New Want To Play A Word Game

Okay Ronnie, I'm going with STARE cuz it has 5 letters.
I think there are many AREAS in Italy where I can buy something sexy and strappy!
-
maybe you can get a raise in your salary. Then you will be able to afford the sexy strappy shoes, and also fly first class to go get them. Enjoy your trip!
-
The flight to Italy is quite long so I am going to have a seat on the AISLE so that I can walk every hour or so without disturbing my DH.
-
oooh, wait for the shoe sales, then you can buy a bunch
-
I can't wait to get to Italy so I can gather up all kinds of tales to tell you when I return. O, and I fully intend to buy me a bunch of Italian leather shoes!!!!!!!
-
Red, hoping you start your vacation this time with a clean slate, no mis-haps like the last trip
-
Do you think you'll eat chicken piccata...or maybe they'll serve it with steak...as in veal...poor baby cows! Can I get a few woohoos for only using 5 letters!!!
-
Woohoo Ronnie, you were definitely on a six letter roll there.
I bought a purse with a chain handle so no one can STEAL my stuff. And 2TA, believe me, my dh's passport is traveling with me!!! No mishaps allowed.
-
Red, don't run out of steam getting ready for the trip
-
Maddy, I am trying to maintain a balance where practicality MEETS frivolous in my packing. And still leave room for souvenirs to come home with me.
-
I guess Red must be in Italy by now or at least about to leave. I hope it's not too hot by the time you get there ... unless you are a heat-lover. I'm one of those wimpy people whose brain melts down as soon as the temperature goes over 80 ... or since you'll be in Europe I maybe should say as soon as it tops 25. (Yeah I know 80 F is really 26.6666...C, but why split hairs?)
Anyway it's your vacation Red so you get to go whenever you want to. Bon voyage!
-
Something tells me you're right, curveball, and maybe she's going to regale us with Italian 5 letter words....maybe some that resemble English 4 letter words...we'll never know...LOL!!!!!
-
Hmmm, all this talk about Italy and suddenly there is a delicious smell of basil and garlic and oregano. It must be my imagination! Or maybe my subconscious mind is trying to tell me it's time to cook those raviolis I've been staring at in the freezer for the last two months ... with maybe some pesto, and kalamata olives, and roasted peppers ....
-
Curve, stop, you're making me hungry with that delicious image. Maybe if I had just a small amount it would be okay.
-
We had Italian last night for DH birthday and it wasn't all that good. So I'll swing by, pick you all up, and we'll go for fries & malts!
-
RonnieKay, how about patty melts with that?
-
2TA....you stole my secret!!! What could be better than patty melts, fries & malts...unless there was sauerkraut involved! Sounds like a trip to Germany...we could meet Red meet us there!
-
Well, have just a little bit!
I looked in my fridge today and my jar of roasted peppers has mold growing on top , so out they go. I've been having my groceries delivered recently and I guess it's time to place another order. Later in the year I'd be able to buy fresh peppers at a stall in the Farmer's Market. Not that I would, because then I'd have to roast and peel them myself. I'm much too lazy!
-
They just added a new Friday Farmer's Market at "The Landing" in Renton. We only had one on Tuesday before...who remembers shopping on Tuesday, unless someone brings the goodies to your door
. We had delivery when DH had a hip replacement...it was a blast!
-
or a ball, or balls?
-
Did you go there "with bells on"?
-
Absolutely not...there was a label saying no bells allowed! Might scare the veggies????
-
Let's set the table, I'm ready to eat
-
And while we eat, I'll tell you my favorite fable, even though they're always scary!
-
Ohhhhh, I like scary tales. Remember the one about the girl with the SABLE coat?
I'm baaaaaacckk!!!!
Italy was wonderful, gorgeous and fabulous. Worth every penny!!
Going to bed now cuz it is 535 am in my world. Nite nite.
-
Red, did the Pope bless you on this trip?
-
No but I did drink water blessed by Franciscan monks. I was a bit disappointed that I saw no SEALS on my trip, but I did see marble crocodiles!
-
Red...we want to hear about fantastic meals...we all had fake Italian food in your honor...please tell us yours was better!
-
Ronnie, surprisingly enough, no. Canadian Italian food is way better than Italian Italian food. Theirs is so bland. At LEAST in my humble opinion.
-
Then I will just feast on Olive Garden's soup & salad! Maybe I'll go to Greece...I love gyros!!!
