(Lucky for me, I live in a state with only 3 electoral votes, so we have pretty much missed the negative presidential ads as no one cares how we vote.....but both national parties are pouring money into the Senate campaign, and watching any given commerical would make you think the devil incarnate was running, I am having to mute the ads of BOTH candidates because I can't stand it....and I strongly support one of them!).

true true true - I tried (in vain, but I tried) to talk my husband into buying a big ol' sailboat and just sailing away - probably a good thing I failed as that was just a year prior to my diagnosis, and well... things wouldn't have been good.
