LIFE'S A BEACH!

Hi Beachy's! My eyes are loopy tonight as I had them dilated at the Doc. today! So Bare with me if I stumble across the beach tonight!
Spar you are The Pic Girl today. Bring all kinds of fun to the Beach today. From ever changing Flip flops, Funny cards received, Wonderful Light houses, even the Sweet Kind, & Scenic places to lay in the sand! All this wrapped up in pretty ribbon. Thanks for keeping things going today & enticing some friends to come play!
Dreamwriter I'm glad the powers that be could take you to see your Friend! We SO Hear that Smile shining down on us at the Beach! I'm sure your friend loved seeing it too. These girls are a terrific bunch!
Celia I'm glad you came to play & bring your 'Special' finds. Who would of thought smoozing on the beach with the 'Simpsons'. Even if it was a little sandy! Always finding fun things for us, Thank You! Do you know why they call it a 'Paper Nautilus' shell?
Shrink how are things coming together? But most of all how are you feeling? Praying for you swelling to go down!
Mary Lou it's good to see you walking on our Beach again! Such Beauty in your shells that you have found!
Waving Hi to all my Beachy's Faith, Sahalie, Jazz, Foots, Wings, Biker Jan, Heymoose, Saint, Lisa & All that I have missed!
-
Biker Jan, You should be proud.....
I'm sure you have much Talent....Rest easy with much Beauty around!
-
Julz - the swelling in my arm is the same but you'd really have to look twice to notice it. Doesn't hurt. Thanks for asking. I think it's going to be part of me for a while.
Spar - making my own greeting cards gives me a lot of pleasure. I have enough paper, stamps, die cuts, ribbon to last for a long time. I'm more crafty than I am artsy.
-
julz, I called it the paper Nautilus because it is made from paper pulp....i am guessing in this case that the paper pulp is smushed into a mold and left to dry. I have made paper before, but only flat paper made the traditional way. One artist friend of mine has made small people shapes formed out of paper pulp and they were solid shapes, not hollow.
more shells....abalone......
lots of shells....
Now for some edible ones....
Belgian chocolate shells.....
White chocolate shells--see the wrapped up one?
<>here are shell utensils to eat with.....
-
Janny, that is cool about your ancestor, Charles Frederick Kimball. Do you know if there is artwork of his in the Philadelphia Art Museum? I spent a lot of time in high school in that museum and his name sounds familiar.
-
wow, biker, i bet your cat sketches and landscapes are good, if you ever want to share please post or pm me I would love to see your work. How neat having family that has his work in a museum! I am craving candy now. Thanks a lot, Celia. It looks so good.
Saint, thank goodness your arm doesn't hurt. Do you have software that makes the cards and then you decorate them? Can you get the stuff at hobby lobby. I am always looking for new crafts to do.
Hey julz of the beach, you always brighten up the place
From A to Z everyone have a wonderful peaceful night

Good Saturday Morning beachers..
Look who is awaiting our showing up at the beach today..
So lets go get our towels, beachbag, chairs, umbrellas , thongs and stuff , get to the beach and look for some shells for Celia...
Maybe we could get some help from these guys...
-
Lisa Gorgeous Scenery on our beach! They look more than Capable of helping us find shells for Celia! Here we are all dressed & ready to help inspire them.....
-
I get my craft supplies for greeting cards from Michael's. They have card making kits too which are great if you don't want to spend a lot of time picking out coordinating papers, embellishments, etc. I took a class at Michael's and get card making magazines which give me ideas.
Foots, hope this is a better week. You might be able to get financial help for the wraps from the ACS.
-
