Thanks Monis.  The Oregon coast has been on my bucket list for quite a while.  We drove through from San Francisco to Seattle in the 60's but I'd LOVE to spend some time.  SoCalLisa - San Diego is also on my list.  Can't believe I grew up in CA and never made it to San Diego.

The Oregon coast is just beautiful...we drove Rte 1 from San Diego to Washington State..what a ride.

I've done Rte 1 twice between LA and SFO. I was on the floor both times. I'm terrified of heights and that road was SO scary. At one point near Big Sur, there'd been a landslide over the highway. They had made a sort of path over it and let cars through one at a time. Never want to do that again.

I actually drove myself from San Francisco North to Mendocino a couple of years ago.  Latent race driver urges!  But i wouldn't drive after dark anymore.

Hi Beachetes just got back from Asian Holiday.Here are a few beach shots.1st one is the Mekong River delta tour we did in Vietnam.

This beach was in Darwin Australia but could not swim there because of salt water crocodiles and toxic  jellyfish😖

This beach was in Bally Indonesia my favorite stop in Asia.Good snorkling on the coral reef right off the beach.😎

Met this guy on the shoreline in KotaKina Balu On the Island of Borneo Malaysia ..The beaches there however were very dirty and unapealing to an avid swimmer like me.

Not enough time in HK and Singapore for the beach.But I did enjoy the botanical gardens in Singapore when I wasn't shopping😇

LOVE the first shot the best, Mum!!! Tells such a story...and that last one, the nose is just freaky!! You can certainly see how it gets it's name.

you can see in Vietnam photo why our Navy men who were on boats on the rivers in Vietnam

we called the brown water Navy...

No problem here but my son's house got some cracks,broken lights and spilled beer. He lives in San Dimas.
