The next person has a collection of Steiff stuffed animals. I have a bunch of minis from my childhood but my mother removed all of the little buttons from their ears, making them worth much less than they would be. Not that I will sell them! They were my favorite toys when I was little.

I can't say I am excited about the inauguration, I am excited about maybe some things in the US turning around and getting better.

False - I don't remember 10 cent tacos but I sure remember penny candy....yummy! And funny - this afternoon hubby and I ran out to a new local Mexican restaurant and I had a couple tacos....and I can tell you they sure were a lot costlier!
How funny that Anchorage is more than 50 degrees warmer today than we are in the midwest - slightly odd, isn't it?
The next person has been getting teary-eyed watching the "Miracle on the Hudson" today. What a hero the pilot was! And all the rescuers!

I do remember the wax lips. Are they the one's you could bite into and something gushed out, or is that something else. I remember biting something wax-like and actually drinking the juice?

Coonie I think you are thinking of those little wax coke bottle candies that had the liquid inside. The wax lips you could chew like bubble gum but not for very long.

Next person is having mac and cheese for lunch. The power of suggestion but instead of the white sauce I use a can of stewed tomatoes. Also well browned sausage meat. Cheddar cheese on top. Deliciously fatty.
