Northern Star: I found another thread where you were catching folks up-to-date and it sounds so positive, so encouraging. I'm sure you're sharing the happy highlights and bet the roller coaster ride is all too real still..... but it sounds like prayers are indeed being answered.
Thank you heavenly care-givers for bringing us treatments in our time, reasons for hope, the hint of a future. Please hold our precious Deb in your compassionate hands as she continues to confront the various side effects that treatment bring. Send her strength for today.
-
We're all standing here beside you, shoulder-to-shoulder:

holding hands on your behalf.............

How do you get ANYTHING done? I would be playing with bb's all the time

The sun is out today and my DH rototilled (sp?) the garden and it smelled like SUMMER!
Kiss the darling babies for me....
Hugs
Deb C
-
Hallelujah for smells of summer. We used to have a roto-tiller in an earlier chapter of our lives. Can't remember where it went when we "down-sized"...... that was the chapter of incredible gardens -- primarily for the butterflies, because the deer ate all of our attempts at produce. We kept trying, but they always won in the end.
Just want you to know that I am always including you in my prayers.... asking for strength and courage in the face of the side effects that result from your attack on this monster.

a good morning hug and lots of prayers on your behalf to start my day.
just want you to know that these babies that you are special-northern-guardian-auntie to are growing like weeds. we will take them next week and find out what they weigh, officially.
we're starting to look like zombies from the lack of sleep. LOL. when i'm up with them in the middle of the night i pray that you're sleeping soundly.... and that the bears have all wandered back deeper into the woods.
may your day be filled with nonsense, giggles, laughter, hilarity, and just a smidgen of goofball. i think that laughing in the face of all this craziness must make the C so frustrated. hahahahaha. take that.
know that i am holding you up in my prayers -- continually asking for relief from any fear and anxiety and all side effects. i pray for your medical team that they might be brilliant on your behalf. i pray for your family, that they are given extra insightful things to say and do. i pray for your friends and neighbors that they shower you with support. i pray that your friends here bolster your strength and give you courage to face down this bear-of-yours.
xx00xx00xx00xx00xx00xx00xx
how are your friends managing since the funeral? i continue to hold them up as well -- as your stories are woven together in my heart.
-
happy bouncy babies here.......sending you baby, lovin' smells
-
made it safely to Chicago and am plugged in to wish you strength and courage for today.
many wishes asking all fairies and sprites to treat you to serendipitous shananigans that make you tingle with the hilarity of it all... some sort of funniness that wakes up your heart to how amazing this life is.
yesterday i was driving on the highway @ 70 mph, when the pick up next to me lost an ENORMOUS heavy-duty ladder off the back end of his truck. it made me realize how very precariously we are all teathered to this planet. i'm sending you some extra duct tape to help you stick tighter to earth.
hugs my debC
-
You must be an Alaskan at heart....duct tape and wd-40 and you can fix anything
Glad the ladder missed you! spooky stuff. Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes...I'll take all I can get these days! I will take lots of photos of my henna party tomorrow. That should give us all lots of laughs
Still not sure what type of tattoo I will be getting...but it will be fun!Hugs

back from my whirlwind trip from the Windy city -- and it was windy!! and cold.
i'll send ya a whole great big barrel of WD-40 to go with your duct tape and you'll be set
get those henna pics up here just as soon as they're ready
prayers for you tonight and for the weekend ahead. do something exciting: like take a ride on your roto-tiller (hmmmm. that sounds slightly off color to me, after 7 hours in the car??? especially in the same sentence as the word prayers.)
my sentiment is sincere, even if it's not very profound
be happy

this little piggy went to the market

You're making it, one step at a time. The ups. The downs. The side effects. All temporary. All temporary. All temporary.
Keep thinking long term, while you take care of yourself short term.
prayers, deb. prayers.
-
sending you prayers for tonight -- for a good night's sleep, free from worries or concerns
i'm asking for the universe to shower you with mercy and blessings.
i'm asking for all the best from your medical team.... their best efforts on your behalf.
