Storming like mad here as well.
Valerie
-
MB-do you use egg shells in your coffee? I personally don't like coffee but many years ago when I lived on a dude ranch (there's a campfire story you) that is what the cook always put in the coffee over the fire. I don't remember why she did it though.
I might be getting up at 5:00 a.m. since that will be my 8:00 a.m..
33 days and counting.
-
Hey Brenda...............................I'm thinking our 5am is more like your 2am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You won't have to worry about getting up, cuz no one will be sleeping yet! (except me!)
Neesie
-
BMD - countdown please!!!
-
1 month away!
Neesie-I think I will do everything backwards that week just for the fun of it. Let's see 5am and 2am. Can you say port-a-potty? I also might be yelling out for a fan about then as well.LOL
-
LOL Brenda!! If we're doing it all backwards, it'll be potty-a-port!!

hello all...oh am I ever getting excited.
I sell Avon...what can I do? Shall I contact them about their "pink campaign"?
Gotta get the basket done...that will be so much fun.,..this is wine country.
MB...is it easy to find you from Buffalo? How about Rochester? Trying to get Sarah here and it may be cheaper for her to fly into one of those airports than Syracuse, Binghamton or Ithaca.
Hugs all...
-
Hey girls....... I am slowly counting down the days. I so wish it were time to get on the airplane!
Vickie - if you don't mind, see what Avon could do for us. I'm getting pretty darn good asking for things online. LOL I hate doing it face to face. I got a phone call from tatas and will talk with the girl tomorrow. Getting to MB's from Buffalo is kind of like getting there from Niagra Falls. That's where Madison and I are flying into though.
Oh basket..... hmmm I need to start working on that. Thanks for the reminder. Now will someone continue to remind me? LOL
Hugs

I leave MB lovely messages! LOL Seriously.... if you have a question or need something just let me know.
I can't wait to get there!
-
There is a map to MB's house? Please share. Liz, I'll be staying at the same hotel as you and Madison. I'm going to bring some things to eat so I'll need directions to MB's place to unload.
Also, I think Odalys and Bren are still trying to find ways. Did we ever hear from Christine and Donna whether they are coming or not.
I know at one time, Blue and a few others that lived close were talking about coming down maybe on Saturday to be with everyone. Not sure how to get an exact count on this.
Excitement builds and builds ---- Brenda

Hi Kids,
The hotels in every direction for miles around are filled up. Tim said he'd drive me up there, but he sure won't sleep in a tent on an air mattress. We might have to find somewhere a couple of hours away in PA for Fri night and just drive in on Sat and leave Sat night. Does anyone have any suggestions. ????
I could leave him at home, but I'm worried about making the 11 hour drive on my own .. Any more suggestions. ????
My mom will be here visiting from IL that weekend, so I would miss her visit, but she would stay here and take care of my dogs for me and Tim wouldn't have to miss 4 days of work.
The cheapest flights to Buffalo are $350, the same as it would cost me to fly to SD to see my grandbabies. arrghhh.
I know this seems last minute ... but I've been trying to figure something out for awhile now.
Thanks friends for any ideas.
Love,
Bren
-
Bren - can you drive to my place in NJ? It should take you about 7 hours. You can hitch a ride the rest of the way with me & my gf.
MB -is there enough room in my trailer for one or 2 more?
-
Hey Val,
What day and time are you leaving?? Where in NJ are you?? I forgot.
And I just found a hotel in Bradford, PA, on hwy 219 just south of Olean with 2 dbl beds for $98 a night.
Thanks for the offer. I'll talk to Tim and see what we can figure out.
-
Bren-Your are still trying to come. That is so cool. We could have all 3 Brenda's after all. I hope it all works out for you.
-
Opps! Almost forgot. 23 days until Pinkstock!
-
Would you lovely ladies welcome some YSC gals to the party? I'm trying to get a weekend planned for October in NC, but don't think it is going to gel. We went to the Smokies last year. Your Pinkstock idea is fabulous. Also, the price is right. We rented a big house last year in TN. Don't worry, I would understand if you want to limit this to regular bc.org gals, especially at this late date. I'm not over here much at all and have been staying off bc boards most of the time lately, but am regretting not having another Smokies trip this year and feel the need to bond with some sistahs.
I await your honest responses.
Michelle
-
Michelle ... you GOTTA go!!! I missed it last year and am trying hard to get there this year. Are you in SC? I'm in VA about an hour north of Greensboro.
Jump right in ... I know we'd all love to have you. If you google Olean, NY, on Orbitz.com, you can find a couple of hotels with an hour of MB's house. Or fly into Buffalo and drive 1 1/2 hours south.
Keep us posted!!
Bren
-
Okay.... let me see if I can answer everyone, please be patient. LOL
Naniam, I'll have to find who has a map to MB's. Maybe Madison. I'll call her later. When will you be arriving? Donna & Christine aren't going to make it this year. I spoke with Donna and she said she's still paying off last year.
Bren, I'm sure we can find room for you. Bradford isn't that far away. That's where MB took Madison and I last year to rent a car. It would be great for you to come!
Michelle, our moto is the more the merrier. I'm not sure if MB can get more trailers but I do know there are tents and air mattresses available. It's great fun - something I wouldn't miss. Let me know what you guys decide. How many etc.
Okay back to work for me........... I'll check in later.
