It takes the special person that to feed the homeless.  Shower the critters of this earth with

    love and devotion.

You know who you are and I applaud you with heartfelt gratitude.

    New Page. So *

Oh, the comfort the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person...

having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words but pouring them all out just as they are

chaff and grain together * certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them

keep what is worth keeping, and with a breath of kindness blow the rest away.

    REFLECTIONS

There are many things in life that give way to times of reflection - the loss of a loved one is one of those times.

Reflection about the events involved, reflection of the life lost, reflection about changes we would make if we could go back in time or what we want to change from this point on.

There have been many times of reflection over these past months and years.

Some reflections are still taking form in our hearts; others can be put into words.

We will never be the same again.

Things that seemed so important have suddenly taken a backseat to the truly important things of life.

People and relationships are at the forefront of our thoughts. They are what matters most.

Time together is precious and of high value.

There is no way to describe the importance of words of encouragement and endearment.

Words like I love you.' ''m proud of you.' You're special to me.' Thank you for the way you touch my life.

Words we often hold within our hearts and don't say for some reason.

Time together is never time wasted. Family get togethers.  Vacations. Walks.

Courage and grace. One step at a time on this road.

God brings someone or something special our way to bring hope.

In the middle of the storm we will still praise God.

While we don't understand right now, we know we can trust Him.

    Choosing Hope

Like a speed bump in the drive threw, A decisions

lies in our path, Placed by God to remind us of hope

is a choice. Choosing to live as people of hope is not

to diminish or belittle pain and suffering or lie about

evil's reality. Rather it is to cling to God's promise

that He will make all things new.

    Earth teach me stillness

as the grasses are stilled with light

    Earth teach me suffering

as old stones suffer with memory.

    Earth teach me humility

as blossoms are humble with beginning

    Earth Teach me caring

as the mother who secures her young

    Earth teach me courage

as the tree which stands alone

    Earth teach me limitation

as the ant which crawls on the ground

    Earth teach me freedom

as the eagle which soars in the sky

    Earth teach me resignation

as the leaves which die in the fall

    Earth teach me regeneration

as the seed which rises in the spring

Earth teach me to forget myself

as melted snow forgets its life

Earth teach me to remember kindness

as dry fields weep in the rain.

Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
    Some blunders and absurdities
    no doubt have crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
    Tomorrow is a new day;
    begin it well and serenely
and with too high a spirit
    to be cumbered with
    your old nonsense.

This day is all that is
    good and fair.
    It is too dear,
    with its hopes and invitations,
to waste a moment on yesterdays.

I think over again my small
    adventures
My fears, those small ones that
    seemed so big,
    For all the vital things
I had to get and reach.
And yet there is only one great thing,
    The only thing,
To live to see the great day that
    dawns
And the light that fills the world...

Worth Repeating Over and Over again.

15 Things To Think About *

    1. At least 5 people in this world love you so much they would die for you.
    2. At least 15 other people in this world love you in some way.
    3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be
    just like you.
    4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like
    you.
    5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
    6. You mean the world to someone.
    7. If not for you, someone may not be living.
    8. You are special and unique.
    9. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.
    10. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.
    11. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look; you
most likely turned your back on the world.
    12. When you think you have no chance of getting what you want, you probably
won't get it, but if you believe in yourself, probably, sooner >or later,
    you will get it.
    13. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude
    remarks.
    14. Always tell someone how you feel about them; you will feel much better
    when they know.
    15. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they are
great. They say a minute it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour
to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget
    them.

Take the time... to live and love.

you'll miss them when they're gone from your life."

                                       When I Die

When I die sing no sad song for me and cry no

tears for you see, My death will be kind of a

pleasure for me, cause there will be no more pain

    I will be set free!

Dont stand by my grave and wonder why, Why

this person had to die. Cause I will be with my

love ones in heaven you see and Oh how happy

I will be.      By Debbie  (wrote when dad passed)

So true, and it is so heartbreaking when you think you have a friend and then they just quit communicating with you.  I like people who come into my life to stay in it.  The true ones that stay are worth a million and it is a million little things.

Life's too short to sit around
    And moan about what's wrong,
From these actions comes the sound
    Of such a plaintive song.

So let us change the tune and try
    To banish fear and doubt,
And orchestrate as time goes by
    There's much to sing about...

Life at any time can become difficult.

Life at any time can become easy.

It all depends upon how you adjust yourself to life.

You cannot always control your circumstances.

But you can always think positive thoughts.

The realities of life result from many outside factors, none of which you can control.

Your attitude, however, reflects the way in which you evaluate what's happening to you.

It is not your situation, it's your reaction to the situation that's important.

Things always seem to turn out best for those people who can make the best out of the way things turn out.

There is nothing either good or bad, only your thinking makes it so.

    Unknown.

This is a beautiful day, filled with tremendous positive possibilities.

And you can make it even better.

Be a source of joy today, and you can make the world a better place.

Be a source of joy today, and experience how great it feels.

Take those things that normally would annoy you, and simply laugh them off.

Then overwhelm them with your own joyful smile, kind words and thoughtful actions.

Do something helpful just because it feels so good and so right.

Put a smile on your face, in your voice and in your thoughts, and watch as your joyful

    expression spreads far beyond you.

Whatever you may be doing, make the decision to truly and fully enjoy it.

You'll be amazed at how quickly others will pick up on your joy and return it to you in

    even greater measure.

Fill your heart with joy by filling the world with joy.

Be a source of joy today, and experience life at its best.

    Ralph Marston
