LIFE'S A BEACH!

Mary_Lou, I love your Christmas avatar. I need to find me one too. I have a feeling it will be a wonderful season this year.
Hope all has had a good day on the beach.
So ready just to relax in the hammock and nap, then maybe a walk.
-
this looks like a peaceful part of the day.
How cool is this. So much to enjoy on the beach.
Hugs from A to Z.

Home from the recording studio. I can't even begin to tell you how much incredible fun this marathon day turned into. It's my favorite part of this project.
Today was background vocals: harmonies. Think 'do-wa-do-wah-dittie-dittie-do-wah."
Then put into 3 or even 4 part harmony, with each of the parts dubbed at least a second time. So the end effect is that it sounds like I'm singing in front of at least 6 or 8 people.....
Takes my think little melody and turns it into a completely polished, professional, rock-star production. Even tho I'm there the whole time, it's hard to explain how awesome it is..... like how was this possible? How is this really happening?? And then I pinch myself once or twice.
Tomorrow is the finishing touches -- or as much as we can get accomplished in 5 more hours. My arranger has moved to Nashville (to make it in the big-time!! which he so deserves.) I'll head to the studio, straight from church.
So I get home from the studio and hubby has put up our little tree--lit it and wrapped a skad of presents and they're laying in wait for my arrival.
BEACHIES!! LISA!! I have a brand new digital camera!! With all sorts of bells, whistles, cases, instructions, lense cleaner brushes, straps, covers, paper, battery pack recharger...... the man went all out!!
He's allowed me to open my happy-December present(s) early -- to:
A. Surprise me: completely & totally
B. Prove yet again how much he loves me, sweeping me off my feet
C. Allow me time to figure it/camera out before the holidays arrive for real
D. All of the above
I don't know if I'm gonna be able to fall asleep tonight? So much excitement. He really did surprise me.
Pinching myself.

Oh Faith How Much Fun! I'm So Glad you had such a Whirl Wind Day of Fun & Surprizes!!!!
What a Wonderful Way to come Home Too!!!!
Now go Surprise Him! TEE HEE!
-
Wow Faith.what a neat early present...now you are armed and dangerous..
We just got home from a Jazz Festival...this is our favorite group..
-
Hi it feels like forever since I was last on the beach. I will drop in later with more to say but for tonight it is enough to dip my toes in the water...
-
Faith, it is wonderful to hear about your day. I miss singing
I do sing in the stair well when I get a chance. I love the acoustics.
I have been busy all day with my craft room. It is coming along very well. Found so many things I had forgotten about.
It was so nice to sit and reflect.

OK. I fell asleep (which was awesome) but I don't even want to tell you when I woke for the day.
Tooooooooooooo much to think about!! It's so amazing -- that all of it is fantastic!!
Must get organized before church and then on to the studioooooooooooooooo..... with new camera in hand. YES. I am now seriously armed and quite dangerous.
I spent oodles of time realizing I have NO idea what most of the gadgets on the camera 'do.' I don't even know what the terms of explaination mean. Supposedly, I'm not to be intimidated by this "potential."
Wish I could take some sort of a class???? Where to begin???? Lisa...................
such a lovely challenge to have.
(Mary Lou..... it will be so much fun, awaiting baby-grands together!! How fortunate are we? Oh, and I'm also being inspired by your craft-room re-dux. I would need a front-end loader to see my pristine table tops, at this point.)
Thanks Spar, Julz and Footie for your excitement over my recent 'developments.'
Dreams: it's good to see you sticking your toes in the water again.
Everybody have a great day!!
Left-overs from Spar's party, I suppose?
-
CELIA!! This one's just for you:
