Any one into LOST or FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS?!

I w/ agree w/ you regarding the person in the coffin, but that baby... there's more to it... as usual! LOL
-
Whoo-hoo! Thanks, Naughty!!!!
I can't believe I just now found the thread, but I freakin' LOVE Lost!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am getting so totally confused this season, and that makes it all the more addictive.Ok, now I have to go back and read the rest of the thread.
See you all after the next episode!!! -
Ok, about Jin.....I think that was a flash-back, and Sun was a flash-forward. Jin, I believe, is definitely dead.
Oooohhhh......Michael! I can't wait to see what happens with that. I totally wasn't sure about the whole boat storyline, but now that the captain told all, I'm intrigued as heck.
The whole time moving differently on the island thing is wacky, too.So, who else thinks that Kate is totally buff? I always envy how completely LEAN she is.
-
Friday night lights .....LOVE IT!
-
Kate's buffed body... OMG! I have a tire that sits between my boobs and the "Bermuda Triangle" LOL.... I am literally thinking about asking Santa for some kind of job to make me lean, like Kate, so I can wear all the pants and skirts w/o elastic on them!
Jin dying... hum... I still believe that he's alive... that's it, my $ on Jin being alive.
FNL: I NEED MY FIX!!!!!!!!!!!! Running of fumes is not fun! When is it coming back?!
-
Yeah..Jin with the panda was a flashback to the beginning of their marriage - that's why he said they were only married for 2 months so far..then they went forward to her delivery - where he is dead. I think they were trying to show the life he was leading prior to the plane crash and her affair..I wonder how he died....
-
Actually, we don't know if he died FOR REAL. Remember, the lie that the Oceanic 6 tell everyone is that there 8 survivors of the original crash and only they, 6 of them, are survivors now. We know that there were many many more survivors and that they are still on the island and everyone is not saying anything to protect them for some reason.
So, is Jin dead? Maybe he is alive on the Island and they are pretending he is dead with a tombstone and all.
-
Rocktober,
Good memory! I applaud your not-chemo-brained point on the 8 survivors. I totally forgot (as I do on most of the little details and bug my poor dh about).
-
Rocktober..that's what my mom said too...I hope that's what it was...I guess I was confused by her crying
-
I'm just wondering when they are going to show new episodes.
-
April 24
-
Thanks!
-
FNL has been renewed for 13 episodes for next season and will air on direct tv first, since direct tv is paying most of the production costs.
-
I've looked for FNL but I never see when it is on. Is that on HBO?
-
Ok, so about Jin, my dh reads the discussion boards about Lost all the time, and he said that the people with HD tv who manically watch and rewind in slow-mo all said that the date on Jin's headstone was "wrong...."
I apologize, I can't remember for the life of me what it was, and what it should be, but that does back the theory that Jin isn't really dead. Not that I believe it. Who knows.
-
FNL is on friday nights from 9-10 on NBC but it's over for the season. It's a great show, tremendous acting and writing.
-
Regarding Jin's headstone, it says:
The date of death listed on Jin's tombstone - September 22, 2004 - is the same date flight 815 crashed. Jin's tombstone says:
The tomb of Kwon, Jin Soo
Date of birth: November 27, 1974
Date of death: September 22, 2004
Wife: Paik, Sun Hwa
(Sun's) date of birth: March 20, 1980
-----
Now, we know he didn't die on 9/22 ... so the whole thing is a cover-up. Maybe he dies before the rescue or maybe he's on the Island. I did read somewhere that there is an error on the tombstone but it has to do with the Korean language and someone goofed, not an intentional thing just a script/writer error. Don't know what it is tho anymore, forgot.

You rule, "Runs With Beer!" Thank you!

Michael Ausiello over at TVGuide.com has an interesting tidbit about an upcoming post-strike episode of Lost, so if you want to be 100 percent spoiler free, stop reading now.
Here's what he says:
"An upcoming, post-strike episode will feature the same male character at different ages, described as 'sweet, shy, tentative and smart' at 5 and 'angry, a little nerdy, defiant and rebellious' at 16. Also, said male character has green eyes. The same episode also features a redheaded teenaged girl who is 'emotional, prone to dramatic gestures, and passionately in love.' Who are we talking about here?"
As Ausiello also points out, the most obvious answer is that we'll be seeing more of Ben and Annie. However, his mole also tells him that this is going to be a Locke-centric episode. Either his mole is wrong, or somehow Locke has a connection to Ben's past that we were previously unaware of. Any theories?------------------------
See for me, I don't think it's obvious. I would think the red-head is Charlotte. And the boy could be Ben or even Sawyer (but I don't know the color of eyes of either one). No one said that the two had to be kids at the same time or in the same place or even interact.. Could be two different time periods if it's Charlotte and Ben.
-
One more day!
-
Ditto. Can't wait.
This season is the bomb genious.
-
OH my word!!!!!! What a crazy episode! This season is so chock full of events. I cannot believe what happened to Ben's daughter. I just knew his plan would backfire when he started talking like that. And just what did it serve by killing her? Those mercenaries weren't going to get him faster by killing her, it just made them realize they were all going to die.
-
I'm just not sure about where Lost is going after last night...
I can't even put it into words, but after watching that episode last night, I felt like I was watching some young boys playing guns-that scene just before Ben's daughter was killed? The way they just kept choreographing their moves while holding their rifles cocked and ready to shoot and yelling at each other to keep away from the door? And the scene where Sawyer was yelling at the other survivors to get down? "Get down!!" One gets killed...."Get down!!!" Another idiot gets killed by running out. "Get down!!!" Another one runs out?!?!!?
Does that make any sense? It just wasn't doing it for me yesterday.
This is going to sound so dumb-I'm excited to see that Jack gets sick next week. Enough with the mercenaries.
-
We are supposed to somehow see how the 6 get off the Island and how Aaron ends up with Kate. Claire must die or get hurt and Hurley must be the one to save Aaron is what I am guessing. I wonder if they use Ben's secret door to get out??
-
Hey Rock-you never said if that is your hair in the picture! That's you now?! Your hair looks freakin' awesome!
-
Yep, that's me now. I even did my own color/highlighting!!
------
Anybody watch Lost? I couldn't believe it!!!!!
-
Do you remember how the season started? With Jack at the airport calling Kate, he looks disgruntle and keeps on saying that "they need to go back"... and Kate says... "she has to go back home, you know how he gets..." Circle... complete full circle...
Still loving each episode!
Don't forget tonight, a new one!
-
I am so more confused than ever!!!!!!!!! Claire... dead or not dead?!?!?! And Jack's father... in the cabin w/ Claire... man, I am spinning!
-
Don't forget that Claire and Jack have the same dad......
I was totally confused the entire episode. I kept making dh stop the show and explain stuff to me.
-
Remember John Locke being invited as a teen to Mittelos camp ... mittelos ..
scrambled is Lost time. Mittelos was also the company that recruited Juliette to come work for them. Remember it was that Richard Alpert, the same one that was testing Locke, that was recruiting Juliette. Ethan was part of that group, too. So, it seems that the Others have had their eye on John for a long time. I wonder how much Ben knew of John Locke.
Did you see the comic book when he was a kid? It said something on the cover about a Hidden Island.
