubleshooting, as I enjoy it - but there's more that I won't miss

the next person has to work late tonight....
-
My job ends when I go to heaven, and I'm hoping to be too happy to miss even the best parts of my job down here.
The next person enjoys working with their hands . . .
((Thanks to gardengumby and WellWater for your well wishes. I am having an LSGAP or hip flap procedure with Dr. Flores, it's not as long nor as difficult and is supposed to take between 4 and 5 1/2 hrs, if all goes well. The vein is longer than the traditional SGAP and this makes it easier, they say. The recovery is supposed to be easier on the body, too. Should be in the hospital 2-3 days.
About Twinkies, my DH mentioned it to me this AM and I said, "Oh, no! I love their cream filled chocolate cakes." He said, " Well you better enjoy them now 'cause the whole company is goin' tits up." Before he realized what he'd said, I told him, ". . . must be nice . . ." It's nice being married to a man who can laugh with you, even when it's at himself!))
-
They used to say that cockroaches and twinkies would be the only thing that survived a nuclear attack. Guess the roaches will go hungry now. :-)
-
The next person is now craving Twinkies
-
LOLOLOL - no 'fraid not. I haven't eaten one in probably 40 years.
The next person wishes that every blessed thing wasn't made into a chance for political posturing.
-
TRUE!!!!! The election is over. Put on your big girl panties and over it.
The next person already has their Christmas decorations up.
-
So true...just want to tell them "SHUT UP AND DO SOMETHING!" (And then lock them in a room and not let them out until they do).
the next person is going to a play this weekend
-
No Xmas decorations going up, as we'll be on vacation over Christmas
Going to play some this weekend

The next person is going to have a little glass of wine tonight and enjoy the evening.
-
I'm looking forward to a martini this evening when work is done! I've had a long busy week and ploan to take advantage of the next 48 hours.
The next person has hit a deer (with her car not a gun)
-

Not today.
The next person will be getting on a plane in the next two months.

The next person desparately needs a haircut!

(yes....where are you going garden?)
The next person is considering ( or actually) doing a little shopping on Friday
-
True if I can drag myself to a store.
We are going to Kona (big island Hawaii) for a month. I can hardly stand waiting!
The next person is having cranberry relish on thanksgiving. -
False-my DH has to fly on Thanksgiving and won't be there to eat it, so my two sons and I will have cranberry sauce. (We'll bring it out for him when he gets home Sat. for leftovers - the best part!) I grew up thinking that the highlight of Thanksgiving was being able to get the cranberry sauce out in one piece! I had NO idea where it came from, but I just loved everything about it...still do, LOL!
The next person is baking a homemade pie for Thanksgiving . . .
-
true - hubby ordered pumpkin, but is waffling now and thinking maybe he wants berry instead.
the next person remembers the little boxes of mincemeat spices they used to sell this time of year.
-
TRUE!!! Had no idea what mincemeat was and didn't want to. I figured that if there was chocolate, buttermilk, banana pudding . . . why would I want to eat something that had sugar AND meat in it? It did not sound tasty, at all, and was therefore, relegated to the "dubious culinary offerings" folder; along with Blood Pudding and Spotted Dick (among other things!).
The next person is already cooking . . .
-
false...I am being the company for the change
the next person is traveling at least 100 miles tomorrow
garden, do you need anybody to carry your luggage?
