THANKS TO GOD

Hello God,
I call tonight
To talk a little while
I need a friend who'll listen
To my anxiety and trial.
You see, I can't quite make it
Through a day just on my own...
I need your love to guide me,
So I'll never feel alone.
I want to ask you please to keep
My family safe and sound.
Come and fill their lives with confidence
For whatever fate they're bound.
Give me faith, dear God, to face
Each hour throughout the day,
And not to worry over things
I can't change in any way.
I thank you God for being home
And listening to my call.
For giving me such good advise
When I stumble and fall.
Your number, God, is the only one
That answers every time.
I never get a busy signal,
Never had to pay a dime.
So thank you, God, for listening
To my troubles and my sorrow.

Lord, sometimes
I get hung up on
getting everything completed that I forget
what is really important.

that everyone else needs.
People don't have any

machine take my calls.

Help me to remember that
I will never be able to get
everything accomplished
at one time. Heal me of this workaholic drive.

Father , You know
how I've been struggling
frightened and fearful.
But this morning
I was awakened
early. A bird was
singing outside my
bedroom window.

A gentle rain
began to fall,

to snuggle in.

Soon the rain
pelted down,
but the bird kept singing.
Harder and harder,
it poured,
and the bird kept singing.

The thunder clapped,
louder and louder,
but the bird kept singing.

The winds picked up speed,
and the bird kept singing.

It was truly a terrible storm,
but still the bird sang.

Father, it was then
I realized
that You had sent the
songbird for me.
It was Your melody
of love, a lesson
and a comfort.
It was you , revealing

You were telling

way through the
storm in my life

lift up my eyes
and praise You.

The Praying Hands

The "Praying Hands" are much, much more
than just a work of art,
They are the "soul's creation"
of a deeply thankful heart-
They are a Priceless Masterpiece

HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT

There is never a day so dreary

PRAYER FOR COURAGE


Dear God , I have no idea where I am going . I do not see the road ahead of me . I cannot know for certain where it will end, and the fact that I think I am following your will does not mean that I am actually doing so . But I believe this:
I believe the desire to please you does in fact please you.I hope I have that desire in everything I do , I hope I do not do anything apart from that desire. I know that if I do this you will be beside me on the right road though I may know nothing about it at the time . Therefore I will trust you always though I may seem to be lost , and in the shadow of death, I am not afraid because you are with me and will not leave me to face my troubles alone.
Thank you God for all you have given me , for all you have taken from me, for all you have left with me and for all that is yet to come. Amen

IN LITTLE THINGS

Many problems are smaller
than king-size,

My thoughts are with any new member who joined the boards today.We pray for them as they come to terms with this challenge.We pray for our sisters under-going treatment , under-going surgery or any diagnostic testing.We pray for our sister suffering mentally or physically and most of all Lord we pray that our sisters meet today with faith,hope,peace of mine and the belief in miracles.

Instructions for living

Tonight My Special prayer is for April who is facing some heavy challenges:

We beseech thee, Almighty God mercifully to look upon April thy servant; that by thy great goodness she may be governed and preserved evermore , both in body and soul; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Special prayers go out to anyone having surgery,chemo,test,waiting for test results,newly diagnosed,anyone with advanced cancer,mets, or anyone who is having a rough day,and feeling just down and out.
