Peg, can you tell us who's in the scenes with the horse and the waterfall?

I also heard there was talk about Forbes going back as Scott Chandler on AMC, he would allegedly side with Adam against JR in business dealings. I remember him as Scotty vaguely. it would be a hoot if Scott went after Babe.

I can't wait for this week to see the Cole/Todd stuff about Starr's pregnancy and her reaction to it.

OMG how good was the show today????? Talia confronting Carlo, Lindsay finally confessing to all her lies, Cole telling Todd about the baby. I love Nora, i felt bad that everyone was dumping on her- she should have found a way to do it in private and not embarass Bo. I'm sooo glad Bo didn't fall for Lindsay's tears and excuses yet again, but sorry that he was hurt. I was going to be so mad if he forgave her for lying yet again after he told her he wouldn't. Bo needs his backbone back and I think he found it today.

It was. Matthew and Clint gave Nora an ear full. I was surprised to see Matthew, first, give it to Nora about how she's out to get Lindsay. Poor Bo looked so hurt when he talked to Linds in private. She begged him to overlook the lies and Bo said he could have overlooked the initial lie if she had later been honest. Go Bo.

Todd did not... I said did not.. attack Cole when Cole told him about the baby. At first Todd didn't believe Cole, but as Cole explained about Blair finding out when Todd pushed Starr down the steps, you could see he was starting to believe the story. Finally Cole told him about Starr's plan to have Marcy and Michael adopt the baby and then we knew Todd believed.

Meanwhile, Starr was talking to Michael about adopting the baby. We could see how much Michael wanted to adopt the baby, but was trying to fight the notion as Starr laid out her reasoning. He promised to think about it. When Starr left she ran into Marcy coming home from the failed wedding. Outside the apartment Starr said she saw Marcy with her lawyer and hoped that meant Marcy was considering the adoption. Marcy asked Starr not to mention the meeting of the lawyer to Michael.

Carlo and Talia spoke. Talia said her mother didn't want her to become a cop, for fear she would need to  hunt down Carlo. Talia said she tried to be the best cop she could to make up for his crimes. Carlo escaped from prison with the help of the former police chief- so now we know the connection and why the chief was so nasty to Talia, he tried to get her to quit the force. Carlo is somehow entwined with Tina and the fake prince, which is why Sara is also kidnapped.

Wow. Thanks for the very thorough update, Amy! I did catch the last half-hour last night on Soap Net. Bo looked so sad. And you know why Todd didn't try harder to choke Cole right? Guilt over keeping Marty holed up while lying to her about her entire life...

Ramsey was a real scumbag, wasn't he?!?

Good point about Todd and guilt. Wouldn't it be crazy if Todd convinces Marty to marry him before she regains her memory and before he tells everyone that she's alive? What a dilemma, Cole and Starr step siblings and more pull to try to get custody of the baby with Marty. Things are going to get messy, whatever happens.

I loved Nora sticking it to Lindsay while she was being arrested, all the things Nora has probably wanted to say. I wonder what's going to happen to Lindsay and if Nora's strong attitude is going to push Bo back to Lindsay (I hope not).

I just crack up about the David Vickers dog. Glad to see David and Vicky in a scene together. I have a feeling she'll be glad about the marriage, but make David promise not to screw Addie.

I have to miss the show tomorrow, but I'll be listening so I won't miss the words, just the actions.  The show is just so good!

Thanks for telling me what happened in the last scene. I listened to the whole thing, I wish I could have seen everything, but better than missing it. I guess today is going to be good when we find out what happens when Todd is at Marcy's and also, when Cole and Starr talk.

Why is Blair fighting Starr's battles with Cole? When she told Starr off before Starr had a change to have her own reaction, she stepped over the line, not that anything she said was wrong. I couldn't believe when Cole said that he and Todd were now friends.  I have to side with Cole on this one. While I wholeheartedly believe in a woman's right to choose, I think if the mother chooses adoption, the father should be able to take custody of the child unless he's unfit. I know Cole isn't ready to be a dad, but if a teenage girl gets pregnant she can keep the child so I think fathers need the same right. I really have a feeling Cole/Todd/Marty/Baby are going to be a "family" at some point, fake as it may be. Todd will convince Cole he needs to keep up the ruse in order for Marty to heal or something crazy like that.

It was sad when Michael left today. And the scenes with Gigi and Rex are heartbreaking. She should tell him the truth, loose that chucklehead Brody and get on with her life. But it probably won't make good soap opera drama if she did the right thing, lol...

Not sure I agree with you completely about the baby, Amy. Star had a very valid points about not wanting the child to grow up thinking he/she ruined her/his parents' lives or was a mistake. At this point, it seems like Cole just wants to replace the family that he lost. I'm sure he'd love the hell out of a baby, but he cannot support a child at this stage in his life. I think it is extremely selfish of him to want to do it just because it seems like a good way to get back the love he lost when his moms and pops passed; he seems to be forgetting the fact that it isn't a sack of groceries but a real, live feeling and thinking HUMAN...

I agree with all your points Felicia. I was talking more about the issue of a father taking custody if the mother wants to give the child up for adoption than the specifics of Starr and Cole. You're right that Cole wants to create a family and he's not realistic about what having a baby entails. I also think Star has been a bit impuslive about her decision, since she didn't talk it over with her mother, grandmother, Aunt Viki or even Langston. (note that I left Dorian's name out). Star hasn't examined the consequences on the baby if adopting to a family she knows where Todd is concerned, let alone the McBains.

I also miss the previews. I wonder why they're doing that. I was too busy to get any scoops this week.

Amy - is Vicki really going to die? I'm watching it now on Soap Net and they keep advertising this new soap magazine ("Soap Shockers" I think it's called) and the cover has a photo of Vicki with "Vicki Dies!" in huge type. Inside are pics of her slumped over the steering wheel of the car and another of Dorian giving her CPR.

Gheesh, how many more people are gonna kick the bucket on OLTL?!?

She's going to fake die for a few days so she can go to heaven and see her dead friends and family LOL. She was on the view yesterday with the actor who plays Bo and she talked about her next last name being shorter than some of the others (Banks). Ooops/ did she mean to spill that!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been really busy lately, but this summer the studio is dark on Friday so I was able to watch the show and I got to see some things that I had no idea about because I wasn't directly involved with it (like Dorian and Viki's conversation in the car right before the crash and the AA meeting with Charlie and Brody). You guys have better insight into some of the characters than I do.

The stuff we did in Rhinebeck is starting to air-Bo and Rex with the lightning and rain. It took 2 all-nighters to get that accomplished. I supplied Bob Woods (Bo) and JP (Rex ) with wet suits to wear under their costumes while they were lying in the mud in the rain (from 2 trucks). JP didn't wear his-boy, was he sorry about that! Gigi (Farrah Fath) and Delphina (Lea DeLaria-who will also be playing another character in drag) were also there. Melissa Archer who plays Natalie also came by, because her fiance was an electrician on the shoot.

The waterfall stuff is in "Mendorra". The shoot included Carlo (Thom Christopher, who is a really nice guy, by the way), Tina (Andrea Evans, who told me her mother is an 18 year breast cancer survivor-WOO HOO!), Cristian (David Fumero) and Sarah (Justis Bolding) and some Mendorran soldiers. It will be a couple of weeks before that stuff airs.

I'll post more pictures, but I want to wait until more stuff airs so I don't get into trouble.

We had lunch on the set this week for the 40th Anniversary of the show.

Peg, I have to tell you that I get so excited when I see a post in this thread from you about OLTL! I know you can't give too much away, but thanks for sharing what you can...

When we saw the scenes with Rex and Bo, my son and I remembered that you said it was in Rhinebeck (which is about 40 minutes away) and we both got excited - like you guys were filming in our backyard or something. It doesn't take much to excite us anyway, lol...

How cool is it that Andrea Evans' mom is an 18-year survivor?!? Wow (- and is this a tiny planet or what?). Andrea, btw, looks like she hasn't aged a day since I was in HS watching OLTL with my mom and talking about the antics of Tina Lord - 25 flippin' years ago. Too cute...

Hoping all is well with you as your walk gets closer...

Peg I heard that Justis isn't going to be returning to thge show and will be presumed dead and IF the character comes back, it won't be played by Justis. I';m sure she's a nice young woman, but she doesn't come across very good on screen.

I;m loving the scenes with Rex and Bo, as i love everything with the two of them.

18 years-- that's inspiring to hear.

Felicia, apparently Rex tries to call Gigi from 1968 or 9 and Brody answers the phone. He doesn't let her talk to Rex, big surprise.

David promised Dorian he would leave Addie if she would save Vickie.

Agnes Nixon started off by recapping Monday. Viki was back in heaven where Jess's daughter Megan (played by the old jessica) was her guide. Viki saw Ben who encouraged her about Charlie and who told her to go back to earth. They shared some tender moments including a flashback sequence of their love.

Dorian encountered Mel who told her to stop living in Viki's shadow. He chided her for going after Clint and accused her of doing to to get back at Viki, which Dorian reluctantly admitted. He implored Dorian to tell the truth about what she did to Charlie. Meanwhile, David showed up at the site of the accident and was visibly disturbed about Viki,. He begged Dorian to try to save Viki. Initially Dorian was incredulous because she believed David was in love with Viki, He told her that he loved her as a FRIEND and she didn't know the meaning of the word friendship. As AH said, he promised to leave Addie if Dor saves Viki, Dorian wanted the promise in writing before she tried, which caused a reaction in Mel, standing behind her. Dor miraculously found a shot of what was needed to save Viki,

Cristian swam out to save Sarah and Tina was relieved, until Carlos informed her that the two would go over the falls (a repeat of what he did to Tina years ago). I read that the actress who plays Sarah is not returning to the role and she will be presumed dead (yay).

Meanwhile, back at the ranch (literally) Bo was still Asa and Rex still Bo. The actress who plays Gigi was, in 1968 one of Renees hookers, and Spencer Truman's mother. Shane played a young and bratty Spencer.  Gigi (as Valerie or whatever her name was )  was making the moves on Bo (as Asa) and Rex (as a young Bo) tried to get Gigi to notice him, chiding Bo (as Asa) for going after Gigi. Bo (as Bo) reminded Rex that this was Asa not Bo... it was very funny -- again, the two actors Bob Woods and JP lavousier (sp) were phenomenal.

Felicia I've just gotten back to the boards since moving back home. My cable was finally hooked up thursday-- it was supposed to be done tuesday but since there were burnt wires they had to send someone with one of those cherry pickers. I digress, I was unpacking boxes during the show on both days so I don't have my usual thorough update.

Dorian saw a female version of Mel who convinced her to come clean with Viki-- well partially clean. Viki summoned Dor to her bedside to thank Dor for saving her life. At first Dorian was defensive then she admitted when she thought Viki had died she felt as if she lost her best friend. Dor admitted that she never slept with charlie and that charlie only had wonderful things to say about Viki and his love for her. Dor stopped short of admitting to drugging Charlie and forcing beer down her throat.

Charlie felt conflicted after learning Brody isn't Shane's father in AA, but knowing he couldn't say anything because of the anonymity. I think Charlie felt that if he could tell Rex the truth, it would somehow make up for lying about being his father. Dorian told Charlie about the crfash and that Viki wanted to see him.

Clint and Nora tried to bribe David to annul his marriage to Addie so they could get back BE (not sure how that works since David is actually a Buchanan), unaware he had already promised Dorian he'd do the same. Nora's sarcastic facial expressions to David's remarks about his sexiness were priceless. Clint offered David 10 million dollars for the annulment. You could see how conflicted David has been about divorcing Addie. I think he genuninely cares for Addie and I hate to see how she'll react to his news. I reallyt like her.

John and Blair had a serious discussion over wine about todd and moving on and you know what happens when Blair has a serious discussion with a man over wine when not getting along with Todd....

Meanwhile Todd reluctantly told Marty about being raped, leaving out that he was the rapist. She wanted details and Todd didn't want to give them. Marty really pressed him as to why it happened and Todd showed insight into talking about how the ringleader (Todd) hated himself and felt small etc. Marty got the impression, which Todd allowed, that Todd saved Marty and helped her recover, rather than being the rapist.

Star made a video tape for her baby talking about how hard it was to give her/him up. That part was kind of nonbelievable because the actress didn't really pull it off, in my opinion. I like Kristen Alderson, I just don't think she has the acting range that some like the actress playing Langston does. Kristen does angry and scared well, but she doesn't do sad, grieving as well. I wouldn't want to see a different Star though.

    Next week:

TODD'S WORLD COMES CRASHING DOWN! IF REX DOESN'T GET BACK TO THE FUTURE, HE COULD DIE!
Todd's really not having a good week. He's just told amnesiac Marty that she was assaulted in college; he's learned his ex, Blair, is now sleeping with his enemy, John (yes, you read that right); and now he faces the very real possibility of losing access to his unborn grandson. How? Cole and Starr come to a major crossroads in their relationship and if Cole agrees to give up all rights to his unborn baby, Todd will be out of the picture. Will he sign the agreement, thus preventing Todd access? Meanwhile, Rex and Bo are trapped in 1968 -- and everyone thinks Rex is the younger Bo. When Rex-as-Bo gets the news he must ship out to Vietnam, he fears he may never come back. But will his love for Gigi get him back to the future? Plus: Someone gets stabbed, Tina's about to be beheaded ... and is David Vickers a vampire?

I feel sorry for Todd, but not so sorry that I think what he's doing is right, I'm glad to see him showing shame and remorse for raping Marty. Sure, Todd being Todd isn't doing what would be most helpful for Marty- telling her the truth about Cole and John, but I really believe he wants to help her. What scares me is that she seems to be falling for him, at least in the way a patient sometimes thinks she loves her doctor or therapist. I just have this feeling Todd is going to marry Marty before she gets her memory back....

I want Brody to go away and as much as I love Gigi, I want to smack her for perpetuating the lie that he is Shane's father. Gigi has a spine, she needs to remember that.

Erika Slezak is taking a vacation on and off screen as she does every summer. Last year Viki was off the canvas for two months when she ended up at the bon jour, I hope she's  not away as long this year. Speaking of the bon jour, how funny was Moe as a hippy in 1968. I wish there was a way to bring him to llanview.

    Next week sounds good!

REX AND GIGI TRY TO REUNITE, BUT TO SAVE THE FUTURE, WILL BO HAVE TO SLEEP WITH GIGI?
Before he can be shipped to Vietnam, Rex -- living as 1968's Bo -- tries to return back to the future to be with Gigi. In 2008, Gigi is worried about Rex and disbelieving when Madame Delphina claims he's stuck in 1968. Still, desperate to see him again, Gigi may just listen to Delphina's claims of how Rex can return to the future and see Gigi once again. But, back in 1968, can Rex and Bo (living as 1968's Asa) get back to their own time before Bo/Asa must sleep with Emma, who looks exactly like Gigi? And -- are you following this -- if he doesn't, David Vickers will never be born and reality could collapse! Maybe this explains why, in 2008, David keeps not seeing his own reflection. The fate of the universe AND David's vanity is at stake! Meanwhile, when Blair finds a nightgown that Todd has purchased for his mystery woman (Marty), she angrily confronts him, inches away from Marty's room. Will Blair discover her rival?

where are my fellow fans? I'm not enjoying the Mendora storyline, even though I love Talia. I wished that Sara had either died going over the river OR they replaced the actress. I really hope that Gigi FINALLY tells Rex the truth about Shane when he returns back from 1968...
