Update on our Dear Puppyfive (Debbyfive)
Puppy herself sounded fairly upbeat, more so than the prior days. Ed is upset and worried. She said they will put her on a pain patch to help with the constant headaches. Puppy also said because of the severe headaches she can't stay on the computer for long periods of time so she didn't figure on posting much. I will try to keep us all updated on what is going on.
Prayers and big hugs to you, my sweet sister, Puppy!

Beth, thanks so much for the update. Please tell Puppy my prayers are with her. She is my Not So Secret Pal and I just pray for healing, pain relief and support for her and her family.
I sent her an ecard today but I had no idea this was going on with her. Again thank you for the update. -

I talked to Debby last week and they "then" had no idea what they were going to do...
Thanks on the update Beth I really appreciate it.
Lots of thoughts and prayers coming your way Debby.
Gentle hugs

Pup, you know you're always in my thoughts. Sending more of extra good karma your way across the ocean.
Hugs, -
Hang on Deb...if love and thoughts alone could get you through this, then I, alone, could cure you...
Think of all your true loving sisters here praying and pulling for you. You are never alone, honey.
JTTW and the car and the freakin house and the dog and the kids and....HELP! -
wow... I didn't realize this was going on... how awful for her.
She will be in my prayers.

OK I'm on the phone with Deb as I type and she's weepy but she's Deb and she's hanging on. I'm reading to her what everyone has posted and she's...uh...weepy!
Actually, she's very grateful as is her way and the lift in her spirits is palpable over the phone. Well. Hmph. She just bumped me for another call. The nerve.
Anyway, I'm reading the posts because she can't. Her situation is extremely precarious and Pups could use all the support we can show her. She's terrified, which is totally understandable and is in pain to boot.
Thanks for kicking this off, Beth. I have Deb's address, too if anyone wants. (After surgery, Debby will be in the hospital for at least 7-8 days).
Now we wait for the surgery date. And pray like madwomen that everything stays quiet until then.
Thanks, everybody...xo -
Puppy - Thinking of you and praying for you!!
Lots of hugs,
Sue -
Mena I would like Debbys address. Thanks
Puppy you have prayers going up for you all over the world. Hang in there my friend. The Lord is in Control. -
you are in my thoughts, Debby...
-
OK, I was on the phone with Deb and she put me on hold too! Is this a pattern with our Puppy? Anyway, it was the cardiologist and he gave her the green light to go ahead. So now she is waiting for a date from the hospital. She was weepy, but who wouldn't be. But she cheered up after the doc's phone call and sounds in much better spirits!
Mena, Itoo would love to be able to get Deb through this on hopes, prayers and love. With all of us together, she will get there. Then we can descend on her place and cook for her (OK, not you, just me) and watch all of her animal kingdom from the sun room that Ed built. (Geez, that sounded like a nursey ryhme!)
Will bring more updates as I get 'em! -
I too didn't know anything was going on. Prayers and thoughts for you, Puppyfive.
Shirley -
I'll be adding my prayers also!
-
Had a nice talk with Puppy this evening, she sounded relaxed, was laughing. She doesn't have a surgery date set, but she could be called at any time. She's already gone through all admitting procedures and had her lab work done.
Beth, everybody, let's get those cards rolling. She'll probably be in the hospital and out of communication for at least a week after surgery.
I broke my promise to myself to stay away from the boards for a week to post this Puppy!!!! You are constantly in my thoughts and prayers.
Mizsissy -

They have no idea whether she will be in for a day or goign right home or going to rehab after. But....I will find out and let you all know.
