An exerpt from her wonderful book "Pilgrim at Tinker Creek" Annie Dillard writes:
There is always the temptation in life to diddle around making itsy-bitsy friends and meals and journeys for years on end. It is all so self-conscious, so apparently moral!But I wont have it. The world is wilder than that in all directions, more dangerous,more extravagant and bright. We are raising tomatoes when we should be raising Cain, or Lazarus.
Love and warm thoughts.MJB -
If there was ever a time to dare,
to make a difference,
to embark on something worth doing,
It is now.
Not for any grand cause, necessarily...
but
for something that tugs at your heart,
something thats your inspiration,
something thats your dream.

Build a little fence
of trust
Around today;
Fill the space with loving work,
And therein stay;
Look not through the sheltering
bars
Upon tomorrow;
God will help thee bear what
comes
Of joy or sorrow.
--Mary Frances Butts (1836 - 1902) -

God has been so good to me throughout this treatment process. I have learned many lessons, and I am sure will continue to. God Bless you!
