prayer going up for you Jan ~

Carrie -
Jan, you haven't posted in a few days. I pray all is well, love.
-
Jan,
I will keep you and your husband in my thoughts and prayers. -
I am so sorry that things seem so bleak. But I do know that of all the mets, bone mets are the easiest to knock down. Of course, you are a special case, but never the less, all this is a long way from your heart.
You are in all our hearts as you battle this beast. I hope and pray you have many years together and have fun with all your plans. It is so hard to stay positive, but God willing, he will send grace to you.
In my prayers you both are first.
Gentle hugs, Shirlann -
Jan:

Blessings,

Hello all you wonderful ladies. I apologize for the lack of keeping you informed...I've been away for a few days and before that I was pretty sick. Feeling better somewhat but not well. I picked up some type of bug apparently but didn't know it until the fever/chills...and then felt like I had hit a brick wall...went in for my Zometa treatment and found out that I did indeed have a fever with low hemoglobin counts and elevated WBC...so guess I've been run down from the nasty little buggers in my bone marrow...mean little suckers they are...anyway...did manage, only just barely, to spend a few days with son and family in KY...I say just barely because I could hardly walk for lack of energy/stamina...plus this darn ole big toe joint is still swollen and I can't get into a doctor until 8/24...don't mean to whine so much...just know that I am still above ground...still kicking...not as high but still kicking...some days I can think of several that I'd like to kick...but most days I remain my calm, independent, loving, weakened-but-not beaten-by-cancer self...keep the prayers coming and I will try to be more vigilant with writing...do know that I pray for all my warrior sisters...even those who, like me, spend tons of time on Daddy's lap seeking His Divine comfort...be well.

Glad you are back!!!
