Super wonderful picture Lisa! Totally gorgeous!
Julz - GREAT words of wisdom! That paragraph needs copied and included on rest home and retirement home brochures! AND framed in the hallways of every "home". I need to remember this advice as my folks get older - it seems to take more and more patience!
-
Glad you liked that picture everyone..Barbe..I think I used large format...
I really just take the camera and put it on auto pilot most of the time..
-
You got right down with the flowers though. People forget to try different heights and look how well it worked. Gives the flowers attitude! My sister got a shot of tulip leaves with a dandelion right in the middle. The bright yellow head shining among the tulip leaves just makes you smile.
-
Love the flower photo!!!
Hi all you beachettes!!! Sooooooooo sorry I missed the jaunt to New York last night!!!! Had the kidlets yesterday and was a bit weary....happy but weary!!! lol Barbe how are the pregnancies going???? Sooooooooo looking forward to your grandkidlet stories!!!!
Hmmmmmmmmm.... I'm a thinkin' I'd like to be here today... (Rainy Saturday here) xoxoxo

An ARNIE sighting at the beach!!!!
And a KK sighting, toooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh what a great way to start my day!!!!!!!!!
Poopsie. I missed the big city outting. Maybe next time.
I've gotta go get ready. I'm "volunteering" to do music @ WonderBoy's Preschool's Big Family End of the Year DoDah. It's supposed to be outside with jumpy, bouncing inflatable slide thingies, but it's been raining here forever. Right this minute it's just horribly overcast, with a prediction of storms. I may be the big show if there's a downpour this afternoon. LOL
It will be interesting to see how WB & the Twinzees react to their GeeGee "on stage" for everyone. They've never seen me in this role before. Ho Boy!!
Will have full account.
Wish me luck.

Good morning..I have to go get ready for our San Diego BCO lunch...
-
Lisa -- if you hear any news of LisaSDCA will you let me know? She's just finished her 2nd week of WBR, logging in but not posting. Thanks! I do worry...
-
Hi Beachies!!!
Hey Arnie! Is that your real grandkidlet? It looks like him, but I'm not sure.
Lisa--I just looked at the lunch bunch photo. You all look great, as always. One of these days I'm gonna time my California trip to coincide with ya'lls lunch. Seems like you gals are gems.
Faithie!!!!!!!!!! How did it go with the "star on the stage" for WB's school? I bet you were signing autographs all day. I know he was so proud of his GeeGee.
Since we did New York the other night, where's a good place to go now? Any ideas?

julz4: Thank you so much for the very long message that you left for me, it was so appreciated. Yes visits with my mom are so very special and dear to my heart.
I just had another visit with my mom a couple of days ago, it was a nice visit. We were looking out her room window and talking about when it gets a bit warmer how we will take a walk into the garden outside her window and sit by the gazebo and this so makes her happy as it is beautiful. I also have a son that is autistic and in residence. My mom and I also spoke about when weather gets better, that my sons liaison could come with my son, pick me and my mom up at the Nursing home and take the 4 of us down by the waterfront - I know my mom would really love this....
I so am treasuring these memories that I am creating with her...

How is it that I've missed more "good" stuff.
Thank goodness my DH is now home. He returned yesterday & surprised me by his 'early' arrival. He made it in time for my center-stage act for WB's school.
My teeth just about fell outta my head, when he walked in.
(I'm easily surprised. BTW)
So what on earth did you post Coonie?????????????????????????????

Crap -- I missed all the excitement too!

KK. Maybe if we grovel some more, they'll relent and give us some specifics.
Or maybe I'm having more fun using my imagination.............. LOL
