New Want To Play A Word Game
Comments
-
It's anyone's guess..
-
I want to be silly and say, so-sue me, but that wouldn't be right, would it? So what if I'm a guest in the neighborhood?
-
I GUESS that's true but I would still want to say sue me!
-
I know, this will seem left field, but my brain isn't working well today....
Need to to listen to the voices of the sages, "Can we all just get along?" (credit Rodney King, 22 years ago next month, a week or so before I got married. Had to go to LA area where the riots just happened/were happening, and I was scared beyond belief). What this has to do with anything, I have no clue........ File it under random thoughts.
-
I'm not sure what GAGES people use when they are telling us that everything is so much better now than then. I wish it was true, but I'm not sure that it is.
In my office, we have 1 newfie, 1 Italian, 1 English, 3 Asians, 2 Blacks, and 4 Whites (Canadian). We get along just fine. Why can't the rest of the world do the same?
-
sometimes I think the gauge is more about opinions: about ones someone has about themselves and then what they think of others
-
I agree with you and really in this day and age you would think we should be beyond that kind of thinking.
I wish I could garden, but things just haven't warmed up enough yet. I just want to GOUGE some furrows in the dirt and plant some seeds. Sigh.
-
and after a day of working hard, dressing up, complete with rouge and hair done, surely not to act like a rogue
-
No rogues here. Resist those urges you may feel to behave badly!
-
Absolutely Curve, when those 'I wanna be bad' ideas SURGE to rhw forefront, beat back with a big stick. Or join in, whichever. Lol
-
yes, let's all purge those "I wanna be bad" thoughts!
-
Or let's GROPE around and embrace each one.
-
like that idea, Rec, don't get enough embracing in my life. Lol! I could be roped into groping on a daily basis, sounds good to me!
-
hmmmmm (picture psychiatrist sitting at the end of your couch with a notebook)....how long have you had these desires? I think we need to probe your earliest memories to determine their origins.
-
-
and then plan a trip to the store
-
to buy a torte
-
You mean one of those multi-layer cakes with different kinds of frosting between the layers? What a treat!
-
or a tarte tatin
-
If we're doing all that we'd better START now!
-
2TA can begin by explaining what a tarte tatin is, otherwise I will just sit here and stare at my screen in puzzlement.
-
O I totally did that too Curve!!! What the heck is that? Did she make up some new TARTS just so that she could use that word. Lol just kidding.
-
-
Definitely NOT how smart!! Food-obsessed, maybe, smart, that would be a NO!
FYI: The tarte Tatin is an upside-down tart in which the fruit (usually apples) are caramelized in butter and sugar before the tart is baked
Have heard about them, have neither made or eaten them, but sounds great to me! It would probably be a good treat. (has fruit so it has to be healthy?)
Saw this and thought of Miss Moo (please excuse the bad word)
-
-
If you'll all come to my house, I will GREET you at the door with all the treats you can eat. ;-)
-
We are eager to arrive..
-
I would WAGER that I have more than enough for all.
-
Great!
-
There has to be a penalty for a one word post! Although it was pretty brilliant Onco!
Today we are still praying for little Gage. It TEARS me up inside to think of what my cousin's family is going through. Sigh.
