Dancing with the Stars

I think all the finalists are good, so it's hard to say who will go. Don has not been given a fair shake in my opinion. When Kathleen makes a mistake she is given a pass...when Don makes the slightest mistake he is penalized...not fair! Tonight will be interesting.
-
I can't decide!!!!! I will be sad for whomever gets the axe......
-
After I heard Don's story last night...about growing up in the gettos of Houston (my hometown) I am kinda partial to wanting him to at least make the finals. He has really turned his life around, and has two adorable kids. William had a similar story coming from Cuba. Amazing!
-
I hate to say it, but I think Katherine choked under the pressure last night. Did she really have some kind of back spasm or did she just mess up? If she just messed up, then maybe she doesn't belong in the finals. At this point in the competition, you have to bring your A game for every dance. I really loved her dancing at the beginning of the season, but am not quite as impressed now, even tho I still think she's extremely lovely.
Kaara, I agree with what you are saying, that Donald & Katherine are being judged differently. Is it that enough football stars have won the trophy & they'd like to add an opera singer to the list of winners?
-
Katherine is safe! I have to say that I'm delightfully surprised... I really didn't think she'd have the fan base to carry her through after the lower score last night. YAY!
-
I hope Maria is out....I want Donald in the finals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
-
A bit surprised but should be a good final!
-
Yea! I knew Don's fan base would pull him through...he has never been in jeopardy since the beginning. In fairness though, Maria and Derek were the better dancers of the two, but I was glad to see Don make it because he was treated unfairly during the competition.
-
I like his personality better too. I will be really torn next well, because they all seem like really nice people.
-
I could feel it coming for Maria and Derek. I think one of the men will win this time, either one is all rright w me.
Katherine's green costume was outlandish, bad design. Maria's second dance costume, no, but the black, liked that.
-
Boo hisss I loved Maria, last night I split my votes between Maria and Donald really wish they could have all participated in the finals but c'est la vie, it really has been a great season.
-
I went to lie down after dinner, and ended up taking a 3 hour nap.
DH just came in and told me that "the girl with the goofy laugh got the boot tonight on DWTS"....
-
My sister and I needed to do some shopping last night (making a centerpiece for a baby shower) but we made sure that we finished 30 minutes before DWTS so I could drop her off and I would make it home so we could both watch! It was almost shocking to see Maria booted off but in a way I am glad that Derick is not in the finals again. I have not had a 'favorite' at all this season, I guess missing 3 weeks in the beginning didn't help much, but what I did see, the ones with bad attitudes didn't make it to the finals even though they could dance. Can't wait until next week for the finals.

Well, just woke up this morning to find Maria got the boot. Delightfully surprised.
-
Anyone know about DWTS show in Las Vegas? We're thinking about going, but not sure if there are even any tickets.
-
Just jumping in...
When this season was announced I was so ho-hum about the contestants. I never expected them to be the best dancers ever on the show! I have to close my eyes during the extended suspense filled seconds, seems like minutes, when the couple who is leaving is announced. It's just too painful when they are all so good and have worked so hard.
can't wait till next week. -
My preference would be for Donald and Peta to win, but I'm sure it will be William...he's got it all..looks..sex appeal..and he can dance!! The latin fan base he has will come through for him. I enjoyed that Samba that he and Cheryl did again last night...what hip action. I told my BF I wanted him to get a pair of tight white pants like that...hehe! His reply was "whatever I have to do".
-
Gracious, I sure hope the DWTS tickets aren't sold out, DH and I are going to Vegas at the end of June and that's high on my to-do list!
Oh, now that Maria is voted off, after the hoopla, expect Derek to drop her like a hot potato!
-
I'm afraid the white pants wouldn't have quite the same effect if worn by my DH...actually the effect would be that I would break down into hysterical laughter
-
I missed last night's show but just finished watching it on abc.com Glad Donald got to stay. He deserves to be on the finals. Did anyone notice Peta's face? I think she was way more nervous than Donald.
Not sure what to think about Katherine's spasm. I do know a steroid shot can relaxed that muscle in just a few minutes. Wonder if she got one? Or, maybe she just buckled under pressure.
Maria has been playing the sympathy card all these weeks. No way someone with broken ribs, and foot would be able to dance and bounce around the way she has. The Golden Boy is starting to get on my nerves too.
Glad to see William made it to the finals...not surprised. Loved the encore!!! Muy caliente!
Ruth - you are too funny. Not many guys could wear white pants like that.
Can't wait until next week. The freestyle is always a real treat to watch. All three couples are great but William continues to be my favorite.
-
Seriously...my guy would look really good in those tight white pants...I'm looking for a pair for him as we speak! Next week should be very exciting!
-
OK ladies, here is an opportunity to cast your favorite stars for next season.
-
Oh, I think the 'All Star' season will be such fun to watch!!!!!
-
Ack, I turned my head and missed Donald and Peta's score... anyone???
-
Never mind... they did it after the commercial... doggone, Len, a 9 for that??
-
FINALLY a 10 from Len for Donald.
Gotta love the cheese-heads in the audience!
-
WOW!!! What a night!!!
Loved the show, it was action packed with the three best dancers of the season.
For once, I thought Brooke Burke looked nice tonight. A little 'Once upon a time-ish' but pretty.
William & Cheryl's 1st dance was fabulous. I clapped out loud in my living room after that. I agreed with Len that their 2nd dance was predictable.
Katherine and Mark...I liked both dances. I did absolutely love her singing before she started her freestyle.
Donald & Peta--once again, I agreed with Len who said the 1st dance was 'too safe'. But I did like it. Their freestyle was awesome. Especially his attitude at the end, mouthing the words of Cowboy Troy, "huh, yea, one time, get you some of that!"
Fun, fun, fun!
-
I think its between Katherine & Donald.....
-
great dancing tonight - going to be tough to pick a winner!
