What are ya gonna do this week-end?

Christine - I never ever would tell!!! I'm just trying to hold to the fact that in '68 (I think) the Tigers were down 3 games and came back to win it all. But, honestly, how many times can that happen???? If our pitchers would stop making their throwing errors, that might help too. Oh well, it's just a game, right!!?? (But I still want the Tigers to win) HA!!
Have a great weekend, Christine.
Pat -
OK! Pretty good week-end coming up. Just carved my pumpkin and have a great picture to watch from netflix.
Going to a halloween party tomorrow. I still dont know what Im gonna be lol.
Then Sunday, watch football.
Nicki -
GOING TO SEE THE GATORS WHOOP THE BULLDOGS CHOMP CHOMP
-
I am going to Cherokee with DH for a day at Harrah's! Then we are coming back home across the mountain in time to see the VOLS play. GO VOLS!!!
-
I'm spending tonight and tomorrow with 2 of my granddaughter -- Hannah (3 1/2) and Madison (22 months) and Sunday I am leaving on a cruise for the Caribbean with my dh for one whole week of fun in the sun!!!
xoxo, Sue -
Christine:
Just wanted to offer my congratulations on the Cardnials' victory last night. They definitely were the better team in this series and deserved to win. On that note, I'll just have to say "Wait until next year."
Enjoy the fun and celebrations!!
Pat -
Thanks Pat- in th beginning of the Series, I said I was praying for a miracle. We went into it as the underdogs, altough we have a great organization, but we had a terrible last month of the season. Our hurt players, healed. Our rookies, grew up and we pulled it off. We played the Red Wings in hockey tonight, I don't think we won?
-
I took another cooking class. I love it! I do it everyother weekend while my daughter is at her fathers house. this one was a basics class but I had fun.
-
Hey Christine - the Red Wings usually have a good team, but there have been so many changes in the past two years with player personnel that I'm not sure how good they are anymore. We really hated to see Stevie Izerman retire but it really was about time. Not sure who won last night but I guess I'm going to go into my hockey mode now since the Tigers are 'retired' for the season. Have a great week - I'm going to go to Milwaukee/Chicago to see my kids and grandkids. Should be fun.
Pat -
Hey Sue have a great time(jealous!) soak up that sun(with sunscreen of course)
was nice meeting with you and theresa for lunch, hope to do it again soon!
6 month check up was good........a little nerve racking but ok!
going out to dinner with 4 couples for a friends 40th B-day! and not a thing on Sunday....been out too much.I am sure hubby will find some football to watch(EAGLES). If they are playing(can you tell I am not a football fan)
peace Michele -
I am getting my flu shot tomorrow, if no side effects I am going shopping this weekend. I need to buy some new clothes! I have finally lost so much weight that my jeans fall off of me without even undoing my zipper!
I also need to help my son apartment shop! He has accumulated so much furniture that I am running out of room to store it. I told him to try and get his furniture while he was living with me but I didn't expect him to furnish his whole place!
LuAnn -
Michelle, you look beautiful, even my sons commented on it.And no Eagles this weekend. But probably the Lousy Flyers will try to skate again.
I'm heading to the beach to have a mini thanksgiving with my girlfriend's and my family and close the house.
The men will fish, we will shop and then drink by their fireplace. Life is good right now. (except for Philly sports)
Enjoy a wonderful and happy (I hope) for everyone.xoxo -
Well if its warm enough to be outside, Im gonna clear all my flowers that are no longer blooming cause of the frost. Then gonna plant some tulip bulbs. This year Im gonna put netting on top of the ground. Last year, the squirrels dug up and ate all of my tulp bulbs.
Plan on working on a craft. Making presents for the Holidays. Cant afford this whole thing. My family is ridiculous. Not only my husbands sisters, but now all the neices and nephews with all of their children. Its gotten out of hand. I want a grab bag or something!! Im doing plastic canvas, but its not like crocheting. Its taking a long time to finish one project. Last year I made 24 hats and scarves - now thats no lie. Will never complete 24 plastic canvas projects.
Sunday, it will be football, football, football.
Nicki -

Nicki, are you making one craft or a lot of different ones? Last year I made no-sew fleece blankets but I don't think I have the energy to make anything this year. Do you all get together at Thanksgiving so you can draw names? Maybe buy for the kids and then one for the name you draw - it does get ridiculous.
I'm in the medic wagon this weekend - finally feeling better so tomorrow afternoon have to go to a memorial service for my girlfriend's brother - didn't know him but am going to support her.
Margaret -
Theresa and Michele,
It was great seeing both of you and we've got to do it again soon.
The cruise was fabulous!!! We were on Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas -- the largest ship in the ocean -- miniture golf, rock climbing wall, basketball court, lotsa swimming pools, a shopping mall (just what I needed - LOL), loads of bars and discos and an ice skating rink (we actually saw a professional ice skating show). We also saw the Platters one night.
In St. Thomas we shopped til I dropped and then went to Megan's Bay (one of the ten top beaches in the world) and in St. Martin we rented a car (which kept me out of the stores) and drove around the whole island. The week too fast.
We got home last night and today I went for my bone scan so now I have to do the waiting game . . .
Hope everyone had a good last week and a heppy and healthy this week.
xoxo, Sue -
We are going to be babysitting our twin grand daughters on Sat. They are 2 1/2 and a real handful, but we love them to death!
Then on Sun......FOOTBALL!!!! I am hoping my Eagles can finally pull off a win. Even when they do bad, I watch every game!! -
VEGAS- meeting some of the others from this board and some chatters. Wish were you were all joining us!
-
This weekend, I am going to celebrate
-
djd---

Except on these boards. Send lots of pictures.xoxo
Michele...I also have a wedding but outside of Boston. Flying up with my mother Friday am.
Jan...Fingers crossed for Sunday....I can't really handle another Philly loss. Sixers lost last night and I'm not even going there with the Flyers...
Yeah. Sue's back...probably all tan, I hate you already. Call me.xoxo -
Leaving tomorrow for VEGAS--gonna get to meet Christine and some others! I'm sure there will be pictures to share--but, NO stories--LOL--ahhhh, my favorite get-together story was in Tahoe a little over a year ago.......someone was playing slots and thought they had their players card inserted--but, it was their room card! I still get a huge chuckle out of that one--I'd get whupped upside the head, but she's 1,000 miles or more away from me!
All, have a great week-end--we'll be missing you!
hugggssssss. junie -
Oh my, sounds like your gonna have some great fun in Vegas. Make sure to get lots of pictures.
Margaret: Im making presents for everyone. Last year made 25 hats and scarves. This year Im doing plastic canvas - much slower than crocheting!
I feel so bad for your friends brother. I dont remember you telling us about him. What happened? So nice you will be there to support your friend. Grab bag? Oh this Irish/Italian family will have nothing to do with that!! And its alrady November 9th so I better get a move on with making these presents.
This week-end is gonna be another one where I just relax. Watch football, even if the Bears were so disgusting last week.
Nicki -
To all the girls going to Vegas -- have a blast! LV is my home away from home. My very best friend (since we were 10 yrs old) lives in Henderson and since her dh won't fly, we go about 2x a year. We'll be there 1/20/07 - 1/27/07. Can't wait.
Theresa, Don't hate me -- no tan. Remember, I just finished rads and was being good -- did shopping instead.
Michele, You look great and got me motivated! I started with my personal trainer today and probably will not be able to walk tomorrow. I'm seeing him 3x a week and starting weight watchers on Monday.
I'm going to a mahjongg tournament this weekend at the Jersey Shore (Seaview Marriott in Absecon) and hoping to win some $$$.
xoxo, Sue -
Hope the Vegas trip is fantastic!!!
My BIL gets in tomorrow night from Iraq so we're going to Joplin to welcome them home then going out Saturday night for a welcome home party.
Have foorball games tomorrow night (HS playoffs) and Saturday afternoon (PSU) then of course the Chiefs on Sunday.
Other than that, I'll be wishing I was in Vegas.... -
Weekend already....time sure flies! We got the house rearranged, my son and his girlfriend are now living we me and they are expecting a baby. I will be finishing off the cleaning they didn't do when they moved all the rooms around. Then I have to work, been slacking too much lately that I am ending up working on weekends
Sunday though, it is football, football and more football!
LuAnn -
So far the week-end has been great. Just relaxing at home, working on crafts (making presents for Christmas) and of course, today - watching football.
Nicki -
I went out shopping yesterday, first day I got out of the house in a week and am paying dearly for that little excursion. I am grounded to the couch with my heating pad and pain pills. Can't move my knee again! Oh well, I needed to sit on the couch and watch football anyway today, right?!
