He crawls all over the place and he pushes his little wagon full of toys through the whole house. He is a little lovebug.

Here's what he does if you ask him "how big are you?"

How cute Anna.....I am on my way to watch the babies here in a few. I miss them and I was just there for Easter Sunday. I have withdrawal if I stay away to long.

Funny you should ask, Odalys. I am quite surprised at how well my daughter is adjusting. She's what you call a worrywart and always has been, and she still does a good amount of that, but she absolutely adores that little boy and is very happy with him. They are coming down to Virginia on Monday and will be here for a week, so I am very excited. Unfortunately, hubs has to go to Arizona and won't be able to spend that time with them. On the other hand, I get them all to myself, right?

I agree about the withdrawal, Mary Lou!

Glad to hear she is adjusting well.  I think it's wonderful you get to enjoy them both all by your self!  He is a lucky little guy.  There is nothing better than one-on-one with mom and grandma.  Have a great time!!!

Just took hubs to the airport. The rest of the day will be spent getting ready for daughter and grandson's arrival tomorrow. Then some quilting and a walk with little dog.

I hope all my sisters are having a good day.

    Love, Anna

Anna - how is little dogie adjusting to the grandson?  Have a wonderful day.

Deb - How are you feeling?  I am so happy you received an afghan.  Which one did you receive?  Can you post a pic or the link from the afghan thread so I can see if it includes any of my squares?  I hope it does.

Mary Lou - what are you up to these days?

Margerie - How was Spring break?  Did your kids ever get to the surfing lessons?

Wishing everyone a blessed Sunday.  Sending love and hugs your way.

    Sweet sisters,

I am home from a second journey to the hospital.  I thought I was recovering well, and suddenly woke up feeling horrible.  I tried to sleep it off, I called the doc and was told to use a heating pad, I called again and was told to take extra vicodin.  Finally, we called and were told to bring me to the ER.

We went in at about 8, and I was admitted to the hospital at 2 am.  I had a UTI, and they thought I had an internal surgical infection, too.  Thank the good Lord I was okay in that area.

I was there from Monday to Friday.  It was rough.

Yesterday, I woke up from a nap and Greg and Daniel were both telling me I had a package.  Lo and behold, I was a recipient of the loving afghan women.  It made me cry tears of joy.

Thank you for the cards, btw.   I have loved getting mail from Greg each day at the hospital!

Many love and prayers to my sisters, Deb

Oh Deb, stop all the medical procedure excitement now :)  Hope you are resting and healing uneventfully from now on....

Yes~ my hubbie is a surfer and we took the boys out, but the surf was a little rough so we will try again later.  It was 100 here yesterday so we opened up the pool. Yeah summer, especially a summer with hair.

Deb - I was looking at your afghan closely and I see one of my squares there.  The blue, gree, and yellow one (second row, second square on the right). Steven picked out the yarn.  Also, I think one of the yellow silky one and green one (top row, second, on left)is also mine. Anyways, glad to know that at least one of my squares made it to your afghan. Hope you are feeling better and are surrounding yourself with our love and hugs.

Deb, glad you got through that set back. Love the afghan....beautiful. I wish I could make a square.  I just don't have that kind of talent.

Anna, enjoy that cute little man Kiss

Ody- You do have talent. How special it made it's way into Debs arms.

Marg- Boy do you have some hot weather! Hope it waits to get here. It's 75 now, and a nice breeze. Just right for cleaning.

    I miss Lat, and Nancy....

Hey there chicken little.  Thanks for the compliment.  This is such a special project and I am honored that my very first squares made it to Deb's afghan.  Now that is trully God's work since we never know where our squares will end up.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

God is good.  So very good.

How on earth could we ALL get through the trials and tribulations we do without him. I know that we all look to Him and trust in His love.

Okay, that being said, please pray that my pain goes away.  I just feel icky-full of pain and it's like the old days-I don't know where it's coming from.  My belly itches like a mo-fo (sorry for saying that just after I proclaim my joy in the Lord!), it HURTS, I ache, and when I read the doctor reports (bringing them to U of C tomorrow, I just think, "MY GOSH, why on EARTH am I alive?!?!?!??!"  They list things wrong with me that I had no idea!!!!

I love you, I love my blanky, and I love knowing who made each square.  It was an honor to receive that blanket.

Deb - Oh, I hope the pain goes away.  Hang in there.  God is with you.  There are plenty ladies here lifting you in prayer. Wrap yourself in that blanky and it will be as if we are all there with you giving you strength.  You are alive because God is watching you and know you are needed here.  Daniel and your DH need you and depend on you.  So,don't let those scary medical reports rob you of your peace of mind.

Sending much love and plenty hugs your way.

Oh Anna, I just want to gobble him up!!!  He is so darned cute and gets cuter every time I see a picture.

So, I have an inflamed gallbladder, and if it doesn't improve, THAT will require surgery.

I also have to get my ovary (I don't know if I am going to do it all......depends on testing results, I guess).

Ody-thank you for firmly reminding me that my family still needs me.  I really do need to hear that!

Today was the neighborhood garage sale, I used to be one of those people that had garage sales several times a season (I'd get giant bag sale goodies for a dollar, then make a profit on each item).

This time (mostly because I am still recovering), Daniel and I held hands (I love that part of being a mommy....I want him to always hold Mommy's hand) and we walked around the block.

We saw some sales, nosed around, and stopped at a house on our way home.

It turns out that this lady is destined to be a friend of mine.  She had toxemia AND HELLP Syndrome, and was the first person I didn't have to explain what it was!

Her son was born at 26 weeks (Daniel was 31).  Of course, with all preemies  being different , her son seems fine and mine struggles with his left side.

She was a HS teacher, I was a HS teacher!  Her Mom died a year ago, my Dad died a year ago in November!  She gained 20 pounds from the stress, so did I!

Did I mention her name is Deb?

I'm so excited to find a new friend!

Hope you guys are okay-thank you for all the love, prayers and support!  This recovery has sucked!   Deb

Deb, I am glad you and Daniel went out for that walk today! Funny how wonderful things can happen when we least expect them. I'm sorry this recovery is taking so long and that you now have gall bladder pain on top of everything else. Know that I am thinking of you.

Something to put a little smile on your face:

    and how about this one:
