Hello ladies, I sure have started a fire here. Sorry! The man I talk to is very sweet. I do not need to smell him. He is a very respectful man. And, he is very thoughtful. He loves me. He has not conned me in any way. I have very good judgement at what I see in him. Yes, he has tried to get a Visa to come here to see me for when I have my Surgery. But, he has not had any luck with that. He can not get a Visa. He is willing and all, to pay my Air flight round trip to Morocco when the time comes. Like I did say, He is sending his public papers from the consulty there, and I will be looking over them and making sure everything is legit. Please do not worry your pretty heads here.
Good God! Get a life!
God Bless you All,
Kaloni

Sorry Kaloni but you did invite us into your life and since personally I have no life or maybe I should say no love life then I am going to live it through yours........I am sick and tired of always worrying about cancer......my children are rapidly growing up.......one is away at college and the other is in high school.........divorced after being married for 29 years and I promise that if for some reason this doesn't work out I will never ever say I told you so.......I will hand you a virtual tissue and help you dry your tears and if it does work out and you go to Morocco then I want pictures..........Shokk

Hi There Shokk, Yes, I do understand your feelings here. We all are different aren't we? Even our Cancers are different. You know, I am 41 years old. I never been married and I have no children. After my Cancer, I changed. Mentally and Physically. My taste in things have changed. It is so very strange. I figured I have nothing to lose here in life. I already hit rock bottom when I got diagnosed with Cancer. So, I met a very sweet man from another country. A man I can be in love with. A man I can maybe share my life with someday. And, Yes, I will show you pictures.
God Bless,

I have a friend who met a man through a well known singles sight. They chatted for months and she was in love. Long story short...it was a scam and she's out almost $30,000.00. She contacted the FBI but since he was from Nigeria, it was out of their jurisdiction.
On the other hand...I met my husband in a singles chat room 7 years ago. We live 4 hours apart. We were engaged, but broke it off because none of our kids wanted to move to the others area. In October of 2006 we got back together and set a wedding date for October 13, 2007. I was diagnosed with BC in March of 2007. Yep, he married me! Bald, bloated and in love! Who's to say what's right for who? Follow your heart, think with a clear mind and live life to the fullest...

I just want to point out how easy it is to 'fall in love' with someone over the internet. We only see the parts of someone they show and we fill in the rest with the way we want it to be.
While there are definitely people who meet and get married that met online, there are many more who ended up saying to themselves after meeting, "What in the world was I thinking?"
Just be careful and guard your heart!! Be careful about even thinking you're in love with someone you never met.
It is somewhat upsetting for you to say, "What is wrong with the ladies here?" You clarified it by saying we're not adventurous. Someone who has been married for years may be at a point in life where being comfortable with her mate is wonderful. And yes, some of us may be obsessed with BC at the moment. Is that so shocking? Some may believe that learning as much as possible to prevent BC from returning is of utmost importance at this time.
I might add that there are great adventures going on by lots of the ladies here. Trips and outings and events with the kids are taking place daily. Many of us work very hard and may not have lots of energy left over to be adventurous, but we all have our little adventures at times! Life is an adventure. We may not be online falling in love, but that doesn't mean there is something wrong with us or that we're boring (although, I freely admit I'm boring). LOL
I do feel from reading your posts over the last months that you are prone to depression and I hope if this love connection doesn't work out, you will not crash too hard. You are a beautiful person within yourself and your happiness cannot be determined by others. I do wish you the best.

Kaloni~
I am also 41, never been married and no kids (by choice). I long for the day when I feel good enough about my new body and self after BC to be falling in love with anyone! Right now, i'd like to fall in love with myself again. Get my own mojo back.
There are good people everywhere and bad, too. I've done tons of internet dating (all local) and have meet some great people, some duds (for me) and a couple of creeps.
I'm also planning a trip to Morocco, to visit a woman I met through blogging and I'm very excited. You are old enough to travel anywhere in the world you want by yourself, for heavens sake! I say, go for it, have a wonderful trip...and you are probably way overdue for a vacation! Live your best life and find love where you can. Maybe this guy will be the love of your life, maybe he will be a wonderful vacation fling in the end...who knows? The point is, you are ALIVE and should enjoy yourself and your body and life!
peace, sister. Full report when you get back, please. You're inspiring!
check out my friend's blog, it's very cool: www.moroccanmaryam.typepad.com

Hi Tay, Oh, I just want to thank You so much for coming here. I figured I better check in here. I just had a Hysterectomy on May 1. Yes, they took all the woman parts out. Ha. I am doing OK. I am just taking some of that good Percocet to relieve some pain. You know, I agree with you about getting the mojo back. I am taking my time. I never have met anyone like him online before. It is very strange. And, sometimes I sit back and wonder if this is my real soul mate. Have you ever been to Morocco? What part of Morocco are you going to visit? Yes, I would like to go visit him. But, I am going to wait a while and get to know him online first. He speaks little English, but he understands it more. He writes a little English and reads a little. He wants to learn to speak it more so. So, I am giving him English lessons. I talk to him through Skype on the computer with my earphones. Boy, he sure does have a accent. He speaks French and Arabic. Ha. His Father is a English Teacher, and translates for him, which helps him alot when we are talking on the phone. I am going to send him an American English Dictionary to help with his English lessons. Well, Hopefully someday I will be able to understand him better. Ha. I am so glad you came here sweetie. It is a small world afterall. Yes, I will visit your friends blog. Thank You. And, I will read yours too. I hope to talk to you again. Take Care.
God Bless You,
Kaloni

Hi Kaloni~
How's it going? I am hoping to go to Morocco next spring, to Marrakech. That's where my blogger friend lives. I've never been before, but always wanted to! Last year I went on my dream vacation (where I always thought I'd take a honeymoon...but finally said WHY WAIT!) to Greece and it was amazing, very inspiring, I still think of it daily.
Sending happy thoughts your way~

Hi Tay, I am doing good. I am still recovering here from the Hysterectomy I had May 1. It is so nice I found you here. And, you are going to Morocco! You know, I never been there. And, I am also thinking about around Springtime too. I don't want to go when it is real hot. Yes, they say it is a beautiful place. I did go to your friend's blog. That is neat. And, very interesting. And, yes I will be visiting yours too. For me, I only have a Carepage through Carepages. You will see me there. Well, I better get some rest here. Take Care Tay. Bye.
God Bless You,
