Thanks Deb..... they are growing like wild. I knew you'd enjoy.....

I know that the incredible losses of our recent angel(s) have really rocked everyone here on the boards, Deb. I can only imagine how close you are with some of these dear ones.

I believe that our Creator has broad enough shoulders to grasp all of our emotions as these times of loss. When I read the Psalms, there is a great deal of gnashing of teeth and sorrow and shouting..... so I think that we're in pretty good company.

Know that I continue to hold you daily in my prayers, asking for your continued care, strength and courage to be rebuilt as needed. I pray that you can keep hope in your heart. I pray that your family in strengthened by your journey.

big week ahead for me..... crazy good exhausting fun. will be praying the old fashioned way. take care of yourself and appreciate the little treasures of each day.

my northern DebC of Alaskan fame...... know that each day I continue to say prayers for your strength and perseverance in the face of all that unfolds for you. I've been away from the boards a bit this past week as I had a "tour" of concerts (13!!!!!) and just made brief pops here and there.....

so I feel outta-the-loop with the specifics of what you are facing these days.......

my prayers have been for your mental well being in the face of all that must be confronted on this journey.

i know that everyone here has been confronted with the sudden and unexpected loss of dear friends here on the boards and i would imagine that has taken it's toll on you. how abrupt, uncaring and unfair this disease is while taking it's toll. certainly beyond our human understanding.

i personally believe that our Maker can handle all of our anger and our other emotions too.

know that i will always hold you in my prayers -- for wellness in the face of it all.

    xx00xx00xx00xx00xx00xx00xx

next week i'm off to Vegas: national Kindergarten teacher conference: whooooo hoooooo.

so i'll say some Vegas prayers with your name on them: LOL!!

Dear Compassionate One. Look with kindness and mercy on my kindred named DebC. I know that she is at a loss right now and having such a storm of side effects from her treatment. I ask you to reach your gentle hands of caring and healing all around her tonight. Hold her in your bosom and rejuvinate her body.

I ask for your mercies and miracles to shine all around her tonight, as the unknowns thud all too close to home for our Deb.

She has brought humor and happiness and encouragement to so many, and so I ask for her treatment to make progress against the beast that rages on. Shore up her lagging spirits. Rise up her questioning heart. Bind her broken-ness with outragous heavenly balm. Bring her enthusiasm in spite of the agony that walks beside her.

Give her strength as that of eagles. Give her wisdom to endure. Give her hope to continue. Give her determination to conquer. Tie on her sandles with the lightness of angles. Carry her thru this immediate storm.

Wrap her in your all encompassing care. Direct her medical team. Hold up her friends and family so that they may be strong in the face of fear and frustration. Give them the words needed. Hold them close together as a unit of your divine love.

All this and all that I'm not capable of expressing.

    for good, for Deb.

You are a BIG winner Deb -- a seriously BIG winner.

I'm so sorry that you're having to go through all of this, but going thru is what you're doing!!

My absolute favorite quote, which I'm sure I've posted before:

"When you're going thru hell, keep going."

from Winston Churchill and now a country song

just keep going, Deb, walk yourself right thru hell, with your head held high

    You are a BIG winnder

p.s. I'm safely home in the midwest, after my Vegas exploits and today we await the return of my SIL from his Air Force assignment!!!! He should be home before dinner.

Blessed One, breathe continued hope into our Northern Deb as you transfuse her with wholeness. Hold her gently so that she may see the many blessings that surround her. Guide her medical team into understanding and wisdom, delivered with kindness and grace.

Quiet her fears. Calm her anxieties. Brighten her hope. Bring her peace.

Allow Deb to have confidence and courage in each day's opportunity. Give her things to look forward to and plan for. May there be celebrations a plenty for the friends and family who walk the road beside our friend Deb. Give them the stories to share, the jokes to tell, the videos to watch that lighten the load of what must be carried at this time. Hold up all who hold up Deb. Weave their care into a tapestry of marvelous threads woven together in Your honor.

Great Northern Mommy. Today I ask for blessings for your family, for your daughter -- in the face of losing her childhood companion in Babe...... I'll ask for special guidance from the angels as you lead her thru this significant loss  --  and support her as she considers your fight.

Know that I trust you'll find all the right answers for her..... the most important thing to me, would be her questions and the opportunity to open a dialogue.

Heavenly Wonder-Maker, be with our great northern, bear chasin' Deb in the hours and days ahead. Be with her spirit as she considers the time before her. Raise her consideration of what is indeed important to her, when there is much that is unknown. Assure her that you indeed know all.... and have measured her days in perfect order, just as you arrange the feathers on the sparrow.

When we are adrift with questions, concerns and anxieties will you please send angels to surround us with your sense of calm and comfort? Lead our eyes to the shiny penny that reads, "In God We Trust" as a reminder of your presence in our very midst.... when we need that reminder.  When our dispair threatens to undo the joy that awaits in the coming day, garner and shake our sense of perspective to remind us, that we each have just this current moment to spend. Help us to spend these tiny morsels of moments with care and with skill.

I ask for Mercies to be showered upon my DebC sister and friend. I ask that you console her and give her wisdom in the midst of all that lies around and ahead. I ask that you shore up her flagging energy with visits from friends, a touch from family, sweet tea or chicken soup from a neighbor, or whatever gift can come from her cyber family here -- to assure her that she is never alone, that You are in charge and have answers waiting ahead. Please hold her family members in the sweet palm of your hand, so that they may minister to your lamb.

Please guide us to one another in our times of need. I ask that you give my prayers the strength and power, beyond my own ability, that DebC yearns to read. I pray that her medical team rises up to meet this intruder, summoning all of their capability on her behalf -- imbued with your perfect insight.

May we learn from each other all that these lessons walking here together might provide.

This and all that I am incapable of expressing I ask. Amen.

Dear Healer and Miracle Maker....... You alone 'know' of the absolute fear that our dear Northern Deb is facing...the unknowns and anxieties that add to the physical pain that she now must bare.

I know that she has struggled to hold the perfect image of your loving care and kindness together in her heart with all of the agonies that she is undergoing. God, in our little universes -- we want cotton candy and happy endings and fairness for your believers and their children. We want delightful little parables that end sweetly with wellness after a struggle. Yet we have seen so many of our kindhearted sisters perish to this intruder.

Send our sister Deb the everlasting peace that you are in charge of her story. Minster to her now with angels of mercy, surrounding her in her hospital room. Give her the strength of a young-David facing down the giant, with your muscle.

What is your will in this story? What is your plan? Help the unbelieving come to terms with the details our Deb must endure. Send us a cure. Send our Deb a miracle -- a miracle of healing.

I thank you for this medium that connects us. I thank you for the wellspring and outpouring of support for those in need.

You know so much more of what is in my heart.

THANK You, thank YOU, Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for the weekend of respite in Deb's own home, surrounded by her family. Thank you for the amazing dedication of her medical team -- searching the world's best for answers and insight. Thank you for the treasured friends here across the globe who have united in expressing their care and concern. Thank you for reaching out to Deb in the midst of all that is unknown to comfort her thru the night. Thank you that she is still able to maintain some vision and can communicate here and read the support of her sisterhood.

Please give Deb the strength and courage needed to move thru this coming week with a sense of calm and purpose. With a sense of faith and trust. With a sense of hope.

Please give Deb an outright miracle. Whatever is plaguing her human body, please obliterate and remove..... giving her something to confound all the medical team. Where'd it go? It's a miracle. Deb would be capable of sharing that amazing story with so many.

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to seperate us from the love of God."     --Romans 8: 38-39

As for me, I'm quite convinced that neither PET scans, nor vomit, nor spinals, nor chemo, nor baldness, nor kooky medical staff, nor waiting, nor port's failing, nor surgeries, nor googling, nor pet's passing, nor bear's hovering can seperate us from the love of God."     --Deb C, lower 48

You're an example for all of us of faith-in-action. You are loved by people you don't even know -- even vaguely. People have come to the boards who have only ever 'read' in the past, but your story has prompted them to start typing.

Deb you are living a miracle. Embrace it. Breathe deeply. Close your eyes and recall all the gifts around you. I'm sending prayers for you.

Dear Healer-in-Heaven. This week has been harrowing for our dear northern Deb. I ask that you hold her and her dear family even tighter than usual -- reassuring them continually of your great plan for their lives.

I thank you for Deb's attentive medical team, who have reached out to other brilliant minds in the search for keeping this beast at bay and turning the tides toward wellness. Thank you for their focus and concentration in administering the varous tests and lessening the side effects and pain.

Give Deb a peace in her heart that radiates outward and diminishes all illness from her body. Give her the sense of your care that allows her to trust and believe -- hoping for a future, envisioning her daughters milestones further down the road.

Thank you for the outpouring of support that Deb has received. Keep her present in the hearts and minds of those who will hold her story up for your intervention.

"Let all who run to you for protection always sing joyful songs. Provide shelter for those who truly love you and let them rejoice."    (Psalm 6:11)

Give Deb a joyful song to sing. Let her rejoice.

Northern Star Deb: I'm starting my day with prayers for you, as we have been instructed --

"Never stop praying, especially for others. Always pray by the power of the Spirit. Stay alert and keep praying for God's people."    (Ephesians 6:18)

I just wanted you to know that I continue to send prayers with your name specified, asking for compassion and care to continue..... asking for mercy and miracles...... asking for encouragement and enthusiasm in the midst of your very real challenges.

Trust that you are being held up by the many praying warriors here, Deb.

My Deb, my friend........ here I am at the airport again...... leaving for another vagabond, starting my day thinking of you and your wellbeing. I pray that you have some inspiration today, something that tickles your funny bone, a little giggle in the midst of your journey. Know that I am always praying for you, asking the angels to rain down their mercy and guidance upon you.

Be strong in your walk thru this hell-on-earth...... and pick some flowers along the way, despite it all.  "When you're going thru hell, keep going."  -- Winston Churchill

I pray for your strength and I pray for your courage.

p.s. I got to squeeze my babeez this weekend and they've grown like weeds! It's amazing what an infant learns in 3 weeks. Think how brilliant we'd be if we kept that same learning curve thruout life. Goodness and mercy to you.

Deb C....... just think of the stories you can tell...........

"And then there was the time I had brain surgery in Alaska............"

"And then there was the time I knew a miracle had taken place..........."

Here's to always hoping. Wishing on the first star -- every night, for you. Asking for the miracle of time to be entrusted to your care. Prayers for strength and courage in your continued walk of faith.

Thank you for sharing this journey with us.

    Dear Maker-of-Miracles and Compassion,

Thank you for watching over our dear sister, Deb. For holding her up thru the side effects and surgeries..... allowing her sparkling spirit to reign, even in the midst of all that has unfolded over that last month.

Thank you for her opportunities to spend meaningful time with her family. Thank you for gracing her with the energy to offer her insight, experience, and humor to so many here who need her example of moving forward in faith and trust. Thank you for holding her in your care.

Keep our Deb safe from the side effects of her treatment, that she may be graced with enthusiasm and trust, reaching ever toward the wholeness that you have to offer.

May she always be aware of the many prayers offered on her behalf -- that she is never alone.

    Dear Heavenly Wonder,

I rejoice to get back onto this site and see some zip in our great Northern Deb. I rejoice in the role model that she is to so many here -- even in her fear and concern she's able to be open and share her journey with others. What a beacon, our Deb.

Thank you for seeing her thru these recent surgeries and for her gradual return to more and more strength, more vim and more enthusiasm.

I ask that you surround her with your mightiest and most compassionate angels, to offer her encouragement for the journey yet ahead.

Blessings upon Deb's family, neighbors and friends -- who can be our arms, wrapping her in care and hugs, while we assail her with words and prayers from a distance.

Be with her each day, and guide her medical team.

    amen.

    Dear Deb:

We had to admit that summer's gone today! The screened porch is bereft of cushions, plants, and decor; the old linens I like to use with the old wicker are gently washing, including my MIL's crocheted tablecloth, a challenge to dry without a clothesline!

I've brought in the wonderful hibiscus bushes and will try to winter them over, perhaps even coaxing them to bloom again. I imagine y'all don't have enough daylight to do that? Anchorage had the most stunning hanging baskets I've ever seen~~~everywhere!!

Here's to improving memory and relaxing joints and diminishing SE's!!

Blessings~~~~~~to you, and to Faith, too!!!

How about pulling some sort of prank on your daughters that makes a memory to last forever.

I can sense your strength returning, as I've seen a couple of your posts round about.

    Hallelujah!!

Here's your babeez update....... now that they've added cereal to the diet, no longer quite as sweetly scented babies that you squeezed earlier. LOL. reality, comes to each of us:
