Hi Pinkstockers! The day is approaching and we are getting so excited. DH even bought a lot of fireworks to bring with us. Now, I still don't know if I can take the time off or where we are going to stay but know we are not missing it this year!
God willing of course. I can't wait to meet everyone. BTW- what can I bring you guys from Miami?
-
Do you feel it? You must! How can you not? That's right,
PINKSTOCK 2008 ALMOST HERE!
Pardon my yelling but I just can't contain myself. Now I am stuck on Bold and I can't get it off.
Michelle-I believe there are some ladies coming from another board that don't post here. Of course we want to meet you.We are all sisters. Get on up to Ischua.
-
Liz, will be arriving sometime Thursday. It is a 10 hour drive and that is without stops or lunch so is going to take us 12-14. With DH back problems, he will have to have a break every 3 hours at least. I want to be packed the night before and on the road early. MB had said to call when I got there and she would come meet me at the hotel. I can keep the food cool for the trip but would not want to try it overnight so will need to get that to MB.

Hi gals,
JUST saw this post---so know it is too late. But was reading back a few pages and didn't get to the page that says when and where this is---sounds like a blast though--can anyone share any info? Since it is prob going to happen soon, maybe this is something I can go to next year--from the few posts on the last 4 pages, sounds like it will be at a home w/ a big hill with a fantastic hostess! Hope everyone has a great time, and gets there safely! Party hearty!

I'll vouch for the 'middle of nowhere!' But it is a beautiful setting!! Don't worry Valerie.....I thought my DH would leave me there last year, too............................but the crazy guy has 'voluntered' to take me again this year!!
I feel bad that you all aren't going to get to meet "Crazy Bob!"

21 Days

19 days my friends.
-
Okay everyone, it's getting closer. I need to find my suitcase and make sure I have everything "allowed" and not "allowed" in my carry on. I do wish my airline would quit screwing with my flight! Right now I might as well not even go to bed the night before. LOL
See you on the hill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
You ladies all have a ton of fun during PINKSTOCK! I wish I were joining you, but maybe next year---and I'm hoping you will have it again next year...it sounds wonderful. Have safe trips there and back, and just have a great time!
Kathy
-
Kathy-I said the same thing last year and now I get to go. See you there in 2009! Opps, I better ask MB first
LOL.
17 days and counting.
-
Yeah, you all be really, really good this year, so that MB will want to host this again next year! Just kidding...but I am a little bit jealous...
-
Almost time!! You don't suppose MB took off to some far away land do you???? Nah...she wouldn't want us on the hill if she wasn't there!
Wahine........Where do you live? If it is within driving distance........come on out!
Hugs,
Neesie
-
Thanks, Nessie! I live in N.AL, but just found out about this a few days ago. We had plans already in place to go to Tunica, MS (casinos) and my DD would drive up from TX, with her kids, so we could have one stay with us for a few days (at our house, not the casinos..lol). BUT today my drs office called, and my liver panel was extremely elevated, so now I am having a CT scan this week, then see dr again on Monday. AARRGG. I think I need to find a deserted island that I can hide on, and no phone calls, tests, or doctors would be there! (Hmmm....MB's hill would work out...just kidding.). But thank you for the invite! I think MB went camping with her family for a few days..she mentioned that earlier. So don't worry....she won't abandon everyone...lol. Just have a great time for those of us that can't be there with you!
Take care,
Kathy
