slonedeb you marvel me with your ability to hang tough in the face of the frustrations this world throws at us -- to think of your home without power in such a hot season, makes me feel that the evil one just wants to wreck you with agony. But you prevail.
there are storms all around us, slonedeb. i'm sorry that your pain continues and that you must face additional pain with the coming of another spinal tap. you did it once, so you'll do it again -- if that's what's called for. you are an incredible example of one who clings to life and the opportunity to see another sunrise.
i pray that your medical team is learning much from your example and willingness to continue with treatment. you are a brave soul deb. you are an example for many. you are well loved and will long be remembered for your faith keeping in the midst of the harrowing.
my love and encouragement today -- to you and your whole family. may you build yet a couple more memories to add to your storehouse of treasures together.
i love the image of your honey grilling for you in the midst of the storm. may he be rewarded for his efforts to bring you comfort and nourishment.

Morning Deb I am sorry you will need another spinal tap. Like Faith said you have done it before you will again. The devil is under your feet keep him under em. I pray the pain is gone today. Oh to be without power is tough. Makes every one hot and grumpy. Oh for your dear hubby who grilled for you what a man you are blessed with. You are a encourager for so many. For you to let GOD shine thru all you face. For all the medical people see you are tough and that you love the LORD is important to show others who do not know him intimately. So stay in the word. God is our miracle worker and we must keep our faith strong. We are prayer warriors here so I continue to lift you and others up each day. GOD bless.
Faith how is the back pain today? I heard from my son who is overseas this morning he is good. He said will be Jan till he comes home for a visit. With military date always changes. Was suppose to come in Dec but oh well such is life. I count days since I have seen him since have no set date till visit. When will your son in law be home soon I think right? Have a blessed day.

Well Deb you are in the right place for a shoulder to cry or lean on. We all have those times Deb when we feel so alone and can't seem to pray. So talk to GOD he is in the room with you and he knows your pain. I talk to him many times when I sure don't feel him but know he is there. I am sure of one thing you are just hitting another bump in the road. You are just down and need to cry a bit which can be good. He is saving all our tears my goodness what a bottle mine is. Deb many times I feel so sad and unsure of my healing but he said by his stripes so I must stand on his word. It is wonderful that your hubby is good to you and there for you. SEE YOU ARE BLESSED. I love you and we are all here for you.
Dear Heavenly I ask that you touch my dear sister Deb today in a special way. I still claim our healing Lord. Reveal yourself to Deb in a new way. Let her feel you near. Give her strength to battle on and to not lose hope. She is having a rough time and we know you have brought her thru many before. Lord she so needs a brand new touch. So I am praising you for the answer that is on the way. AMEN

Kbug's prayer is wonderful, Deb, uplifting and clear.Wishing you warmth in our enveloping arms.Tender

Morning Deb. You're in my thoughts as I awaken, hoping it's less hot so you can breath, that you're appetite is present today for fluids and nourishment, your pain is limited and you feel the presence of your friends here and at home.Knowing you need our support and offering it through each hour...Tender
-
Morning Deb. Are you feeling better today? Jeremiah33:3 call to me, and I will answer you,and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. I pray that verse helps. Deb we all love you and are cheering you on in this fight. Enjoy this day our dear friend. GOD BLESS.....
-
my dearest slonedeb..... I've returned home and am again connected to cyber-prayers for you.
i'm so glad that kbug & Tender have surrounded you with their love & greetings, prayers & support. you've got some might-great people rallied here, deb, and i treasure our friendship, too.
as far as my own-walk-of-faith, i believe our Maker has everything figured out, under control and unfolding on some glorious plan -- that's obviously beyond our understanding.
i believe that same Creator that can sculpt your bluegrass, rolling hills and glorious horses has big enough shoulders to hear our cries and agonies of pain, frustration and disbelief. to me, that's a sure sign of faith. a true sign of a believer. someone who has the backbone to enter into a conversation with heaven and yell and kick and carry on.
the Bible is just filled with story after story of the people's dispair. read some Psalms again. they're always weeping and gnashing their teeth and asking to smite their enemies over and over. we are connected to their journey, as we weep and gnash our own teeth.
this planet earth of ours is filled with peril, evil, disease, mistrust and on and on. depression that we still can't live peacefully together here among so much beauty is evidence that we as people just aren't working hard enough to hold each other up.
i just gotta think that we're at "school" here with lessons to learn. none of us makes it out alive. what do we learn in the meantime? what can we teach in the meantime? what difference can we make?
i think that by your sharing your journey, you are teaching many here. i think that by your sharing your sorrows, hurts and sadness -- it lights the way for others to express or consider their own doubts.
slonedeb. maybe that's one of your contributions to this journey for me. maybe you are here to teach me things: put my world into perspective, reflect on my blessings, learn about friendship and prayer.
i'm so sorry that you continue to be in such pain. i'm glad that your air conditioning is back in place. my nephew just returned back here from 2 years in Africa. seeing his pictures and hearing his stories makes me realize that every day we spend in this country is a blessing beyond measure. there are indeed starving children in Africa.
well, my deb, i hope i haven't rambled on too much and added to your sense of loss......
all i can do is trust that everything will indeed work out for good.
i've experienced that before -- when all seemed lost, and then a new chapter brought sparkling good back into focus for me. i will pray that you receive what you need, as you continue to question.
i personally believe that our Heavenly Father cries with us at these times of deepest sorrow.

Deb I am sorry your kids are causing you heartache. We will continue to pray for them as well as each other. Don't let your mind go to bad thoughts I know you will still have some worries but the evil one is doing all he can to tear you down. Well you are making us all proud as well as the good Lord with your continuing fight. There is meds to help your pain. Faith has a sweet spirit and a way with words to really help us all. I am so thankful that friend came by to help you. When we get overwhelmed it is wonderful to see a friend and get back on track. Well I get chemo in morning so I will wish you a great day for tomorrow. Hugs my dear friend...

Deb, You dont know me, but I have been following your journey for months now. Something about you just pricked my heart and I check on you each time I get online. I am not one that talks very much, I mostly read and listen in the chat room.. O what a great bunch of people I have met in that room.. They saved my sanity several times.
My story goes back to 1990 when I found the dreadful lump in my breast while takeing a shower, Thank the Lord it was very early, and I got my healing. Then in 2000 I found another in the opposite breast, almost 10 years to the very day of the other one. Had another lumpectomy and rads and again God Healed me completely.
Then last August I was working in my flower bed , my dog got under my feet and I tripped over him and fell down on a pointed rock on my spine, and crushed one of my vertabraes.. after many test and scans, they discovered I had a malignant tumor in the vertabrae and the doctor said more than likely it was mets from the breast cancer..I only had to have 13 rads and Prayed and had my church family pray and now there is no sign of the cancer. Isnt God wonderful..
I sing with a Gospel band at church and would like to share a song with you that I sang over and over while praying for my miracle.. Hope you enjoy it. And remember if you dont get your healing here on earth.. You will be whole again in Heaven with no more pain..

Gosh Deb, a friend in the right place at the right time is a true friend indeed. I am so sorry to hear your legs are this swollen. You're husbands plan of getting you to your oncologist via ambulance sounds good. Then she can address the very real issue of proper pain medicine for you. I'm glad you have found re-newed strength, between your husband and friends: we appreciate how difficult it is for you just now, Deb.
We won't stop now either. Hoping you have a restful night.

As the morning sun rises in the East, prayers for Deb and family and friends for healing and reconciliation. May you be shaded by the knowledge of love and support which surrounds you, and fanned by the wings of prayers as they are said. May you drink from you well of support, and know that it remains more than half full, sweet Deb.Tender

good morning slonedeb.
i just realized what i posted when the site was down for maintenance yesterday afternoon:
i got a phone call yesterday from one of the frequent "chatters" here from the BCO chatline.
people were asking about you and wondering how you were doing -- and she was aware that i have been attempting to keep up with your story & it's developments.
i wanted you to know that you truly missed in chat and that some of those gals don't know how to visit the boards here to extend their greetings........
so you have a much wider circle of prayer sisters than you may have realized.
thinking of you today....... is the second spinal tap coming soon? today?
know that i extend my sincere prayers for strength and courage as you move forward into the unknown.

Dear Deb we do miss you in chat. Praying for the spinal tap to go well and give great results. You are a blessing to us here. In chat last nite they said Zaro (Dawn) is not doing well at all. Looking bad there so lift her up in prayer. When we feel we can't pray for ourselfs we can pray for others and that helps get us back on track. So we are looking for the next post from you. Pray it is with good news.
Lord be with our dear friend Deb in the spinal tap whenever it is done and we ask for a good report. Let her feel a piece and your great prescence. I know you love her and us all with a everlasting love. Praise you Father God. Amen
