    Chicken wings ..good idea ... along with the fried turkeys... yumm...but not healthy..I promise to have green salad anyway... on the list...

    Neesie.. fried turkey is easy... I promised easy so I can play this year....

    MB,

    I have a set of the Dollar General wings - looks like ant wings on an elephant so this should be really goooood for pictures!!!

    I'm planning on bring some baked potato salad, precooked bacon and some ham and turkey for sandwiches, if you can use those items.    Do I need to bring bologna for the kids sandwiches?   Gonna have to check and see if I have extra chairs.  Bringing you some mystery books, think you said you would enjoy those and I have lots that I've read,  Oh, need to get some packable things for the basket too.   

    What am I missing?  Gonna need some directions from the hotel to your house so I can get the food to you before Friday morning.

    MB - I talked to CasinoGirl last week but not for long.  I'll try to call her this week and find out what their plans are.

    I thought of Avon also but don't have a contact.

    My airline has changed my flight up - I have a 50 minute layover at O'Hare.  Hopefully, I'll be able to stay in the same terminal otherwise, I'll be hustling!  LOL  Doesn't matter - I'll get there.

    Can't wait to see everyone.

    Thanks for the wings MB. I haven't even thought about the basket thing. Do the items actually need to be in a basket?

    I have never had fried turkey. I would love to try that.

    Brenda-My kids do not like bologna. They like the other lunch meats though.

    I am so ready to leave today. We are having hot humid kind of weather this week so I am trying to spend some time outside to get ready for the east coast.

    BMD... its freezing here.. I have a turtleneck & over shirt...lol.. feel like winter... a week of rain and cold weather.. are you sure...

    Nan... not many bologna lovers here either...but I will take what ever... if you are coming in Thursday... I can meet you and show you the way.... hoping crazy Bob gets me the extra fridge soon...lol... and yes they are little tiny fairy wings..lol... should be some really great pictures....

    Ok things are really falling into place now... lining up turkeys.. fried is great... will have it Friday ... umm..

    baskets.. nope don't have to be in real baskets.. I have many at my house to choose from if you want remember some have to pack them and ship them...

    MB...........is Tim warming your house or did he get his own house????  Isn't he the basement dweller with the LIZARD????????????????

    Newbies........about baskets..........some of the things from last year..(like I remember!)...........I filled mine with some items like a Pic. Frame that I think said 'Friends' on it.A willow tree angel,  A candle and a few other things...........but I also Put in a bottle of MI wine and I believe MI jam and such from the orchard...........never thought about the things having to travel on a airplane.  The basket I received was cleverly (thanks Liz!) put together in a "Pinkstock" tote bag and included ALOT.........cookbook from OK.......book on OK.......wonderful spices and rubs........a gift card and 2 precious little bears decked out in OK outfits! This might give you an idea of what's going on!

    Hi  everyone.  Just want to let you know my plans have changed.  I went back to work today and the facility is implementing a major electronic system on July 1st.  DH is pouting because I am not going to be able to take off a week to drive up in the truck.  Bummer!  I'm going to check the airlines to see if there are any flights out of Miami on Friday returning Sunday.  I'll keep you posted.

     Ok...so we are doing baskets this year?  Missed it last year.

    Have been thinking of posting all of last years pics...Not sure if there is a thread here or not...I know we started a couple different things but I"m not sure if all the pics are in one place. 

    Are we tie dying shirts?  Was that last year? 

    I'll be bringing yarn, crochet hooks, etc.

     Hey Miss Vickie - so good to see you!  Yep, we're doing baskets (least I think we are)  my brain doesn't work after 5pm nowadays.  Can't wait to see you guys......  Tie dying shirts?  Hmmm I didn't do that...... LOL  Don't think that's in the plan but you never know.  New camera?  I keep dropping mine but it keeps on working.  LOL

    OD - well shucks........ hopefully you'll figure something out..... I hate that things have changed for you.

    OK sorry been away...

    Baskets..please just remenber some must fly home or I must mail..

    OK those fence sitters... I would rather have an empty trailer than not enough... please I need a count of those that MIGHT stay on the hill...

    I have spent the last few days playing with the girls and making  a princess room

    mowing and trailers getting ready... porta potty ordered.. boy scouts contacted..

    band stuff..still working on it...

    lighting and menus done..

    is it time yet.. are you here yet..

    NB - is there a list of things you still need that we can bring? For ex. I have a 30 cup coffee maker, stuff like that.  Let me know.  I all ready bought a few surprises I'm still looking for more.  Vickie - sure hope you have a big enough trunk!!! lol.

    Val... as everyone will tell you the only I need is a little sanity... chairs would help, but i do have enough I think... and I do coffee over the fire...lol.... unless your up at 5 am like me.
