Hi Ladies,
Sorry I've been MIA, but I think of you all often. So happy that a few of you are facebook friends.
Shirl - I hope Walt is recovering.
Brenda - So sorry to hear about your mets. Thinking of you....
Question to all of you - I never had areola tattooing after reconstruction and now, almost 7 years later, I am thinking about it. Does anyone know of someone who does this? And do you know if it should be covered by insurance?
Thanks! -
3boys4me,
The tattooing is supposed to be covered by ins. They will usually refuse it on the first go round...
Check pinkinkproject.com for folks in your area that do this. V -
Hi Ladies! I live in Corona, met wonderful, sweet HBCheryl a couple of weeks ago and she suggested I check out this thread. She was talking about the get togethers and what a great bunch you are. It's taken me a while to read the entire thread (please, no quizzes though) and from what I've read, she's right! Sisters in this journey we're all on, brought together by BCO. As you can see, I'm not new to BC myself. Would love to be included in the invites if you accept those from the IE (I went to SDSU a hundred years ago, does that help?).
It was wonderful having the photos to match names and faces. -
Hello there and welcome..I have no idea when our next lunch will be. any suggestions? we usually meet for lunch on a Sunday at the Miramar Cafe..anyone up for the 27th of October? -
I'm game. Have colonoscopy scheduled for the next day; but since Tom will be working and Deborah won't be able to shuttle me either, I need to change the date.
Funny. On my way home tonight I was thinking that it's been months and I miss our get togethers - I was going to ask the same question. -
I have a friend coming in from Australia on the 26th but I'm sure she won't mind if I disappear for a few hours -
bring her along
-
Hi gals, Walt is doing well., he is home and I think we need to get together before the holidays begin to dominate our lives! Oh, Walt and I will celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 30th. YEAH Lisa, the 27th works well for me.
Gentle hugs, Shirlann
