I felt so sorry for Shane and almost knew where she was headed before she even started. The poor girl just runs scared everytime the slightest hint of committment arises. She was just acting out by hooking up with Nikki. Jenny just happened to catch them.

Jodi's show was sooooooooooo mean! I hated her so much after that that I found myself wishing that Marlee Matlin would screw up on Dancing With the Stars! Hey, I don't claim to be rational, y'all!

Alice is just being selfish and immature. I could never fathom why she'd become so involved with someone who clearly had different socio-political leanings from hers. It's so clear that she is against Tasha's decision to be a cop. On the other hand, I think that Tasha should have at least discussed her intentions with Alice before just leaping into it. So I guess that they're not gonna make it, but I'll bet there will be plenty of fireworks next season as they slowly & painfully break up.

Does anyone think that Bette and Tina will get pregnant again or is that done?

I hope that Helena brings Dusty back to town. They are both so hot! And Helena's mother is hilarious!

OMG Marin,I thought I was the only one who hoped Marlee tanked on Dancing with the Stars after how mean Jodi was to Bette. LOL-- we take our L-Word very seriously hehe!.

I have to disagree with you about Tasha and her intentions of becoming a cop. I don't think she needed to discuss it with Alice in that Alice only superficially discussed her job with the talk show with Tasha. Alice, in my opinion, basically just said, "you think this is great, don't you? It's all about me right?" LOL. Maybe we're being too hard on Alice with our years of wisdon ;)-- isn't she just 25 or so?

25???? Somehow, I had all of the L Word chicks pegged as 30-somethings, with Kit, Bette and Tina being at the more seasoned top 'o the range and Jenny and Max at the younger years. Then I'd placed Shane and Alice at mid-30s. Strange...I wonder how I came up with those ideas?

Anyway, I hear ya, Amy, about Alice taking the TV job w/o consulting Tasha, but it's my opinion that, although neither should necessarily have asked for permission or anything, it would have been, at the very least, a loving & considerate thing to do to consult the other on the career decisions.

Yeah, as crazy as it is, I don't think I'll ever be a MM fan after the Jodi role she's played. The only way Marlee can redeem herself in my eyes is to get up in my face with an entirely different, lovable character. I'm thinkin' she doesn't care about pleasing me though....? Undecided

You're probably right about the ages Marin. I thought Alice was in the younger set. I agree with what you're saying about a loving conversation. That would be the healthy way to handle things-- but this is the L Word.

I've never really liked MM, although I admire her. She's been on L&O SVU twice and I didn't like her character on their either.

I was having coffee with two of my girlfriends and we were discussing women (like Anne Heche) who waffle between gay & straight. One friend quoted Jodi and I don't remember her saying this, though it's hilarious! She said: "Women are like spaghetti....straight until wet."

Do you all remember Jodi saying that?

Marin, I'm not sure if I consider Anne Heche in that group ;) -- I see her more in the head case group - straight-gay-sees aliens-says she has another person inside her-straight- Tongue out

I don't remember Jodi saying that either...
