    Good morning all,

Can't wait to see more Pinkstock pictures and hear more stories. It looks and sounds like it was just amazing.

Vicki - love the new avatar, and thanks for thinking of me. I was AWOL from the boards this weekend, but just read and got caught up on the circle. Glad to hear you and Nate had such a good time at Pinkstock!!

Nicki - Thanks for thinking of me, it means so much to me to know I have you looking out for me. Sounds like you had a pretty good weekend. I know that kind of licorice I think, my grandmother always had it at her house. Brightly colored squares and black squares that look like little cubes or sandwiches right? Have a great day today.

Charlene - Marsha - congrats on finishing rads!!!

    A to Z - Happy Monday!

Morning all, I get computer time this week with no boot camp.

Vickie, I can see you with a broom and a flyswatter!!!! And yes, I signed up for another session of boot camp. I think I missed the story behind your new avatar. Oh, now I see it. A birthday party - how fun.

Karen, glad you were able to have some special time with Craig. Did I ask you before what kind of work he does since he is up here a lot?

G, I'm sorry you are having such a rough time. I'm counting the days until October for you.

Pam, do not be sad that Miles is moving - means you've done your job well and prepared him for the real world. I'm afraid that I haven't done that well with my son, as he has no intention of leaving although he says he is all the time.

Peter, thanks for the coffee and the joke this morning. Sleep tight.

Who was it that asked about EachDay? She isn't Sherry or designing_diva - I don't know where I was but I don't remember either of them. EachDay is another of the women around here who have a way with words and I enjoy reading her posts.

Nicki, they never mentioned rads to me either with a bilateral. I can only trust my drs. know their stuff, just like tamoxifen. I don't have any hot flashes or symptoms and I'm reading on the boards that supposedly if you don't have side effects it means that tamoxifen isn't working. I didn't have side effects with chemo either. Comforting thought that maybe my treatment didnt work. Have to get that thought out of my head.

Kristin, good luck the new job today. That's funny about the teenage years, had not heard that before but it's oh so true.

Jankay, first day of high school, I remember that day. These four years will fly by for her.

Cheri, did I miss a post from you?

Hugs to all from Amy to Z. Back later.

    Margaret

Good morning Jankay, thanks so much for the phone call this weekend to check on me. It is very comforting to know you are there and thinking of me when I am down. Either way (happy or sad)I enjoy our conversations. Marsha

Nicki -- I'm with you! I set up a myspace account the same day it was on the news that myspace had just deleted 29,000 sex offender accounts from the site. I decided I had more than enough to keep track off with the boards and my yahoo IM account. The only thing that myspace seemed to offer that I can't do with email and IM is a blog and I'm not interested in blogging. I just don't have the time.

Marsha -- your box was a riot! I love the Spamalot songs. Denise's husband played them on his truck cd player while we sat around the campfire. Nobody told me there was going to be a test at the end of Pinkstock and I didn't take notes. We got most of the answers to your quiz right though. I didn't understand the jar of pink goop. I tried to make it fart but I guess I was just all 'farted' out.

Well Im showered, dressed and just hanging about, waiting until its time for me to leave. Dont have to be there til 9:30am so I have lots of unexpected time this morning.

I have learned to make a new morning drink. Husband accidently bought me Hazelnut flavored creamer. So whats left of my coffee Im pooring over ice. Iced coffee does seem to be the trend lately and this is tasting pretty darn good. Think I will go out and get a new cup with a cover for cold things.

Marhsa: This meeting this morning is going to be a real family affair. My aunt Camille is not related by blood. She married my uncle gus who is my moms brother. She had breast cancer 17 years ago. So why do I feel anxiety starting to settle in my stomach?

Pink Goop? Now what in the heck is that? Sounds interesting.

Jasmine: Its nice to see your posts in the morning again. I sure did miss ya.

OK! I think its time for me to leave. Hoping eveyrone has an absolutely fantastic day. Going to this meeting without any makeup on - so I better come outta there looking better than I do right now.

Good Morning from the mountains of New York..

Liz and I are ready to head out to Buffalo to catch our planes (which may be hard since they do go fast)...anyway

have a GREAT day all and we will check in on the Blackberry (a/k/a Blueberry) as we make our way to Buffalo. I can't take MB's pole to get reception, so I am hoping I can get a signal.

    Liz and Madison
(and we hope without Casino Girl and Crazy Bob)

    Good Morning to all!!

Vicki, loved the new picture and the story behind it. What a celebration for your birthday - no wonder you got emotional on everyone.

    Jasmine, welcome home.

MB - from one not at Pinkstock - Thank You!! From all the sisters there you can hear in the words they write and the pictures taken that you made a thread come to life; it brought the kind of friendship and laughter and caring that Gina felt was needed when the circle thread was started. You deserve a well earned rest. Just wanted to say Thank you for what I can FEEL here - the girls at the campfire truly came to life.

Shirley, you are still with your sister. How very special that must be for her. If I have a bat in my house, I'll give you a call. I'm with Vicki - I automatically think RABIES !!!

Karen, so very thankful you enjoyed your time in NY. You can tell in your voice/words also that things look brighter - sometimes we just need to get away. Enjoy your week.

Marsha, Angel, Jankay, Puppy, Robin, Gina, sending wishes for a good week.

To add my thoughts: Jasmine, you explained the position of BCO well - I remember when lots of that stuff was happening and it caused problems all over the board. Nicki, I don't think anyone wants controversy here; we all love this circle to much. Peter, no crime- except maybe with BCO.
I remember Sherry/Designing Diva/Itiswhatitis. There were lots of us disappointed when Designing Diva left - because of all the ill will on the boards at that time and she felt it best to leave - she was kind to many including me. I haven't been back long but I have read Everyday's postings and the writings and thoughts sound similar to Sherry; she posted about cancer walks in Canada; had boys - lots were similar. The thought crossed my mind too. Does it matter in the scheme of things - only that I think Sherry/Designing Diva would have been very welcome without a different name. Just go in and change your old name to your new one - no one would have thought a thing about that as many have done that. It is best to get these things settled before they create havoc. I would think though that with the new system implemented BCO would have a mechanism they could see exactly where the post are coming from and IF they are the address given, etc. and find folks using many different names - it would sure save lots of problems.

Nicki, besides makeup what all does this program teach. It sounds really good. After this weekend, I am seriously trying WW again - I seem to do best there and I have gone back to the flex plan. We'll see; I'm gonna try

To all my other friends and sisters - have a wonderful week. It is hot already here this morning; no rain in site all week. A small town in the NC mountains called Spruce Pine apparently had lots of fires this weekend and destroyed much of the downtown area including their old depot - what a tragic loss. They feel the fires were arson. Three on Sat and three more on Sunday morning. The town is closed for visitors and they depend so much on visitors during the summer months. Not far from our place.

Good morning...it is so nice to have a bunch of new posts to read. Vickie, Jan and Jasmine, I'm glad you made it home safe.

Liz and Madison, have a safe trip home. I'm jealous that you had extra time with Casino Girl and Crazy Bob!

MB, what are you doing up at 6am? You should be wiped out after all you did this weekend!

Marsha, I love the Monty Python songs and sang them loudly! I also attempted to amplify the sounds of the pink goop with a PA/siren hat that Casino Girl gave me to wear. I'm sure it will all be on YouTube once CY gets home!

Nicki, if you are nervous about MySpace, you can set your account to be private and only the people you have added to your friends list will be able to see your page.

Margaret, more bootcamp?! You go girl!

Colleen, we took the Mass Pike to get to Pinkstock and I was thinking of you! I hope that you are doing OK.

Vickie, I didn't realize that your ex had broken your doll. Man, now I am crying again...

Jasmine, I had to leave early yesterday morning, so I never got to say goodbye to you. It was so great to meet you!

Z, I loved your dedication and it is going on the front page of a Pinkstock scrapbook that I am going to make.

Jankay, my baby is heading off to first grade in the fall and I'm a nervous wreck about him taking the bus. I hope your daughter had a great day at school.

I'm off with the kids again! I'll check back later.

Love you all, from A to Z!

You know growing up my Dad taught me this very important lesson:

"No matter what I had done to get in trouble, the LIE about it will be worse."

No it is not a crime, just deceitful. That is why BCO does not allow multiple accounts. I'm not saying anyone on the circle is doing this, but some are defending the right to do it and I do disagree with that.

Guz -- I very much enjoyed meeting you as well and I hope to see you again next year at the next circle gathering!

Fabulous Ms. Z -- I brought home the pink card that was passed out at the campfire and you have a wonderful way with words. You are a treasured member of the circle.

All of you old timers will remember the kerfuffle that was made when a beloved poster had many names.
In fact, that is when I got to know the poster we are discussing today.
I like her and liked her posts and emails. I was sad when she asked the mods to remove her name and become "anonymous" - I have to ask you Peter, her posts under her name no longer exist. How were you able to read them?

    All that doesn't matter.

She is a wonderful writer and a breast cancer sister.
After all this entire board has been through with this sort of thing, I ask that she just sign her posts with her new login name as herself and we can move forward.

Speaking of moving forward- I am late for the onc.

    See ya later.

    Love you all,

Sue - You just brought tears to my eyes, I can't tell you how much it means to me to know that I was in your thoughts as you passed through MA. You know how you just get emotional sometimes right? LOL

Speaking of emotional, I'm off to pick Warren up at Hartford airport and drive him to his Dad's and stepmom's beach house in CT. I don't really have time to do it, but worked yesterday and will work extra tomorrow to make up for it. We both decided that we didn't want to go another whole week without seeing each other if we could avoid it.

I know I will be bawling my eyes out when I see him, but the good kind of crying.

    Love to you all

    Good morning CG's

Its 9:30 here in Denver and still waiting for my college girl Leah to get her hind end out of bed so we can do something for the day. I have today and tomorrow, then I go visit my folks for a couple days and next week I am back to work. I am just not used to waiting around. Miriam is always up early. Forget Noah - he stays up late and sleeps all day (unless he is working), but generally we don't hang out together!!!!
You gals are just the sweetest!!! Oh how greatful I am for this sisterhood (and one brother). I am feeling better - thanks to the Effexor and time alone with Craig. I'm so glad you could see that through my words. I just hope it keeps up, but then again, I know its just one day at a time.

Nicki - enjoy the Look Good, Feel Good. How fun to do it with your sister. Hope it is enjoyable with your aunt being the leader. I attended one after my mastectomy and I still have some makeup left. I'm not sure that I am any better with putting it on than before, but it was sure nice being treated to pampering at such a hard time. ENJOY!!!
REgarding rads - I was told by my onc and BS that rads were dependent on the number of positive nodes. Going into my mastectomy we already knew I had node involvement. 4 was the magic number - more than 4 positive nodes and rads. So I got the whole "blue plate special" as I called it - bilat, chemo, rads, ooph, AI's!!!!
NS- My dear sweetie. How are you feeling. Good luck at the onc today (its not more chemmo is it). Is the leaky expander still hurting?
Jankay -good luck to you and DD starting high school. Schools hear don't start for 2 m ore weeks, which is still too early for me!! - but thats because I work in the schools and I have to go back next week!!
MArgaret - Craig is a sales rep for an artist supply complany and his biggest account is in the San Fran area.
MArsha - I will post the pics from Israel as soon as I figure out how to do it. I did open up a photobucket account and now just need to figure out how to use it. We printed ovdr 500 pics - thank goodness they were only 10 cents/each.
Wishing all the sisters from A to Z and Peter a good day. Will be back tonight. Hugs from Denver, Karen

Yep Shokk you beat me this morning. I couldnt get my butt in gear this morning. I dont think I stopped all weekend long.

Nicki-have fun at the look good feel better program. I never did that but always wanted to.

Madison-1 question I have to ask you honey....Do you always dress up? I swear you are camping for goodness sakes,,where are your camping clothes?

Vickie-pics are great,,thanks for posting and so glad you got to have a birthday party.

NS-a big thank you to you.

MB-I checked with UPS this morning and my box did not make it to you all. You will be getting it on Tuesday it appears so enjoy,,lol. Cant really get to the bottom of what happened but I know I am getting gift cards from the place I ordered from for the mistake.

Karen so glad you enjoyed your alone time with your husband. Sounds like you all had a great time.

Eachday-didnt see a weekend post from you. Be sure to stop by and chat.

Gus-so do tell,,how much can you drink? We would be dangerous together!

Marsha-congrats on the end of rads. Thats a reason to celebrate when you have the energy.

Colleen-drive safe to Hartford. That is where we fly into visiting SO's family.

Brenda-Its hot here also and stating on the news unless you have to be out to stay inside. Predicting 100 or more today with heat index of 107. Summer in the south,,,waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Cheri-so pinkstock 08 at your place huh? I know its hard to get a date for everybody but August is too close to school starting back for me but then you get to July and lots of vacations going on around the 4th so who knows.

Ok now the big news. Peanut is a new mommie. She didnt listen to me and had 3 instead of 1 but they are the cutest little things. 2 boys and 1 girl. 1 boy is the biggest and the other boy is the runt. I will get better pics on here but heres to quick ones taken with my phone. She is being the best little mother. So far she doesnt want to get up away from them so I hold her venison burgers and roast on a plate for her to eat so she doesnt have to get up. She also has her eukanuba for her dry and her wet eukanuba food if she wants it. Shes little so needs alot to feed 3.

ok you all think about me tomorrow. SO and myself taking Tucker to the Projekt Revolution tour in Atlanta. Starts at 12:45 in the afternoon and no telling when it will end. Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, HIM, Taking Back Sunday, Mindless self Indulgence, Placebo, The bled, Styles of Beyond. Supposed to be 12 bands, 2 stages. It is Tuckers first concert and he is so excited. He loves My Chemical Romance and SO bought him the tickets for his birthday.

    Cheryl,

Yes she made her own nesting place. In fact she made several but picked one I did not know about. She went under the bed and pulled a blanket down from the corner and worked and pulled till she got it curled around along with the comforter, hollowed it out like a tent and gave birth. So much for the nice box I had set up for her huh? She is in it now after I picked them up and put them all in it and she is happy as she can be in it. I guess she wanted more seclusion that a box?!? Anyway, all are doing well and happy and safe in their own lil comfy box. Right now they only have nicknames. Runty for being the runt, Bubba or Bruiser for being the biggest one and he has mascara looking eyes and then we have lil baby girl that has been called mocha but who knows what they will end up being called. We have also called her pinky cause she has the pinkest nose and feet.
