anybody want to sit under my hat
-
I do!! I do!! I do!!!!
I could sit under there all day with you & get caught up.
How were the graduation festivities?
Will you share some photos of our proud college graduate??
P.S. I think Julz shops at that same store.
I swear she has one of those same hats!!
Now I need one, too!
Edit:
What is it with me starting new pages everywhere I go??
Here's me. Last week.
DD posed me for my yearbook picture.
My scarf continues to grow:
-
Faithie!!!!!! Love the pic
The scarf is getting bigger, huh?? Soon, you might need some help getting it across your shoulders. If I remember right, it's pretty heavy
-
Shall we go in ??
-
I will be following you! It looks so inviting!

Hello Ladies,
Hope that you all had a most wonderful and special mothers day. So how did you all spend your mothers day?
As for myself, I went to visit my mom at the nursing home. They had 2 mother's day tea seatings in the auditorium and my mom and I had the 2:15pm seating. They had a quarter sandwich platter and a small cake variety platter, and they also had a volunteer playing some oldies in the keyboards. Mom was really excited about this..
I purchased mom 2 nighties (peach colored). She was really very happy about spending mother's day with me. She gets very excited these days about the smallest thing... and smiles about it and this makes me oh so happy.
In the auditorium at the tea, one of the staff photographed me and my mom together, and as soon as I receive it, I will upload it here.
So Happy Belated Mother's Day ladies!

home at last
-
Welcome back Lisa!! How was your trip? You got some pics??
-
Charmaine. That is just the most wonderful Mother's Day story.
I don't know how I missed it before??
What a joy to have had the day together.
((((((((((((Barbe)))))))))))))))
I had a delightful GeeGee day. Spent the morning with my wee wittle peeps and they cooked my scrumptious buffet of goodies. Then we spent the rest of the time till naptime having a serious play-doh extravaganza. It was sooooooooo much fun.
Ended the day with great phone conversations with my own mom & DD2. Pretty sweet.

I seriously had a great day today. My school went over-the-moon showing their love for me. There was an enormous 'welcome' banner -- the length of the stage. Everyone had painted their feet and walked across it. Others added hand prints later. Every color of the rainbow...... and that was before we got underway.
They'd declared it "Wacky Wednesday" and the kids & staff out-did each other coming up with silliness. Mis-matched shoes, polka dots & stripes (who would do such a thing?) toe socks, portions of Halloween costumes. One teacher had spray painted her hair blue for the occasion. How cool is that? Nearly made me forget all of this other nonsense.

Must get my Tshirt ready for our Komen walk. Must get everybody's name written on the back. Whoa. That will be quite a challenge, not to leave anyone out. I'll do my best.

love birds on the beaches..
-
We got in late last night...long trip home..Jacksonville, to Baltimore to San Diego...head winds all the way cross country so we were late..
I was glad to leave the humidity of the southeast...not the hospitality..
Faith..how do you keep up the pace...I am exhausted
-
Sending you Beachy Hugs from far away.
Weather is great. Life is great. This place is a paradise.
People are very friendly and respectful. I like that very much.
DD has another 4 days off. Here comes the beach.
Today we bought a beach umbrella so I dont sizzle again like last time.
Big Hugs are send to your way.

no purple flip flops here, check under the bed...lol
Saw some pretty flowers yesterday...colorful ...with lots of good aroma
-
These would be better on a beach with no rain
-
Wow. Lisa.
Our source of inspiration & awe.
Thanks for taking the time to share.
What a gift.
Dream. I can now fully grasp the heart-ache of the arm being less than functional. I went to fuse some pieces onto a quilt/illustration and could not push the heavy, heavy iron. I just about lost it all together, but then remembered that we had a very 'light' iron & I was able to use it for small chunks of time today. My heart is with you.
And I LOVE that you searching for purple flippity-flops.
Big hugs dear. It's so great to see you beach-side. Big hugs.

Sheila. Take allllllllllllll the pictures that you possibly can. Someone here will walk you thru how to get them to share with us. We'll figure that part out. You just take the pics while you're surrounded by heaven-on-earth.
Sharon. That pic of the couple at sundown brought a lump to my throat, as I'm missing my DH while he's in FL. That's a good thing..... to have someone to miss.
Meece. I'm always so glad to see you here among us.
I got a note from our Julz on FB that she has a run of 5 nights in a row at work..... so we must wish her well from afar.
Cooooooonie, oh Coooooonie. I'm still waiting to see some grad-ie-ation pics of your brilliant daughter and the proud parents. We're only just so patient. I'm gonna be forced to check her FB page and pirate some -- if you don't get with it mama-coon.
Well. I shouldn't have started naming names, that only leads to leaving people out by mistake.
Charmaine, and Carollyn, and Arnie & Konakat and goodness, Barbe & Eph, Plus Spar & Mary Lou!! And Mum away on yet another trip (and you guys think I do a lot of traveling! I think Mum wins the award.) And our newbie Glanter.
I think I must relent and rely on the A to Z and back again Z to A.
I've asked Jayne or Genia to post some of their recent cruise pics here on the beach...... so be on the lookout!
xx00xx00xx00xx00xx
-
I'll try to do that tommorrow. If you want to go to my FB page and pick the ones you like Deb....I don't care at all for you to post them here. I've never posted them on here and I'm not really sure how to do it. Can we say DUH??? lol
hugssssss

-
I don't have flip-flops Dream, but if I did, mine would be purple too! I'd share them with you.
-
Now, Sharon.
Of all times for you to post the thumbnail size pics.
Now?
You must restort to the littles, now?
With purple man having worked so hard on his abs?
Must go find stronger reading glasses.
Happy wake-up call to one & all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
xx00xx00xx00xx
Genia, welcome!!!!!
I'll go snatch some pics & post here!
-
I don't have purple flip-flops here either. Basic black, yellow or orange. Black goes with everyting and I tend to try to make everything match. I can be too rigid. Faithy, I need your help on getting past that!
-
Faith dresses for fun. Polka dots are her thing.
By the way, Nathan knows all of the Giraffe book by heart.... he is always a line ahead. What a wonderful reading tool. Nathan is 4, he will be 5 in august.
-
HOW DO I MAKE PURPLE MAN LARGER THAN LIFE???????????? I answered my own question. If you click on the picture you can see it larger; FYI - it's on a site that says it's for gays & lesbians-don't know what sort of cookie tracking that will create with all my Christian websites I go to. It will confuse the heck out of "Big Brother" I guess.
