Deb - I LOVE that song. I posted it elsewhere on the boards but I can't remember where! It really speaks to me and I love her way with words.
Hugs

Morning shift has arrived. A little tired from all the travelling yesterday. I glad its over and everyone is home safe and sound.
Just started a new campfire. And oh the glow and warmth is amazing. Im seeing sparks fly into the air. Each one reminds me of healing light. Going up into the heavens. It actually is quite beautiful. And its quiet. Very quiet. A good time to sip my coffee and just reflect.
Karen: Hope tonight was peaceful. I feel your spirit here with me. Actually brought in another wagon. It the healing light wagon. Its the wagon that is illuminated. Healing light and soft music. Prayers for you to be pain free and peace. And oh the little one, we are strong here and will comfort him. I remember many years ago, being that young and losing my dad. So I will whisper sweet sounds into his ear. Ah gee. God bless Karen and her family.
Dear sweet Peggy. I had no idea about the rads. Im so glad you are done. Another milestone! And the nipple lol. You can swing it by me. I have forgotten what boob look like with nipples.
My older sister and I had the same surgery. She is the conservative one. Im thing wild one. She got saline. I got gummy bears. So far we cant tell the difference.
Not ready for breakfast quite yet. Will just sit here and sip my coffee and think about all the wonderful people in this circle. Thankful so many of you had good news.
Be back in a bit.
Nicki -
Oh ladies and gents - this indeed is a beautiful day. I decided to go for a walk. Found the lake and the sun glowed as it was rising. Over the lake. And the surrounding trees - well they still were moist from the dew, and the sun made them a glistening pinkish orange. Ah yes, to appreciate the little things in life.
On my way back, I picked some fresh blueberries. So this morning, its flap jacks smothered with fress blueberries. And for me - now on south beach - Im having blueberries and creme.
And now, my shift ends - time to put on my cowgirl outfit and join the ranchers for a day of work. Good morning to all. Will touch base later.
Nicki -
Nicki, I brought whole wheat batter so you can enjoy also.
Did you hear the geese flying by this morning making all of that noise? Hope it didn't wake everyone who had a tough night up. Sleep sisters and better dreams.
Today I want to hike up the next ridge for some exercise (too much food). Maybe get some kayaking in on this beautiful lake.
Wonderful news for Jeannie, and Peggy finishing rads.
Karen so glad it seems your family will be togeather.
Heard that there's a dance in town tonight, have to put on my Sunday best to be ready....I think Peggy's stripper is starring. -
Ok back on shift , hopefully to make brunch for the late sleepers, a few screaming pigs, a little gourmet dish from the son's menu box, shhhh dont tell him I was sneaking in....PS rhymee, I love purple ponies...what a great regal color to pick....Nicki, how bout some light cream for those blueberries......be well all, stay strong and the candles will be buring....MB

We are with you today Vickie! I am so psyched that your onc lets us bring the Chocolate Fountain to your appointments!
Debby and Wendy- we have plenty of horses to choose from- just coem down to the corral and pick one out! -
Good morning everyone or should I say afternoon. I had work to do this morning around my wagon and just now making my way down to the fire. The coolness in the air was such a delight to wake up to. I almost pulled the blankets up on me to settle back in but decided a womans work is never done. I have taken the shovel and taken care of everyones horse business and we have quite a pile of fertilizer building up. I also brought up fresh water for all the horses so everyone relax and set by the fire because the morning chores are complete. Sit back, relax, tell stories, enjoy the company but most of all don't forget to laugh. I figure we all have some stories from last night after the jello shots came out.
I am up for the kayak trip also and maybe we can catch some fresh trout while we are out to cook on the fire.
By the way Evilelf, I was in the big city of Ider this weekend. Man, we should have met up. Hindsight is always 20/20 though. Those minature donkeys stole my heart.
Amy -
Ok...I have returned!!! I felt you all with me and my oncologist is such a sweetie he loved the chocolate fountain!
Ok...I'm 45 no period since end of January...estrogen positive, been on Tamox and he is switching me to Arimedex (sp?)since he thinks I am in permantant menopause and not chemopause. Then told me that if I do get my period I have to call him IMMEDIATELY and switch back to Tamoxifen. I hate these "ifs" and "maybe's". I asked about having my overies out and he see no need since I'm in menopause?!? I argued that point a bit and he's sending me for the genetic testing for BRCA1 and BRCA2...if it comes back that I have the "wrong" gene then we'll do away with the overies. I also have to go for a bone density test to make sure that I don't have osteo something or another!!!rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...sick of this!!!
Ok...onward and upward...wagons ho!!! -
Osteoporosis and osteopenia. If you do they will probably put you on weekly Fosomax or that new one that you take monthly.
-
Gentle, colorful ponies for Rhymee, Mena, Debbyfive and anyone else who wants one.
-
Sherry...If you check in I want you to know that I don't have your e-mail here at home! Dumb me...I will write tomorrow.
Taco salad and nachos by the fire...any takers? -
Vickie--
Oh boy---two of my very favorite foods---I'll be right there! Hope you're posting some of these scrumptious goodies on the recipe thread!
Are you guys getting socked with rain? Looks like it on TV----a little hard to keep the campfire going under those conditions.
Jeannie -
a purple pony !!!!!!
Susan,
you are " very" resourcefull !!!!!
hugssssssssssssss
rhymeee -
Oh my back from a grueling day on the ranch.
J: My meeting are tomorrow. Yep its gonna be flying tomorrow. Meeting with the owners and my witchy administrator. I'm lucky cause the owners like me.
Tflow and Purplemb: I so much enjoyed the wheat flapjacks. Yummy. And of course I use light cream. Well sometimes I cheat and use whipped cream - but thats ok on South Beach.
Wendy: I have the perfect horse for you. Hope you dont mind a colt, but its a really good horse. His name is Funnycide. He is one of Distored Humors babies. And Funncycie won the Kentucky Derby 3 years ago. So he is one of the best.
Susan: Oh my what beautiful horses. And unicorns too.
Debbyfive: Its so good to hear from you. Glad you have stopped the medication and hope your feeling well. You can come to the wagon with the red cross for comfort or the healing light wagon. Im running back and forth from each one.
Vickie:Hmmm menopause or not that is the question. I do here Arimidex is very good. So I think if I were you I would be smiling.
Ok! Since Distored Humor is a deep blackish brown, I'm wearing pink boots and pink vest, and pink jockeys cap. Oh I know Shel will hate it. But I like to think of myself and the Pink Lady Warrior on a horse. Rhymee, purple would be my next pick.
Oh boy, I was so busy today. A little tired tonight. So I think, if ya dont mind, I will just eat the grubs, even left overs. But I did bring wine. Pinot Grigoio and homemade Dago red. I would have stomped on the grapes, but I was too tired from treatment lol.
Its a nice evening. Yes I heard the Geese. And I saw a flock of birds sitting on a telephone wire. Yes, fall is upon us.
If I missed anyone, Im sorry. Healing light to all.
Nicki -
Wanted. A person who loves horses. Race horses. I will be your knight in shining armour. You can PRANCE with me. My name is "Spin Humor." I came in second in the Florida Derby and payed $70.00 for a $2.00 dollar bet. This was back in February. I ran second to Barbaro. Remember him. He is the beautiful horse that broke down in the Kentucky Derby.
I'm a beautiful horse who is looking for a special owner. I will love you. If you are uncomfortable, when you ride me you will feel like your on a cloud.
So who wants me?
Hmmmm. Can I put Barbaro in this circle? He is still healing so he can be a stud.
And Oh Peggy: So can you find a picture of a dark haired Italian Girl stomping on grapes? Is this a challenge lol?
Nicki -
With out a doubt Barbaro should be here, just for his feistiness alone. He won't give up even when they thought he was done and neither will we.
Beautiful night by my wagon. I think it's a full moon and a little warmer. Just sitting here whittling a new whistle to call the dogs and horses with.
Getting ready to settle down for the night.
Sleep well sisters and brothers and dream happy thoughts. xoxoxo -
Nicki--
You like to live dangerously, don't you? Challenge Peggy? No telling what she will come up with!
Yes, there is a nip in the air tonite---but it actually feels good. This is the time of year that the air starts to smell like damp pine woods---always reminds me of Girl Scout camp!
The camp is kind of quiet tonite---I think we all wore ourselves out with all of that running around yesterday. I just hear the sound of murmured conversations and the rustlings of people getting their bedrolls ready for a warm and renewing sleep under the stars.
Peace and blessings and tender dreams--
Jeannie -
Hi Ladies,
Too tired to think tonight...heading off to bed with good thoughts, positive healing vibes and prayers for all of you.
Will check in tomorrow to see what Peggy comes up with!!!
Hugs all around
Vickie -
Hi tflow!!!
Opened my back door to get some fresh air while reading here and someone was burning wood. What a wonderful aroma. Then reading some awesome descriptive posts about the campfire, I am melting into bliss!
