Well, that just flat out SUCKS, AE!!! Can I join in the rant please? I was furious with bootface before I heard this news. Have any of you noticed how many wonderful ladies from these boards have been taken from us by bootface in recent weeks? I have, and it makes me want to SCREAM!!!!!!! It's just not fair!!! I could spit fire right about now!!!
You hang in there, AE. I'm so sorry that you're having to go through this again.
Bbl my dear friends. I'm going to go throw cold water in my face. My head feels like it's going to explode.
xoxoxoxo

Sue, I love to get on here and read your rants... I just feel so energized by them! You are a warrior princess, you are! Thank you for cursing it so well.
AE, that just super-sucks that you have to wait so long. I can relate to your delay--same thing happened to me for my first attempt at stereotactic biopsy back in August 07--the inexperienced radiologist was too nervous about hitting the chest wall and after 2 hours of twisting me around (and lots of Xanax for me) he just gave up and sent me home... told me to have a surgical biopsy six weeks later! I freaked out and called my referring doctor who sent me to a cancer center where I had a top-notch radiologist perform a perfect stereotactic biopsy a week later and two weeks later had a lumpectomy... all before that six weeks that I'd have had to wait...
The doctors at the cancer center told me that waiting and waiting causes undo anxiety so they just try to move as quickly as possible...
It sounds like, although you have to wait, it won't be six weeks (thank goodness). I'm holding your hand in spirit while you wait...
Sheila, thank you for clarifying what a "Wiggie" is. I am sending you a PM so I can get the email with your modified instructions. I am just thrilled to learn that there is something I may be able to do to help. I love to crochet too so I am really excited about it. They look so cute and comfortable too.
I got my fill today and it wasn't too bad. I asked them to go easy because it is Easter coming up and my kids are home and I wanted to be able to cook for them and not be in pain. I got my wish! Only 45cc put in for a grand total of 715! Then I got to see my plastic surgeon who measured me and said I am about done! I will go next week for one more fill and then I was told surgery to get the implants will be in June!!! I walked out of the office with a grin from ear to ear. I smiled all the way home... Finally, after all these months I am seeing the end off in the distance.
Shirlann, I'm glad your cut and paste worked for you. Wish I could send you my compter-programmer son to figure it all out for you. He's home for the week and sure helps me get stuff straightened out--half the time he says "Google it" though, LOL! He says just type in to Google whatever your problem is and most likely someone else has had it... I told him that was fine for him to do but my problem is understanding the solution once I find it... *I love my babies (23 son, 21 daughter)...
Hugs to you all.
-
Shirlann, pm me if you like and I'll join the troubleshooting crew. We can figure this out. It's something simple, that's why it can't be found.
I just got back from the tit store. One bennie of having a bilateral is that you're not stuck with one size. My "dress" boobs are C cup, my "everyday" boobs are either A or B or flat, depending on my mood. Hey...you gotta find something good in this crazy world!!!
Save me a place by the cauldron, AE, while I figure out which size would go best.

Well, this may be only temporary, but I will take what I can get! If I hit the bold, my toothpick comes back. The suggestion to Google toothpick was good, but the info was too technical for me to understand.
Sue, sweetie, it is the damn steroids. You are on a "high", except, you don't want to be. Shoot, this thing just goes on and on.
Hang on, honey, just go day by day. It is 6:30pm here in San Diego. So too early to sleep. So pretend you are here and don't WANT to go to sleep. You are right about the mallet. Do you have a product called Sleepinal? It works well for me and it is over the counter, let me know and I will send you some. Zippy's flea meds should come soon. You can try the stuff (be careful none of it gets anywhere he can reach it, I think they say between the ears).
I am so happy to be back, if only in bold.
Love you all, Shirlann
-
OK, Sue...
Shirlann, Bold becomes you!
-
Yay Shirlann! It's good to have you bold n' back...
Sue, maybe some relaxing music will help take your mind off it all...
Judie, I just love your description of what the different boobies are for... what a neat way of using the sizes as an accessory to your outfit, really. I just think that's cool that you can have such a positive, adventurous, creative approah to dressing...
Great way to look at it all... thanks for sharing that.
-
Hi ladies. OK , it is after midnight. I just wanted to say bye, and I wish you all a very blessed Easter. Love to you all. xxxx Melody

HAHHAHHAHA Towhee I love the mallet..lolololol..a few more hits .... lol xxx

Ok. There's definitely something weird going on with the environment. It was snowing here a minute ago. It's let up now, but that's still very strange.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs,
Karen

Everyone's wired and weird lately. What stage is the moon?
My report for day#2: SPACEY. A little fuzzy headed, like I have a little hangover (slight pressure but no pain in my head, things a little out of focus...I have to correct spelling on just about every other word I type).
AE, I am so upset for you, too. I know that kind of frustration...my newest mantra is WAITING IN NOT AN OPTION! I hated it when I heard people say things like "That's not acceptable!" when they didn't like the options, but those were certainly not in life and death situations, more like the choices in after-dinner coffees. I think all contingenies should be covered when things like this happen so they can immediately go to Plan B when Plan A goes awry.
Karen, we have nice sunny weather but it's chilly, chilly, chilly. Our preciptation came through earlier this week, but if we had all that rain now, we'd have a few feet of snow. Snow for Easter? Well, I guess in some parts of the country they will this year.
OK, I feel like taking a nap. Later.
-
Hi sisters, please forgive me, it looks like I am screaming at you, I am not. Just nothing for a cursor unless I hit the "bold" thingy. So, next time I will try the smiley face. All is well here, packing and arranging for the fur-babies. Does anyone know if I can take my small, portable DVD player through the Gestapo in security? Does anyone know?
Sighhh, I am gettting frustrated!
Hugs, Shirlann

It wasn't a problem when we took ours with us to Disneyland, Shirlann. I think it was with our carry-on stuff.
Hugs,
Karen
-
And stop yelling at us!!! Just teasing
. At least you can post when you do it in boldface. I can't imagine why you have no curser otherwise. Strange.
Hugs,
Karen -
Quiet around here tonight. Hope everyone is having a good night.
Haven't seen Ulla or Lisa around much lately. Hope you ladies are OK.
bbl,
AE

I am here! Just busy yesterday...and worked all day today. And I think it was Judie who asked...I work for the airlines. So I am at the airport. I actually work right now in the baggage service office. So I deal with disgruntled passengers! Fun, fun!
AE...I am so sorry, that you have to wait for your biopsy!! That is just not right!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Sue, ranted and raved very well for you!! Go Sue!!
Shirlann...since I know first hand about what can go through the security check point...Karen is correct..no problems carrying a portable dvd player. Enjoy your movie and your trip!!
Mel...glad you got your books..enjoy! I know you have left...but still want to wish you a peaceful and relaxing trip and a loving visit with your family. You left just in time....we are supposed to get another 5 inches of SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ENOUGH SNOW....HELLO...IT'S SPRING...NO MORE SNOW!!!!
ok...done..haha
Sue...try and get some sleep dear! Don't ever yell at me about working too long...you are a work horse yourself...and without sleep...HOW DO YOU DO IT???? Rest sweetie!
I am going to go grab something to eat! xoxo

I forgot...my ps said, everything looked great, and that I was healing very well. He said go and resume normal activity. So yeah.....I can sweep now!! I am telling work that I will lift bags at 8 weeks, which is only 1 week away. He said I can run....so I am happy about that!!!!!!!!!
-
Yay, Lisa!! Life is getting back to normal. I'm so happy for you!!
Hugs,
Karen
-
AHA, I got the cursor with the emoticon, but also, I am STILL yelling at you all. No, I am not, just can't help it.
Good for you Lisa! Love that good news.
Sue must have finally gone to sleep.
KAREN!!!! Supper is ready!!!! See, that is your mom, that is yelling....HAHHHAAAA
I love all you silly gals, Shirlann
-
Shirlann - your'e back and your not "shouting" any more! When do you leave for the Amazon? Makes me think of that Don Mclean song "On the Amazon, the prophylactics prowl On the Amazon, the hypodermics howl On
the Amazon, you'll hear a scarab scowl and sting zodiacs on the wing"!Lisa - Soo happy to hear your are doing so well! What a woman!
Sheila - I wish I could crochet! The little caps look great. A woman in my support group last year knitted a whole bag of caps a bit like that, out of the feather yarn and handed them around to all the ladies doing chemo.
Nancy, I hope your s/e's don't get any worse. How often do you have your treaments and how many? Gentle hugs to you.
Sue - I'm thinking of you and sending you healing thoughts. After Tuesday it will be only 3 tx! Then 2! Soon - ZERO! We will have to have a big cyberparty here for you!
Karen, how are you feeling after another week of rads? You are probably feeling pretty tired by now. Gentle hugs to you.
AE - it's so unfair that you have to wait even longer for your biopsy. Damn it!
Hugs and love to everyone,
Jane xxxx
-

-
Well, Judie did it, she fixed my cursor problem! YEAHHHH, Sue, lovey, you are going to crash like a double decker red London bus! I must say, you are an AMAZON WOMAN!!!!!
Only way to put you to sleep is to watch American TV for 3 straight hours.
I loved Fawlty Towers with John Cleese, and we get "Keeping Up Appearances", I love Onslow and his wife and sleazy daughter. We love that show. See, I am trying to put you to sleep.
Judie, how in the world did you know what was wrong with my cursor????
I really can't imagine the size of the brain that could figure that out.
I am truly blown away.
Genius Judy,
Love you all, Shirlann -
Gotta be quick. It's late and we're just cooking dinner.
Advice to all: If you are having gremlins suddenly in your computer, reboot. If you are having gremlins on the Internet, clear out your Internet cache. Kind of the all-purpose band-aids. If those don't work, start troubleshooting.
Glad I could help, Shirlann. Hope you can relax now and start packing!
Judie
-
Sue, I hope you're asleep! You need your rest--I worry about you so much. How can your body heal when you're running on empty like this? I'll be so glad when you're done with this darn chemo! Trust me, the rads will make you VERY sleepy. All I want to do is sleep. zzzzzzzzzz.......Ooops! Dozed off for a sec
.
Wow, Judie. I'm very impressed! You fixed Shirlann's "pencil" (it's so cute when you call it that, Shirlann). I guess I'll know who to talk to the next time my computer gives me trouble.
Well, my eyes are slowly falling shut. You're right about the tiredness, Jane. I'm sooooo glad tomorrow's Saturday and I can stay in bed past 5:30.
G'night everyone. Love you all!!
Hugs,
Karen
-
Ok, I'll bite - what the heck is an Internet cache and how do I fix it??hahahaha
AE
-
Yawn...stretch...
After a very late night, here I am up before enough rest. This darned pain sure limits time in bed! I wish the lack of sleep were related to things like spring cleaning, Sue, but like the others I worry about my little Energizer Bunny. Please don't let your batteries get drained! All these bootface meds make our bodies and minds twist and shout, but in the end we will know it was just a strange victory dance. So, everyone who is tired, hurting, waiting, scared....let's dance!
Any fun Easter plans, anyone? Today I'm coloring eggs with the grandson and baking hot cross buns. Tomorrow we are having guests for dinner. Our menu is a bit odd...a combination of Chinese and American. Cumin lamb, Szechuan green beans, scalloped potatoes, peach cobbler with ice cream. It should be good, though. My Chinese DIL is a good cook, though she doesn't like to do anything fancy and never uses a recipe. Her beans have become famous in my family.
Cheers dear sisters!
Judie

g'morning AE!
LOL...the Internet cache is bits and pieces of web sites your computer tucks away so that you don't have to wait for the whole thing to load every time. Sometimes something in it gets corrupted, and that web site starts acting funny. Deleting everything in the cache and starting fresh will fix it.
Where is it, you ask? In Internet Explorer:
Tools > Internet Options > "General" tab, under "Browsing History" > "Delete" > "Temporary Internet History" > "Delete Files".
How's your morning?
Judie

NOTICE TO EVERYONE: TOWHEE IS A GENIUS!!!!
Why would the computer want to save all my searches when I don't want to do that and I don't want it to do that and I didn't tell it to do that and when it got too full where was the error message telling me to do what you told me to do, I hate Microsoft!
Towhee, is that the name of a bird? I think it is.
Well, now I can get back to posting, I sure did miss it.
Love to all you sweeties, SUE???? Asleep, I hope, it is only 8:30pm in London, I hope she is not working.
Shirlann
