Vickie, they say moonshine can work wonders.....try it
-
Hello, where is everyone else???
We have plenty of moonshine -
Whoa...it's almost 11:00...I haven't been up this late in I don't know how long...oh it's gonna be a long day tomorrow!
We're gonna get bumped to the humor, drinkin thread if we aren't careful LOL! -
well hot dog....tow pages in two hours
Vicki, gorgeous. I love it.
I found us an anthem...love Rascal Flatts, heard this for the first time today....I think it's perfect
Stand
Rascal Flatts
You feel like a candle in a hurricane
Just like a picture with a broken frame
Alone and helpless like youve lost your fight
But youll be alright, youll be alright
Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what youre made of
You might bend til you break
Cause its all you can take
On your knees you look up
Decide youve had enough
You get mad, you get strong
Wipe your hands, shake it off
Then you stand, then you stand
Lifes like a novel with the end ripped out
The edge of canyon with only one way down
Take what youre given before its gone
And start holdin on, keep holdin on
Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what youre made of
You might bend til you break
Cause its all you can take
On your knees you look up
Decide youve had enough
You get mad, you get strong
Wipe your hands, shake it off
Then you stand, then you stand
Every time you get up and get back in the race
One more small piece of you starts to fall into place
Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what youre made of
You might bend til you break
Cause its all you can take
On your knees you look up
Decide youve had enough
You get mad, you get strong
Wipe your hands, shake it off
Then you stand, then you stand -
Sorry, didn't see the other posts! The Clampetts, how funny is that? They need to come to the Hoe-Down!
I don't mean to bring anybody down, but I can't tell you guys how much the flashing meant to me. It is really stupid, but I thought that guys would be horrified by me. Not so! People came up to me and told me how much they admired me for being able to "bare" it all. I had never done anyhing like that in my life. It was very theraputic. I know it sounds silly, but it was. -
crap, make that three pages...back to read 262

Vickie -
Thanks Shirley, it was uplifting. I'm not a huge Country fan, but I do love Rascal Flats and Gretchen Wilson.
I think we need to do a group flash at all who think we are less!! I am not less. Pass the moonshine, girlfriends! I am more!! We have life experience that not many have!! And dare I say, "F" you to all those who are hurting our sisters. We are strong and united. On that note, pass the wine, throw another log on the fire, dosie do, alamand left, and let's just be there for one another! Was that too maudlin'? Sorry. -
hi madison, it's way to early to go to bed
-
Amen, Shirley! I don't have a DH tonight and it's still early!
-
On that note, pass the wine, throw another log on the fire, dosie do, alamand left, and let's just be there for one another! Was that too maudlin'? Sorry.
Nope...not too maudlin at all...just the way it should be...forever and always.
