Jane , I think Ulla is refering to the paragraph "power in the word".

Hi Lisa , have fun tonight. Be careful driving.I think the roads are just wet now. We're all thinking about you sweet sister. Oh , we can talk tomorrow. Now , no swinging from the canderliers tonight!lolxxxx

I just had a horrible thought. If any one of us was to suddenly get knocked over by a bus or something and disappeared from this forum, we would all be wondering what happened and we would never know. We should leave details somewhere in the house that one of our family members could use to access this forum and let everyone know. It's a macabre thought but we take risks every time we drive and the other day at this course I was doing one of the guys there threatened to come back with a gun and shoot everybody. He was barred from the course and we didn't see him again but anything is possible! I would just hate to be always wondering what happened.

Hi dear sisters! My husband has developed a "falling over" thing. We don't know if he had a stroke or if he has one of about 100 things. Don't think it is Meniere's, because the room doesn't twirl, just tilts? So I may be missing for awhile. Y'all take care of each other. I will get back to you when we know something. He only has it once or twice a day. He is diabetic, which means it could be a dozen things.
Love you, Shirlann

Shirlann, I will say a special prayer for your husband. Thank you for letting us know. I hope it is just a passing thing and he will be better soon.
Hugs,
Jane

Karyll, I am thinking of you. Oh, I wish we knew what is happening! I haven't seen her post in any of the other forums. I am worried.

I have a tendency to be a bit of a worrier but have worked on it and I am not too bad now. It does raise its ugly head every now and then though! My mother has always been the biggest pessimist and panic merchant. As a kid I used to sit on a rock in front of our house, worrying about whatever family member was out - praying for dear life - but at the same time certain they had had an accident. I had leaned to think like that because my mother always voiced her fears! Now I tell myself to not worry until I know something definite and I distract myself. Most of the time it works and I don't think I am really like my mother. She has multiple phobias - thunderstorms, frogs, germs... the list goes on! When my sister was about 10 she read my mother's diary and the words "...if I shuffle off this mortal coil any day soon..." made her wonder what she was talking about. I think she must have asked someone or looked it up and realised that my mother was talking about impending death! Pretty scary for a 10 year old to cope with. Anyway, my mum is now nearly 91 so she had many years ahead of her. I though pessimists were supposed to live shorter lives?!!!

Awww Jane (((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))) worry is a hard thing not to do. You are right. We need to tell a loved one to come here and how to come here in case anything happens. God forbid , but it is reality. Wow , that was a scary thing you experience. I hope he never comes back and was just talking with a hot head.
I know what you mean about hoping you didn't "inherit" phobias from your mom. I was always afraid my son would have anxiety attacks , because when he was very young I had them for a couple years. I know he witnessed my struggle at times. But hopefully he won't have them. Sometimes life is hard...

Yes , I have been worried about not hearing from our sweet sister Karyll. Gosh I wish she would e-mail us. Does anyone have an e-mail addy for her? Karyll , if you read this , please just post a "I'm ok" if you don't feel like talking here. We miss you.xxxx

Ulla , hubby is gone , what are you up to? When I have an evening or weekend alone. I turn on the radio , I love music , and make something that my o/h doesn't like , for dinner. Last time I was alone , I made sesame chicken and rice. He doesn't like chinese. I enjoyed!

Sending my love to your family, its really strange because my sister had a simular experience recently.
She had an inner ear problem that they sorted out quite quickly. They did think it was Vertigo at one time? I suppose it could be anything...
Yea Sue would be nice to chat, have a few battles in my head at the moment that Im having trouble making sense of and thought maybe you had simular experience?
Im off to take the kids swimming today
first time the scars are out for all to see. Maybe they will chuck my out for scaring all the young children!! LOL. My boys love swimming and they have NO fear, thats what scares me, my youngest jumps in then wont let me hold him, even though he just sinks!
Better go and get the old cozzy on.
Love to you all!
Lucy
-
Shirlann, I am sorry to hear about your husband. I thought the same thing as Lucy, first thing that came to my mind was Vertigo. I hope they figure out what is wrong, and can treat him. We will say prayers for him.
Manos thank you for that little clip. Very nice, and easy to relate too.. Mel..didn't it have your favorite painting in there?
Well, I think I had a few too many last night. I only had 3 drinks, but since I am not used to drinking that much, it gave me a headache.
I have stuff to do today to get ready, but I have no energy or motivation. Not being able to eat really is hard!
I am not in the most conversive mood today. So I just wanted to stop in and say hi. I will try back later before I leave for the hospital.
Olivia said she will get on here and post to update you.
xoxo
