Big Brother 8

Although it may have been unfair that Dick and Danielle entered this game as family and had the advantage of that, they were up on the block plenty of times, yet the others kept letting them slip through. They have only themselves to blame for the Donatos getting where they did, so for that, I think it's funny as hell.
-
I agree that I lost all interest too after Zach lost HOH . . . to be honest, I don't care which Donato wins, altough to be fair, Danielle played a much better game than her Dad!! Also, the other house guests made critical errors when they didn't get rid of one of them when they had the chance. As someone said, I don't think I'll even watch - just find out after the fact.
Just call me a sore loser - ha,ha)

And so, another season of Big Brother comes to an end. I think Danielle was surprised that she lost against her father. Do you think she will still be close to Dick now that the show is over or do you think she will get as far away from him as possible? Her face during some of Dick's answers at the jury questions was priceless. I could tell she was one unhappy camper.
-
Yeah, I noticed the look on her face too. I thought earlier on that if they both got to the final two, that Danielle would win over her Dad. But after hearing the jury talk about how Dick played the game, I started thinking that he actually had a chance to win. I'm sure he'll end up sharing the money with her anyway.
-
I'm sure it's hard to manage when you are dealing with family, but I suspect that the rules of all the reality shows include a rule that says that 'sharing the prize' isn't allowed. You never see anyone make a deal that says "if either of us win, let's split the proceeds" or "if you take me off the block (or vote / don't vote for me) I'll give you $50k if I win". The prize money is never part of the alliance negotiations. I think that must be because it's against the rules to give any of the money to any other player. I'm just guessing though. Does anyone know for sure?
As for Dick's win, until his closing speech, I actually thought that Dick's answers to jury - the way that he seemed to be intentionally pissing them off by not acknowledging that they did anything worthwhile - were intended to sway the votes to Danielle. I think he would have been just as happy, or happier, if she'd won. But Danielle, I think her true colors came out in the way she reacted when Zach started to win a few things. She was vicious in her comments. Whenever she and her dad were winning or voted someone out, it was all "just the game". But as soon as anyone else won anything, it became personal to her. Very immature. Very selfish. Very two-faced.
I was surprised though that Dick got as many votes as he did, considering what he said and did to so many people. 'Gameplay', I guess.

I loved seeing everyones face when eric was revealed as Americas player.
I hope Eric and Jess get married and have lots of babies...
-
As disgusting as Dick was, I was so glad the sniveling little brat, Danielle did not win. She really needs to get over herself!
Hopefully next year will be better.
